We were around Detroit area looking for a Mediterranean restaurant and found this one in Yelp, so thought I'd be worth giving it a try, but we had NO idea we were about to find one of our new favorite restaurants in the entire U.S. The food was INCREDIBLE!!! We ordered salad, falafels, lentil soup, French fries, rice, chicken, and hummus. The falafel was different from the usual falafel you get elsewhere, It was much softer and had such a delicious, moist texture, now.... they cook the best lentil soup I've ever had in my life!! French fries were cooked perfectly. The chicken breast was also really GOOD!! My husband ordered a full portion of chicken, and he was blown away by how flavorful and tender it was. And the hummus is an absolute MUST. I LOOOVE IT!!!! We ordered way too much because everything looked so good, and at some point we literally had to tell ourselves, "Okay, we need to stop eating." Lol We live in Chicago, and I tbh.... can't think of a Mediterranean restaurant there that compares to this place. A lovely spot in Deerborn. It offers lovely flavorful halal food, including some classic American fare that even kids and picky eaters (me) will like, in a relaxed, chic environment. Parking is easy and accessible. I ordered a Mozzarella Cheese Sticks appetizer, and it was very good. The large, thick, square type with a lot of cheese, 6. Yum. My fiancee loved her frozen Rasberry Lemonade. They also offer pita, and a beautiful, huge crock of hummus. I got the Butchers Burger and it was delicious! Medium, good beef, juicy, bun substantial but not wet, good amount of cheese, good bun to beef ratio, I have no complaints, it went in my belly. The fries are also amazing. Angenerous portion, seasoned just right, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. My fiancee got the 4 skewer meal which in hindsight, is probably for 2 people. She was crazy about the beef and chicken skewers, and also enjoyed spicy ground beef and sojuk. It came with rice, charred onion, and tomato, and 2 sides. Staff is helpful and friendly. This was a random find on a Friday evening when all the restaurants we originally planned to visit were packed. We checked in, gave our name, waited to be seated. While waiting and browsing through nearby restaurants, we found another interesting spot close by, so we thought we'd just do starters here and then head out. But once the food arrived, we changed our minds and it turned out to be a great decision. The food was delicious, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Everything we ordered was on point, and we ended up finishing our entire dinner here. Our waiter consistently checked in to make sure we were taken care of. Even though the place was busy and the space is a bit small, the service was prompt and attentive. Parking was convenient with shared parking available in the back alongside nearby stores. We happened upon this restaurant on the way to a Yelp Event in the area. Since we both love middle eastern cuisine, we stopped in for dinner. The space is somewhat small since it's located in a strip mall but the seating is comfortable and they can accommodate parties of 6 at the stand alone tables (in case you have a larger group). Our server, Kamal, was very personable and greeted us with a smile. That smile lasted our entire visit and makes you feel welcome and appreciated, as a customer. I opted for the Chicken Shwarma sandwich combo, which included fries and a drink. The food came out very quickly although the restaurant wasn't super busy. The chicken was not larger strips but smaller pieces of meat mixed with the garlic sauce, pickles, and a few fries. They serve it in a large sized tortilla and slice it in half so you can always take half home for another meal. The sandwich was very flavorful and the fries were cooked perfectly and lightly sprinkled with some spices. It was a filling meal but didn't make me feel weighed down. I really liked the different way the chicken was done and I loved the garlic sauce on it. I highly recommend the restaurant as well as our server - we will be back! read more

The outside was perfectly crispy, but the filling was just plain dry. The reuben egg roll? Much better and highly recommended if you like reubens. The salad would have been good, but it was over-dressed. I didn't even think to ask for the dressing on the side because most restaurants usually serve the dressing on the side (exceptions: Ceasar and fattoush), so I guess that's my fault.
