Really good place to practice your golf skills during winter! Has pizza and drinks available. Otherwise you can bring your own food. The driving range simulator is awesome. It provides a lot of statistics on my swing. At the least it's a fun activity for those who are not golfers. Staff was very helpful and friendly! read more

Broheim's was a new location for me and I came here on a Friday night to meet some family for drinks. This is a nice golfing option with multiple bays available by reservation. They were all fairly busy the night that I was there and seemed like a great option for golfing enthusiasts on the off-season. There are many tables and a bar for seating options. We did order our drinks at the bar, but the bartender came around a couple of times to check on us as well. There's no food here, but that didn't stop us from having a good time! It's nice to have a golf option in the middle of winter in Iowa! Broheims allows you to play golf courses all over the world with their simulators. It's pretty slick technology and only takes a hole or so to get the hang of how it all works. My friend and I played the Old Course at St Andrews. It was a long course and challenging, but really fun. You pay by the hour to rent the stall. We got through about 6 holes in the hour with 2 of us. The bar area is very nicely done with a lot of stone work. They have plenty of tables if you're not golfing or waiting for your turn. Beers on tap were the usual domestics and a few craft beers. They had some signature drinks. I tried the Sand Trap, and it was sweet but quite good! They don't serve food there but it looks like you can bring in food from one of the neighboring restaurants. I noticed someone else had pizza delivered while we were there All in all we had a good experience at Broheim's and we'll be back! read more

By far the best indoor golf available in the Des Moines metro and possibly the best experience I've had with indoor golf. Every one of the simulators works well and they're obviously calibrated regularly! The beverage selection is great and the price can't be beat! They offer 2 different reward programs! Well we live in Iowa and sometime it get brutally cold and it's not golfing weather.... Well Broheim's can change that very easily! You can golf anytime, on one of their 65 legendary courses! Yes that right, you want to fly to the fairways of Scotland, or play hole 18 at Pebble Beach. They got you covered! Or if you want to bring the kids to play Mini golf, or as some people call it Putt Putt or as I recently heard GOOFY GOLF! They also have fun putting games like Skee Ball! It's a blast! 45 bucks and hour gets you a screen! They have in house clubs, and they also give lessons! Now to the bar! It's a fancy sports bar with lots of screens and they do make specialty drinks! They have MLB TICKET, NFL TICKET and all the sports you could want at your finger tips! You can also do picture and picture on the screen you are golfing on! So that's pretty rad! Fun times, locally owned, good happy hour prices and an opportunity to take a trip somewhere warm in the winter without blowing the bank! read more

First time playing golf and I must admit it's a lot of fun! Place is brand new and spacious! They charge by the hour so gather up friends and play a course or two! There are 65 golf courses to choose from and if you are not an avid golfer you can play putput or skeeball!!! It was so much fun playing putput and skeeball! The employees there are super friendly and very helpful...shout out to Justin for being awesome! There are plenty of tv screens to watch games on plus you can watch it while playing golf. They have screen on screen option! The chairs are comfy to lounge in while playing or watching others play. They have all kinds of beverages available to choose from. Jon Daly is yum!! Only bummer thing is they do not have a kitchen...maybe they will serve apps later on. If not no worries though! There are plenty of restaurants right next to them. You can order and bring it in. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. The decor of the place is very sleek and modern lines. I will definitely come back and hang out with friends!! Pretty cool place if you can't golf outside. The equipment and setup is really nice. Large screens and the simulators were high tech compared to other ones I've seen. Sofas and tables behind the simulator so you can lounge while it's your turn. Drinks were decently priced too. We did have to wait over 20 mins after our tee time since the last group was still playing. Seems like if a group starts late it's going to impact almost all of the tee times. Overall it was a fun time here with my golf buddies but i would have had fun with anyone. read more

I've been to Broheim's a bunch of times and can't believe I never wrote a review. It's such a fun option for golf, especially in Iowa winters. I've played actual courses, just used the "driving range", and have played mini-golf. All options are fun and shockingly accurate/realistic. My wife even enjoys going, even though she'd never play golf on a course. This is a much less intimidating option for anyone interested in golf. Also, the setting and drink options are great. Broheim's offers more and better beers than a lot of bars in the area. read more

Got to check out Broheim's last night for a yelp event. This is someplace I probably would never seek out before that. I was a little nervous as I am not an avid golfer but it ended up being a lot of fun! We had a pretty decent sized group, some who frequently golfed and some, like me who do not golf! We got to check out the bar, have a couple drinks and then split up into groups to check out the courses. My group decided to play skee ball and then play some goofy golf. They were fun and challenging. Apparently there are like 65 courses to choose from so whether youre like Tiger Woods or like me, there is something for everyone! There was even a family there with kids that were playing, as well as some people on dates, friends just hanging, etc! The bartender was super friendly and helpful. They have a full bar & have specialty drinks & happy hour specials but do not serve food. However there are several restaurants next door and apparently you can bring food in. The bathrooms were pretty sparse but clean. At first there was no music and it seemed kind of awkward and quiet in there but they turned some on, as well as have tvs with sports on. It did seem a bit pricey for me but for others who golf a lot its probably not too shabby! Also a great place to go in those harsh winter months when you want to feel like your outside. I'm not sure if Ill be back too soon but it would be fun to get a group of friends together and check out more of the courses! read more

If you're interested in this place, you're probably a golfer. So, most importantly, the simulators at Broheim's are the top of the line. Very accurate. There are plenty of courses to choose from, as well as driving range and other golf related games/skills challenges. If the golf isn't enough to sell you, the owners are the nicest guys you'll meet. So helpful, funny, and dedicated to making your time there enjoyable. Staff is friendly...bar tenders are awesome people. Atmosphere...modern industrial but the stone work on and around the bar warms up the space. I love that you can bring in your own food. Great choices within walking distance. The golf simulators are extremely accurate and have putt-putt, Ski-ball, and numerous golf courses! Tons of tvs to watch any sporting event, and the staff and owners are extremely friendly!
