Great service and amazing food as always! You can't go wrong with Dr. Limon. Generous portions, and everything came out perfectly. The staff was attentive. Highly recommend!

I had the opportunity to order for pickup, and so far the food has been good at this new Peruvian spot in Homestead. We ordered the following, all worth a try : -Parihuela( -seafood soup) - Anestésico -ceviche mixto - the chicken causas -Messi -Nikkei sushi roll -Tostones De Cangrejo - Papas Huancaina - El Tunche - (Mofongo, Grilled Mahi Mahi, Garlic And Coconut Cream) -Lomo Saltado - Fried Snapper The standout favorites for my family and I were the Anestésico ceviche mixto ( with medium spice), Tostones De Cangrejo, El Tunche, chicken causas, and Lomo Saltado. Each had great flavor worth coming back to enjoy. We also appreciated that the food was not salty, which is great for those who are very cognizant of their salt intake. Overall ordering to go was pretty smooth service. As for the vibe, it seems like a nice laid-back spot and not overly fancy. I definitely look forward to a sit-down dining experience/happy hour here someday soon. But I do recommend making reservations if you plan to dine in, to avoid long waits on busy days/nights. Hope you all have a pleasant experience....Happy dining y'all!

The food is AMAZING, truly top notch. The bartender David has to be the best in the entire restaurant. We love it here so much we started making it a Sunday tradition! The music is always nice and the sports games are always on the huge TV at the bar!

We stopped by for lunch and it did not dissapoint. The location is modern, clean and nicely organized. We were sat promptly and attended right away. Our server was nice and checked on us often. We had the Che Carlitos roll to start and it was FIRE. They char the chimichurri and it gave a nice touch. My husband had the Messi roll an a side of Yuca Frita and he really liked it. I had el lomo saltado which I liked but was not the best lomo saltado Ive ever had. I also tried their frozen lemonade and that was divine. Overall great experience and I would go back.

Pros: good ambience, good service, locale was clean, parking is free. Cons: The food was good, but not amazing, I've been to 3 other Dr. Limons and they were tastier. To be fair, it was a VERY busy Friday evening, perhaps that's why it was a little off. My causa was fine, but the ceviche inside was okay.

I love Peruvian food and Dr limón is one of my favorites in Kendall so I decided to check it out in homestead as well. I loved the vibes and ambiance was great. They had a dj outside playing good music and the decoration is very nice as well. The service was good and at least my food and my mom's was food. Lomo saltado and arroz chaufa. My mom says my dad's soup didn't smell right but I didn't try it.

One of my fav places in the neighborhood. Great food, fantastic vibes. Also you never have to worry about out a shocking bill, they are very thorough and clear with their customers about prices and to make sure you are satisfied. Th food is amazing and the ambience is nice. If you are looking for for a place to watch sports during a Sat during the day, great time! Looking for a cozy dinner at night ? Great time! 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing that I've never tried Dr. Limon before. I've been meaning to go to one for a long time and the time finally came. Went last night with my wife and had a really good time. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, had a very open space with outside seating and a big bar. I haven't been to this plaza in a long time and I was amazed how alive it was! Service was great, we were seated right away! Our waitress, Tatiana, gave us great suggestions and knew the menu completely. I went with an old fashioned even though the classic Peruvian cocktails are pisco sours and chilcanos but my old fashioned was awesome. A little on the strong side but I'm not complaining! For an appetizer we had the "Quítate El Es-Tres" which is a mix of 3 different ceviches. I don't like ordering ceviches but I'm glad we did because they were very delicious! I wanted more!!!! As an entree I had the risotto a la huancaina with lomo saltado. The risotto was velvety and creamy and the lomo was nice and juicy. Great flavors! And the portions are huge...which I like! I was looking forward to having the suspiro limeño for dessert but my stomach was at capacity. I guess I'll have to return to complete my meal!!! This place is 100% recommended!!!

Great vibe. Friendly service. Yummy ceviche. We stopped by for a quick lunch. This was completely new to us and we loved it!

