Tried the smash burger and the hot honey chicken sandwich and both were fire. The burger was seasoned perfectly and the chicken sandwich was HUGE and so good. I got fries with the garlic aioli, Brome sauce, and chipotle ranch and all the sauces were bomb. & then the salted caramel milkshake to top it off, perfection! The interior feels amazing no matter the season. Clean, open, modern, airy. The kitchen is open so you can see how clean it is- they are not hiding anything here. Brome is the upgraded version of your typical burger shop. The attention to detail here is placed in every ingredient, in every dish. Their burger offerings cater to spice lovers, burger snobs, and even vegans. The carefully curated and surprisingly health conscience other offerings include salads, açaí bowls, milkshakes, juice and tea drink options with just as much tasteful consideration as their staples. My favorite light and crispy nuggets are here. They have high tech ordering stations, but the staff is there to help if you're old school. I'd say this is a very premium fast dining experience. They have always had premium prices, but the prices have basically not changed with inflation, which is incredible. The quality has also not changed. I recently ate at the Auto Club Dr, Dearborn location. I had the chopped salad 2x both with chicken, one grilled and one crispy. The quality, freshness, flavor and quantity were outstanding both times. The location is very clean and the staff I have encounter are very polite and nice. First time coming here, wanted to try something new since I was in the area visiting my usual store I check out. This place was close by so I stumbled on over and tried their Cacao smoothie and their Brome burger. Staff was incredible friendly and the aesthetics of this place are modern and beautiful. Plenty of seats to sit and dine in at as well as little outdoor area too. They have vegan options too! The food will probably take a while to make too since there's usually a line and orders placed ahead from third parties. I received my smoothie first and I thought it was pretty solid. Kind of small for the price. Then eventually I got my burger and I thought it was a bit small on appearance but I was wrong because it satisfying and filling upon every bite. This was probably one of the best burgers I've had this year I might add or probably one of the burgers in the state of Michigan. Solid place worth checking out. It's been nearly 2 years since I stepped food in this establishment but I was craving a chicken burger(they are halal), so I made a stop inside. The business itself has undergone a huge transformation and it looks very open and fancy! The smoothie bar is gone, but you can now get prepackaged goodies before you reach the counter, which I thought was a great touch. They also have self service screens where you can place an order and take a seat, and food with be brought to you. Overall a nice experience to return to, and I look forward to dining in next time and ordering a new burger! read more

Located down the street from Fords garage, Brome Modern Eatery is a nice little spot for some foods and drinks. They've got burgers, fries, juices, Acai bowls and more. They've recently changed their layouts and did some remodeling. I think overall it looks great inside. I typically only grab to go orders so I can't speak on their dining in service, ordering food to go is very simple and has always been super easy. The staff are helpful and can answer questions about the menu. I tend to order the impossible burger and it always tastes really good. It comes with a sauce that makes it 3x more appetizing. I usually go for the Kennebec fries but my last visit I tried the Cajun fries. Both are decent but I really want to try their chili cheese tater tots. I also got the Kombucha sunrise as a drink. Just for this mean the total was $30 which is super pricy so I wouldn't drop in every week but worth a visit at least once. read more

Service was great, courteous, and prompt. Food was delicious, I had the Levant chicken sandwich with a pleasantly acceptable gluten-free bun. Sauce was on point, not too much, not too little. The way that you ordered and walked in was very not straight forward. My friend and I weren't sure if we had to order from the counter, sit down and order or order at the kiosk. We were not greeted when we walked in, and the space from the door to the counter was around 20 feet away. It wasn't the best burger I've had. It was passable with the flavors, but more on the salty side than I would have preferred. The interior though was beautiful. It had a live plant wall, and the light fixtures were beautiful. Unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing. My credit card was charged twice for the same meal, and when I reached out to resolve the issue, the owner refused to look into it and was very rude during our conversation. While mistakes can happen, the lack of accountability and poor treatment of customers left me with a very negative impression. I cannot recommend this restaurant and advise others to carefully check their receipts. Paying $40 for 2 salads Is ridiculous yet alone getting double charged and paying $80. Thank you for your prompt response. I wanted to follow up and let you know that a resolution was reached yesterday. When we spoke with one of the managers the same one who previously told us he would call us back we were informed that he is no longer working at brome. However, a second manager stepped in and provided a resolution by issuing a $30 e-gift card. That said, the situation did take about 3 to 4 weeks to resolve, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, I'd like to mention that many of your menu items, especially salads, are significantly overpriced. I understand that pricing may be influenced by your location and operating costs, but once any kind of protein is added, the price of a salad easily exceeds $20. read more

