Stopped by Limitless when in the area. We got there right when they opened and it was dead. We were the only ones there for the majority of our time. They offer a wide selection of drinks. Obviously they have beer, but they also have other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. My husband and I split a flight. He enjoyed the IPAs he tried and I LOVED the sour - Taylor's version. Service was kind. I would definitely stop back by if in the area.

I always love checking out the local breweries by my house. This might be my new favorite board game and beer spot. I believe it's bar service for the most part unless it's pretty slow. All of the bartenders were super friendly and happy to make suggestions. I ended up trying the "ghosts that we knew" it was a sour ale but not too sour at all. It also had hints of pineapple and coconut that were very strong and oh so sweet!! I would highly recommend trying their sours because if they are even half as good as the one I tried you'll be impressed.

Beer here is awesome. The owners run the place which is a good thing in most cases. The lady is not nice. She was very rude & made me feel ignorant and unwelcome. I'll not return. There are too many great breweries in KC to be treated like this.

9500 double hazy IPA it's exquisite. Topped with live music and a food cart. The new location keeps getting better with roomy indoor seating and a lovely porch.

I got a flight! Zipline, Czech, Shake it Off, and Panga (L to R)

This is a cool, very random, a little hard to GPS brewery in Lenexa. The space is so large and great for post-work happy hour or drinking with friends. Food options are only snacks. They do a nice flight program. I had the Panga Drops which was an easy drinking, light, crisp, flavorful lager. Would be a nice summer beer. The Shake it Off is a pineapple cream ale that reminds me of a Dole Whip. This was the bartender's suggestion. She was very friendly. Czech Yo Self was such a nice toasty dark lager. Bold with flavor. Not heavy. Great winter beer. This will bring me back! The Oatmeal Porter (Zipline) was very brazen and everything a Porter should be. Packed with flavor and attacks the tastebuds but once again not heavy. Solid brewery. I'll be back!

    Live music at Limitless

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the live music here while visiting. Wasn't overwhelming but was the perfect background of enjoyable live on a cold evening![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm an IPA guy and prefer west coasts. The flight was good to try, but the only west coast option during my visit was more of a malty approach than hoppy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Totally my flavor preference there, but their staff was awesome and friendly and the atmosphere was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the outside seating as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Community events like cookie decorating are always fun for the whole family!

I can't say enough good things about this brewery! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, they have a variety of beers on tap to suit a wide array of palates, the space is welcoming (although I'm very excited for the new location and even more space). We love the music on Sunday afternoons, and the food trucks/bands during the weekend. We love events like cookie decorating and pumpkin carving that they host! I appreciate that they give back to the community (Sundays with a "Pourpus" where part of each beer purchase is donated to a local charity for example), we adopted a puppy on one of those days! We've been coming since they opened and it's been really fun to see how they've grown in the last several years!

This brewery is great! It does get crowded around 5pm. We have been here twice and gotten in around 4 each time and there are seats available but then it is usually full by the time we leave. I love their 2nd and Elm beer (so much so that I bought a 4 pack to take home), and their Endgame is also good. I love fruity beers that aren't too hoppy or sour. My boyfriend has tried a few of their IPAs and he has also been a fan.

Limited on food and TV's! No food just beer and chips. Odd is what I would call it. Craft beer is just overpriced everywhere. Nice enough people, just not my jam.

Tasty beer, looked like a delicious food truck (Smoke Seoul), dog friendly, and a decent musician playing on a Friday night.

Great place and great beer. How about some more comfortable bar seats and couchs. The chairs are so uncomfortable we never stay long.

$8 per 16 oz beer x 2 plus $4 tip is $20 for two small beers. Good beer but not worth that!

Ask the Community - Limitless Brewing

Do they have other options besides beer and wine, like cocktails?

They appear to have a limited (no pun intended) selection of local spirits behind the bar. I see some vodka, gin, and whiskey at the moment.

Do they serve food as well?

They frequently partner with food trucks, and I believe you're welcome to bring your own food in, but you'd want to contact them to be sure.

The Raspberry Blonde was our favorite, but the English Session Ale, Biere De Garde, and Hazy Pale Ale were all solid beers!

They have a large patio area where dogs and kids can play and run around (leased dogs, not the kids ). They have a stage outside and lots of individual seating and picnic tables. They have one of the best brewery patios in KC. The indoor space is also fairly large and they do have a room that can be rented for private events. And this year, they added an outdoor tent so you don't have to freeze but can still be outside. They have a few TVs for sports ball watching. Service is always fanatic. Despite being busy, they're always clean. They do offer food-tacos, pizzas, kids menu. I've not tried any but I always see people ordering so it must be pretty good. It's a brewery so obviously they have beer, but they also have nonalcoholic beverages and wine. I stick to the beer. My favorites are alway the stouts. They remind me of simpler old school stouts that aren't sweet and heavy. They have live music and other events so make sure to follow their social media and definitely check them out!

The problem…read morewith Rockcreek on this day is that they overbooked, they had two parties happening as well as, Saul's. For a brewery with a maximum occupancy of 83 and an engagement party in the back with 70 people scheduled to attend...you can immediately see the issue. Not to mention the number of kids at this place, now I get it, it was around dinner time it wasn't 9pm however, one of the parties seemed to be a child's birthday party, um what? And why? What an odd place to pick for your sons like 5th birthday (excuse me I am not great at determining ages of snot nosed toddlers nor, do I want them roaming around the brewery I'm at). With all of this being said, the beer was fairly decent and the beef sandwiches were divine. If it was nicer outside, it was still pretty nippy outside and spring hadn't sprung yet, then they have a big patio and outdoor area that could have been utilized. Case in point if your brewery only holds 83 people and you book a 70 person party- number one, just don't. Number two, use business logic and common sense and make it a rule that parties over a certain number have to rent out the space entirely for a private party. And number three, most definitely don't double book your business- heck in this case triple book (with the Saul's pop up bound to bring in a tier of customers you don't normally have) The sour beer was our favorite because, it was only slightly tart and zesty with slight citrus notes, it wasn't too sour and sharp. It was easy to drink which sometimes sour beers are not. I would order this again however, both the IPAS I tried were just okay...the New England one I preferred more, the hop profile was more in line with a slightly piney taste, it was fine.