The Ambiance is amazing from the music, scenery, and the open door so that I don't feel closed in on a day out. Next the bartender David was absolutely amazing and recognized that it was my first time so he provided so much information to help me with order and nice casual conversation. He also made an amazing drink that was his special and I absolutely loved it. Haven't tried the food yet but if you want a solo date and not feel too awkward or a causal hangout with a friend with some drinks and fun hip music like Spanish music and house music then this is the spot !! I will be back to review the food !!

Celebrated my brother in law's birthday & our reservation was at 1pm, since it was a group of about 13 adults; two kids & one baby they were able to accommodate us in a table that ran along the side of the restaurant. Sunday lunch seems to be a pretty good day for them since the atmosphere changed to more of a brunch environment around 2pm, yet it was enjoyable. I ordered a Mescalita to start, which was very delicious, the Tabasco rim really tied in the entire drink together (the bartenders know what they're doing) An order of the Malaya was placed for the table and it's a scrumptious appetizer of their steak, yuca & garlic sauce. Also I have to mention that they have canchita & shot glasses of their house leche de Tigre which is to die for!!! Johanna was our server and she recommended La resaca but I went ahead and ordered a Fiebre Alta which she also mentioned was a great dish, I love ceviche and this was very fresh and tasty, their rocoto sauce was 10/10. My son had an order of chicken nuggets which came with rice and French fries as a side. The meal was packed for being a kids' dish. Of course because we were celebrating a birthday we had to save room for dessert, I ordered their maracuyá (passionfruit) creme brûlée, it was good creme brûlée, although the maracuyá was a bit overpowering which made the dessert a bit tart, I give this a 6/10 but would order again to share. I can't wait to return & try more of their dishes!!

In the past, everything we've tried has been consistently good, and there are so many options on the menu to choose from. We decided to dine in for my mother's birthday, and while the service in terms of getting our food out was quick, the food itself was a huge miss this time. Honestly, everything we ordered fell short, which was surprising given our previous experiences. What made it more disappointing was the birthday moment. We ordered dessert and asked if they could sing happy birthday. They brought out the dessert but didn't acknowledge the birthday at all. Then, less than five minutes later, they celebrated another table by singing, which made the situation feel even worse. Overall, we left feeling really let down. Hoping this was just an off night, but it definitely didn't match what we're used to from this place.

RESTAURANT: This location has been here for several decades…read more I have not been back for quite some time, maybe over ten years. It's nice to see that not much has changed. The aesthetic inside is still very true to the Japanese culture with small Japanese status and art work on display. There is a small sushi bar at the back corner and seating are available for small group parties. I am not a fan of carpet flooring. Located next to US1 and there are plenty of parking within the shopping center. SERVICE: The owners had been the same for many years and had always been very polite, as what you would expect with the Japanese culture. We came at very slow evening and we had the place to ourselves. My son was dissappointed to find out that the bento box was only available during lunch, but the server/greeter/owner lady told us that she can make it happen for him and that just made his day. She answered all of our questions and always had a smile on her face. She was very attentive as she was serving other customers as well as it got busy. FOOD: This visit, we had the shrimp tempura entree and the red scorpio roll and a chicken katsu bento box for my son. Each entree includes a soup/salad of your choice. The food tasted just as I remember from many years back. And I am just going to say it, they have the best tempura in Homestead. The portion size is good, very authentic and delicious. The red scorpio have my favorite tempura softshell crab. It's lighter compare to the other rolls with the fresh vegetable inside minus the heavy sauces on top and it look so vibrant with the colorful masago on top. The bento box for my son included a soup as well, with a couple California rolls, tempura veggies and the chicken katsu strips. The katsu was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Overall, this was a nice walk down the memory lane back to when I used to work across the street, we had a lovely dinner. I still believe that they are the best Japanese/sushi restaurant in Homestead. Very authentic from the service to the meal. Fairly priced and so convenient with the late hours. Can't wait to our next visit.
