This was an emergency visit when my regular stylist had to cancel and then I couldn't get in. Savannah did a great job of communicating with me and a fantastic job at matching my color! This establishment is highly disorganized and making an appointment is a joke - they don't value your time! I made an appt here a few months ago only to be called on the morning *of* the appointment to be told the stylist called in sick, and there was no one else to cut my hair. OK, fair enough- stuff happens. I thought that was a one-time thing. Fast forward to today, when I called to get an appointment for the same day as I really needed a basic trim. I was told I could come in at 4:30. I left work early and went down there with my daughter and sat and waited, even though I arrived on time. I saw another lady and her son walk in way after me. They were finally called by a stylist and he proceeded to get his hair cut. It turns out that was the stylist I had an actual appointment with!! Meanwhile, I am still waiting even though now it is like 20 minutes past my appointment time. I inform the receptionist I would be stepping outside for a couple minutes, and I came back about 5 minutes later and still, there was no one available to cut my hair. So I continue waiting... no one once informed me of a time update. At this point, it was past 5:15 p.m, so I went up and asked the receptionist how much longer it would take? She turned around and asked the stylist how long it would take for her to continue cutting the boy's hair. She said it would be another 20 minutes, at least. Both of them were totally unapologetic, they were not sorry that they wasted my time, they were rude and the receptionist would not even make eye contact with me when she told me that I had basically waited there for nothing. This cannot be just random that I have had problems scheduling here twice, and I would definitely avoid this salon based on the other bad reviews by people who have gotten their hair messed up here! read more

The reason why I am giving it only 3 stars is because while my stylist was nice and I received excellent customer service as far as attitude I didn't exactly get the style I was looking for. All I came for was a style which is only 25 bucks so maybe it was because I wasn't paying for a high priced item. The girl at the front desk did greet me but she seemed very serious and was not smiling at all. I usually go to Ulta but they were unavailable at the time I needed. Also my stylist was about 15 mins late and I was on a schedule which is why I had scheduled my appointment for 8am. If I can give zero stars, I will. The salon service was horrible. The salon manager, Carolyn, is extremely unprofessional and rude!!! I went for a hair color service. I wanted an ash brown color; I ended up getting ash gray instead. The person who did it for me over-bleach my hair and didn't complete the job within one day. I had to leave with the incomplete job with bleach all over my head. I had to go back for a second time to finish it. They bleached my hair again, and my hair ended up super damaged with a rash all over my head and the back of both my ears. The next day after I washed my hair, I was in tears because my hair was extremely dry and damaged. My hair was super healthy before I went to Ulta. I called to complain about my experience with customer service three times; no one called me back until the third time. Then the manager, Carolyn, called me with a bad attitude. Her tone of voice is completely rude, arguing with me over the phone. She kept raising her voice at me. I have never had any kind of this rudeness before. She won't give me a refund back to my ultra card without me there in person. I would not recommend this to anyone of this Salon location. Excellent! I called and they were able to get me in on an appointment the next day. I arrived at the salon, and the receptionist knew my name already. WOW thats pretty good. Maybe i was the only person they were expecting that day or maybe i just didn't look familiar either way. I was greeting upon entering the salon. Lo cut my hair and did a fabulous job. She didn't try to fluff on the conversation with me by saying "oh i love your hair" or "your hair is so pretty." After long consideration I have finally decided to write this review because it hits close to home. for the manager, wake up call it's 2017! Everyone is an individual and can be whoever they want. While I was getting my hair done a transgender woman was sitting adjacent to me with Mona? a hairstylist getting her hair cut. She was only a teenager and very sweet from what I could hear. The hairstylist seemed to be taking a very long time, because I was there for a root touchup and a small trim and she was still cutting her hair for a majority of time. I could tell it was taking her a long time for just a simple haircut but the client seemed to be enjoying herself talking to the stylist. Long story short after my stylist was done rinsing my hair out I heard something so despicable I couldn't believe my ears! The manger said under her breath "I wish she would just hurry up and get that THING out of here" .... Who says that? To their client and out loud?! I was so shocked beyond belief..! I just hope that she didn't hear it. I'm never going back because I can't sit in a place with that kind of mentality. My hair was decently done. The root touchup was nice and the was trim a little choppy. The place wasn't very clean and very loud in the back. They were playing indecent music on the radio which caught me off guard for the way this place looked. Overall I'll never be coming back and I hope others take it into consideration when choosing this place to go to. If you do, I recommend Mallory for color. read more

Had a great experience last year when I went in for a trim. My appointment was assigned to Elaina. I'm not super talkative but Elaina is super easy to talk to and very very sweet. When I tried to go in again this time for a balayage, they were booked about a month out. Makes sense. They have a great reputation and produce great results. I ended up going to a different salon and immediately regretted. It was very far from what I wanted and even the cut wasn't even. I got the soonest appointment I could with this Brockway to get it fixed. I was very happy to find that I had Elaina again. She was able to fix my hair and more. She cared about making my experience a better one, making sure I left with my hair looking the way I wanted it as well as it looked really good.