Always order the farmer salad but the flavors were getting boring so opted for a Caesar, the Parmesan cheese was so pungent and bitter it ruined the whole salad and the sweet potato puffs were burnt to a crisp, even when I get the sweet fries a they are rubbery and burnt. The burgers were great. I love that there's something for everyone here.. Meat, chicken, fish, plant based--we were all happy. They also have gorgeous green salads available, but I was in a burger and fries mood. The organic non-GMO drinks are really great. I will add a photo so you can see for yourself. Unfortunately, I started burping after our meal and that was the indicator that the oil they use in the fryer is not healthy. Sure enough, I asked, it is soybean oil. Soybean is highly inflammatory and very unhealthy for our bodies since it is genetically modified. That is my only complaint that we need to go all the way with all the foods and that includes the oil in the fryer. This oil is highly inflammatory and it's a big reason why a whole lot of Americans have a leaky gut syndrome going on. Amazing burgers and shakes. Their strawberry is so good and I think it has little frozen chunks of strawberry. Burgers are prepared fresh and to your liking. They do have a bigger selection of different types of burgers and chicken sandwiches. I also realized they are very popular for their salads. I'll have to try the salad next time and keep you all posted. Ambiance is nice very cute place to hang with friends and family. It is loud and they always have good songs playing. There is a cute patio outside to sit on. Service was a little slow as they prepare the sandwiches fresh so that was expected. Parking in the back. This restaurant is very modern and chic. It has a California vibe. They have a free private parking lot in the back of the restaurant and you can enter though the back door. Parking is tight back there as it is used for the entire strip mall. You may have to wait and stalk someone walking to their car to get a spot. The restaurant as an indoor patio, and outdoor patio, and indoor dining. There are some clear pods outside that looked like there were used for dining during the pandemic. The restaurant is very clean and trendy. The menu has some delicious brunch items such as breakfast burgers, chicken and waffles and banana fosters pancakes. There is also a wide range of burgers and salads to choose from. And for the little ones, there is a kids menu. I ordered the Mex burger with a side of fries. The burger is your typical smash burger type. It was still good though. I liked my burger and fry combo. I stopped at Brome Modern Eatery for a quick Friday lunch at noon. The restaurant wasn't too crowded and I got my food within 15 minutes. Dante's Heaven Burger - The patty is at least a half inch thick and has some crispy bits on the outside. The ghost pepper cheese adds a good spice level, not overwhelming, but you can definitely feel the heat. The burger juicy enough that the grease and cheese starts dripping down when you eat. There is some relish and habanero on the bottom that adds a nice sweet and smoky flavor. It's not a top tier burger, but it's still quite good. Cajun Fries - Probably single fried, not particularly crispy. Standard cajun seasoning sprinkled throughout. The fries are pretty average overall, not sure if I would get them again. read more

I got takeout from here as part of a Yelp Elite event, which involved placing an order online ahead of time. There was quite a long line to get the food (it looked like one line for ordering and pickup - definitely would've worked out more smoothly with two separate lines), but 15 minutes later I got my food. Thankfully, they kept my milkshake in the refrigerator or freezer so that it didn't melt. Wait aside, the food and milkshake were amazing! I had the strawberry shake on the drive back home and it was basically finished by the time I got back. It was the best shake I've had! It had rich, creamy, pure tasting frozen custard with real strawberry chunks and whipped cream on top. It tasted natural, unlike fast food shakes. It's pricy at $6, but worth it. As much as I loved the strawberry, I'd love to go back and try other flavors. For my entree, I ordered the original burger. It had fresh and flavorful beef, cooked perfectly medium as requested. The was soft, warm, and toasted on the inside. The Brome sauce was like thousand island - it goes very well with the burger. The crunchy pickle slices gave a nice tartness to contrast the heaviness of the meat and sauce. Excellent burger with high quality ingredients! I also got a side of fries, which came with a ton of them. They were crunchy on outside and soft on inside, with just the right amount of salt. The potatoes tasted very fresh. The prices here are definitely not cheap. The burger and fries came out to about $15 after taxes. But this is a solid place to eat at and I'd definitely like to come back sometime to try other items. I will say, it's in a downtown area, so it doesn't have its own parking. You have to find street parking or public lot parking. Not the most convenient, but I have no regrets coming here! read more

Line for the register. 2 2 seater tables, 2 4 chair table empty I placed my order for pick up for 630p at 510p. (FIVE) Got to the register at 648p to be told it wasn't ready. I would be called when it was ready. I was asked if i needed anything while waiting at 655. At 709p, when the counter emptied, i asked for my order to be checked on, she turned around & a man just placed it on the counter after confirming that it was a Yelp order. I was then asked if I wanted any drinks to which I declined, said thank you then left. My food was room temperature (beef burger & fries that I tasted once in my car). There was no warmth. This is an updated review for me. I ordered the Mex burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The Mex burger was almost too messy to eat, the layers sliding apart and the sauces squishing out with the first bite. I will say that the taste was worth the mess. The Mex wasn't too spicy for me. The pickled jalapeno were mild, as was the chipotle mayo. The burger was, however, super flavorful, and I'd order it again. After being disappointed with the regular fries on my first visit, I opted for sweet potato, and I was very happy with the choice. I ordered a side of honey mustard as a dipping sauce, but the fries honestly didn't need it. They were nicely seasoned, a perfect combination of sweet and salty. Yum! read more

Flew into Detroit on a work trip and needed to grab a late dinner. Walked in at 9:30 pm and the food was fresh and so amazing!! Ordered a burger and was so impressed with all the add ins available to customize it just the way I wanted it. We also ordered the Berrananna açaí bowl and it did not disappoint. 1. They're using the wrong bun for their burgers. It's too tough. When you take a bite, the bread doesn't come apart, it just pinches the burger's contents and they all slide out the opposite side. For a double like I ordered, it was hard to enjoy. 2. Fries are being "eyeballed" while frying. I know this because the first fries that came out were all oil and no potato. They were overcooked. I sent them back because I know Brome has great French fries that are seasoned well and I wanted to enjoy them. The new fries I got were undercooked. They need to use a timer for consistency. 3. They remodeled the entire restaurant and it looks incredible. However, there's no upkeep in the restrooms. The booth seats are so wide that it doesn't make sense. There's a wall of lightbulbs that could induce a migraine. Something tells me they don't want you getting comfortable in this place. I could go on, but I'm never going back because they'll probably never fix these things, so there's no point in continuing. read more
