I don't go to Belton too often but really the only reason I venture that way is to hit up Broken Hatchet. They have a large taproom with cornhole, TVs, couches, and plenty of seating. In addition to beer, they have whiskey, wine, seltzer, and even root beer on tap. They do have a few prepackaged snack options but no kitchen. I believe they have food trucks come out regularly. They also do events. On my last visit they had fliers for paint your pet night. So that would be fun to do and they certainly have the space for it. They offer a wide variety of beers-light, dark, and everything in between. One of my favorites is the Burnt District Blonde with coffee. It's a nice light beer that has a hint of coffee that isn't overpowering. If you're in Belton definitely check it out!

Broken Hatchet is a fun brewery in Belton. There is a lot of seating and even a garage style door at the front to let in fresh air. While we were there, they had the Royals Game and the Current game on. We had the brisket nachos along with our flight. The nachos were great. I liked that they did not skimp on the toppings. We also had a beer flight. I enjoyed the black cherry seltzer and would order that again. Staff were all friendly and quick to give recommendations.

Great Raspberry Siasion that definitely hit the spot.

Great active, engaging and still has a local vibe atmosphere! They are constantly expanding their collections of beers along with other options for those customers who are not big fans of beer. The staff was super friendly and I will hands down be going there again soon!

Super fun spot in downtown Belton. Owners are from Lees Summit but wanted a Main St location so chose this spot. A beer variety for everyone but they also offer sodas and wine. You can bring food in. They do have bags of chips and pretzels. If you follow them on social media they often have events with food establishments. They even do a cribbage night. They have some games and corn hole. You can see their tanks as well. Owner is wonderful and can give you the history behind their name. It is based off Carrie Nation. Who happens to be buried in Belton.

Great food, got the bog hog. It was good and the fries were nice! Should have got them with cheese.

We've had 2 book club meetings here along with many other pop ins and the overall verdict is that it is delicious. The Reuben pizza is what dreams are made of. All the food I've seen come out of the kitchen has been great looking and all parties have said that it's really good. I'm stuck on the pizza though. It's so good that I drive out just for it. The owners dogs are a great plus as well. They are so sweet and love saying hi. It's cute and cozy and it's one of my favorites in the area.

It's by itself in the middle of nowhere but it's super peaceful. The brewery is good sized and has lots of seating and even an outdoor patio area. They have a full menu of food, lots of beer, and even cocktails and wine for non beer drinkers. Everyone we interacted with was super nice and friendly. We didn't order any food but I was definitely tempted. We stuck with beer. They lean more towards German styles and they are really well done. I ordered a cream ale-Lickey Chewy that features strong butterscotch flavors. This beer was my introduction to POG at a Brewfest a few years ago and it's definitely one to try. I also tried the Eisbock and the stout. All were really good. I'm going to make an effort to return. And I plan to try the food and maybe catch some live music. If you're in the area or just looking to go somewhere outside of the city, definitely check them out!

We love the music on Sunday afternoons, and the food trucks/bands during the weekend. We love events like cookie decorating and pumpkin carving that they host! I appreciate that they give back to the community (Sundays with a "Pourpus" where part of each beer purchase is donated to a local charity for example), we adopted a puppy on one of those days! We've been coming since they opened and it's been really fun to see how they've grown in the last several years!

But you're coming for the beer, and the beer is really great. Limitless has gone from a location in a light office park to its own standalone building, complete with patio and plenty of space. There are generally half a dozen or more of their own craft brews on tap ranging from IPA through porter/stout. You may have even had some of their flagship beers elsewhere, such as JoCo Juice, a hazy IPA or Rolling in the Deep, a double New England IPA. I myself go for malt over hop, so I find their Marzen to be one of my favorite beers. If they have their Mexican lager on tap, then I also suggest sampling that as well. A flight of four runs you $14-ish and is a great value, as the sample sizes give you plenty of opportunity to really get a feel for their offerings. If you find something you really like, then you can take four-packs home to go in cans. Limitless is open almost every day, at least until 7:00 and when the weather is nice, the patio was a must do. There are frequently people playing a board game or just enjoying the space, and while I don't want this to be just another noisy space, they could do with maybe a TV or two more. But that is just me being picky and since they are in the neighborhood, I like visiting whenever I can.

We had the caramel cream ale, which is in my top 5 beers of all time. Perfectly sweet and light. The peach tee kolsch was good too- a nice balance of peach. The cherry limeade wheat was right on the edge of sour. It was good that it was served in a smaller glass so we didn't do too much of it. We also did a shot of the stonebreaker cinnamon whiskey, which was a really nice collab between fringe and another local distillery. Super smooth with an oaky flavor on the background. Absolutely love the dark carnival decor, especially the pinball machines, the giant skeleton and the patio with a garage door interior. Highly highly recommend on every level. You should go!

What an amazing brewer in the KC suburb of Lee's Summit…read more First off the art work is eclectic and many pieces pay homage to the beers on tap. There is a story for much of the art work which I will not do a disservice by trying put it in a review. Go there, see it and ask they'll gladly share the story. Second, INCREDIBLE beers are on tap. I tasted 10 during my visit and every single beer was worth trying. My faves were: Freshly Squeezed Blueberry Lemonade Wheat, Apple Pie Milkshake IPA and Calliope Caramel Cream Ale. Finally, the most important part of the operation is the people. Every single person that was present made me feel welcome and like I was already a part of their community. WOW, I was left feeling like I'd made new friends which I know I did. I travel to KC at least once per year and every year I will return to support this awesome brewery. Thank you for a memorable experience.
