I respond no absolutely not. That's the reason I called Uber to have it delivered they proceeded to hang up on me then I called Back to ask for the owner and the owner replies to me I'm too busy. I said you're too busy for your customers. What is that for an owner to say that now I understand why his employees are so rude just like the owner. This place has really good subs, probably the best in the area. People who work there are nice and it's a great place to eat. Both I and my two teenage sons love going there. Great community based establishment that I thoroughly enjoyed during my stay in Homestead, Florida. As I always try to support the local economy, I was very happy to find Broadway Subs. I first went there on October 7 and purchased a Philly cheesesteak, a chicken salad sub and for dinner later that night, an Antipasto salad. All three were great. I was very much satisfied. So satisfied in fact, I went back the next day for Navel Pastrami Sub, a Cuban sub and Lobster Bisque. The customer service is excellent, although they are very busy, they make time to say hello and welcome you into their place. Your food is quickly and efficiently made to order. Everything is fresh and delicious. The prices are very reasonable as you are give "plenty for your money". This was my experience today....I was craving a hot ham and cheese. My wife wanted a California Chicken with all the vegetables. I called to place the order while we were in the car so we could swing by and pick up on our way home. I had to call multiple times before someone finally answered the phone. The young girl that took my order put me on hold twice, had problems answering my questions, and was rude. We Picked up our order and got home to eat it. Opened it up and my wife's order was wrong. They gave her a plain Chicken Breast sandwich. It was dry and disgusting. She had to put her own vegetables on it herself. I called and told the young girl what had happened.........Here's where they lost me as a customer... The young girl said...On the receipt it says chicken breast. I said yes, it does but that's not what I ordered. I ordered the California Chicken with all the vegetables. She says, well I took your order and that's what you ordered. I said that's not what I ordered as my wife was right next to me as I ordered. By this time, I was pissed due to her lack of customer service. I then told her there were no vegetables on the sandwich either. She then tells me that I didn't order vegetables. So I told her, I had a feeling you would screw up our order either on purpose or accidently. She then told me not to yell and then hand the phone to some guy. The guy just says hello, and I explained to him what is going on. He then asked If I got carrots on the sandwich. I said no vegetables at all. Then he says, the receipt says a chicken breast sandwich. Finally, I told him to forget it and that I will not ever be coming back and hung up. This experience with Broadway Subs was a headache just to get a sandwich. One that I will not go through again. My suggestion to the Franchisee/Owner...80/20 rule and train your employees on customer service. Your employee taking to go orders, just threw gasoline on a fire and made the situation worse than it needed to be by her attitude. I'll go back to Jimmy Johns and Firehouse. My fiancé and I went on a last-minute date for lunch today. He ordered a 12 inch Philly-cheese steak sandwich with all the fixins on it. I got me a New York(navel pastrami and provolone with all the fixins on it as well). I got mine on a 6 inch Italian roll instead of the rye. The blonde lady with a lovely New York accent helped us order. Was kind enough to tell us if we spend $2 more to get the fries and 12 oz can; or spend $3 more to get fries and a bottle soda, it would be cheaper than spending on fries alone. ALL THE FOOD was great!!! Fries are literally the best I've EVER had and I've traveled a lot within the states! Best batter they use on the fries. It's SO good. However, they gave us two tiny fry sauce cups that barely had sauce in them. The serving for fries was a lot more than expected(we were happy about that!!!) we just like sauce with our fries. Great atmosphere and owner came back just as we were leaving and asked if we got our free cookie! Hahaha! He said, come back in and I'll give you a chocolate chip cookie! He handed us one and we're looking forward to sharing that later. We also look forward to coming back. Very much worth the prices we paid..and great deal on fries and a drink, in addition to the price for our tasty sandwiches. read more
