I've been through a lot of medical trauma recently- and found myself having a panic attack almost when I was here. The doctor was so kind -he put on music that I liked and then we started talking about his life. He was making me laugh so hard I was crying tears. I felt very taken care of and was able to completely calm down and have an almost painless free experience and I am hyper sensitive in my gums and teeth. 3 years ago I moved an hour away from Brook Dental and started my dental maintenance with a local dentistry. Although it was convenient because it was close, when it came down to having something major done, I received an evaluation form both dentists and chose to have Dr. Chris create my new smile. I just flat out trust him more and feel more comfortable with him. My porcelain veneers turned out AMAZING!! I do some plus size modeling and have had to take pictures with a closed smile but now my smile is the first thing people see and I am smiling all the time! I was so worried the teeth would look fake (I had a huge space between my front two teeth) or too big however, they turned out PERFECT! People are complimenting me about my smile left and right. The procedure itself was done gingerly and with concern for any discomfort. I just love Dr. Chris and his team. They made me comfortable, saved me money and provided the best results. Dr. Chris Bileca and his staff are one of those type of doctors businesses that care about their patients. Walking in it feels like any other office with the hint of medical sanitation aroma in the air. The pastel floral arrangements and the 80's décor hide the care and attention that you get from the team here. Immediately you notice that the waiting room is not large and crowded with TV's tuned in to cartoons. That's because you won't ever be spending that much time in the waiting room. Also, I feel like they are very accommodating when scheduling issues arise. The phone isn't always answered right away because they give full attention to the person that they have on line. That being said, they are always good at returning your call to let you know that it is your turn to have your undivided attention. In the chair I feel comfortable and relaxed which it usually difficult for me as dentist cause me great anxiety. I always remind the doctor how sensitive my teeth are and he always reminds me to raise my hand when it hurts. After a few flinches he rubs my mouth down with Novocain and he can go to work without me squirming around. read more

I was sent here because of my insurance. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised ! The staff is small but very friendly ! The Dentist is very nice and good! I had to go for a teeth cleaning and root canal. I was in a ton of pain and they were very accommodating even moving patients around to fit me in! They took good care of me and my advice would be - follow the doctors orders especially if he gives you medication to take- I stopped and it dragged my treatment plan out for an additional two weeks. I am now 3 weeks out from my treatment and my tooth is perfect, no problems and NO Pain! Thank you so much to the staff. I will be back for sure !!! read more

I have not been blessed with good teeth. Fortunately, I am blessed with the next best thing: a terrific dentist. Dr. Bileca has been my dentist for a decade. It is a family business, and the staff are always welcoming, in addition to being kind and efficient. Dr. Bileca himself is a good man and a talented dentist. He is genuinely excited when I show him pictures of my baby girls, or talk about a recent vacation. When we have had "work" to do (I have had a root canal, and two crowns, over the years), Dr. Bileca manages to be a perfectionist while still working quickly, kindly, and gently. Brook Dental has been great for me, and I would immediately recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. read more

It was my first time coming here, and was confident about my visit since this place had such good reviews. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. I feel bad that I am the first bad reviewer, but I must be honest. I got a teeth cleaning done here, and I told the dentist that my gums are sensitive. He cleaned them extremely fast, faster than I've ever had a cleaning in my life. So I thought maybe he was just really good at it. Anyway, the next 2 days the back of my mouth felt really sore.. it got worse and worse but I thought maybe it was no big deal. Then, the 3rd day I woke up screaming in massive pain with my jaw completely throbbing. The pain was unbearable. I had to go to the emergency hospital, and my mouth was totally swollen and had a huge lump in my gum. They told me I had an infection in my gum. They prescribed me antibiotics and it slowly got better. I went back to Brook Dental, to get a checkup and told them what's going on and it really just did not seem like he cared and was more concerned about not taking the blame for it. When I told him this started happening right after the cleaning, he kept defending himself saying it wasn't the cleaning over and over again. When I never once said it was from the cleaning. He started poking around at the infected area a bunch of times where it started hurting again. When I went to the periodontist, he never poked at my gums and said it's not wise especailly if they are healing. Anyway, he pretty much rushed me out of there, he never sat down to talk to me calmly, and seemed like he just wanted me out of there. Which is odd, because the first time I went, he was very friendly. I kept asking him what I could do and what my options were and if he could help me and he really was not that responsive. He pretty much told me that there's not much they can do. He told me the crown was not done right by my last dentist and that it was over my roots. I went to a periodontist, and he told me this wasn't true, that the crown was put on fine, it was just a little bit over my tooth but not something to give me a high infection. The periodontist also told me that this was most likely from the cleaning and could be from the tools being unsanitary. When I went the second time, I noticed the tools did not seem new or sanitary. The mirror had tons of scratches on it, and the place where the tools go, had dirt and yellow stains around the holders. Also, the dentist at Brooks Dental told me that my gum has probably been infected for years. When I have never had pain in my mouth there whatsoever, or any swelling. If I did, I would have felt it right away which is what the periodontist said as well. Anyway, I would really get a second opinion before or after coming here. If this dentist works for you, great. But I myself will never come back here again and wished I never did after that scary experience. read more

I was very fortunate to stumble upon Dr. Bileca's office when he was in the location on Avenida De Los Arboles because I had just moved to that area. (I have since followed him to the new location) Its quite a gamble to just randomly go to a dentist you know nothing about, but in my case I got very lucky. I tend to be nervous with dentists due to bad childhood experiences but I have always felt very relaxed, comfortable and confident in the care of Dr. Bileca and his staff. They are always so pleasant and warm right when you walk in the door. You are always greeted warmly by the office manager Jean. (Who is also great about appointment reminders!) I have never had to wait long and I feel they work quickly and efficiently. I've had some friends tell me they feel like their dentist might be over selling services they don't need or charging too much. I have never felt that way at all. Dr. Bileca always takes the time to do a careful and thorough check up but gives me the option and explanation as to my choices are if I need work to be done. I truly enjoy Dr. Bileca and his wife Angie who works as his assistant. They are kind, considerate, fun and full of life. Its always a pleasant visit. Dr. Bileca is a big fan of music and he always has interesting mix of music playing. I encourage you to go see them if you are in need of a dentist. I was in dire need of a dentist and asked around the office since I'm not originally from here. Someone mentioned Brook Dental and they were in my insurance network. Even if they weren't, after my first visit, i would still make this my go-to dentist office. The staff is super friendly, from the receptionist and billing lady Jean, all the way through Dr. Bileca and his wife, and their main assistant. He is very thorough and wants to ensure throughout the entire process that I was not in pain, erring on the side of caution if anything, which puts a person like me with anxiety at ease. I haven't felt this comfortable visiting a dentist in over 20 years. I've had a root canal, a crown, and a couple of cleanings, and am about to go in for another crown (maybe two) from my own neglect before seeing him, but I have been pleased with the billing process, the procedures, the conversations with all of the staff, and my wife has also been pleased with the way she was treated. When I've gone in there, I've listened to how they interact with other patients, and I know why people go back there. Absolutely worth it. You'd be remiss not to give them a chance to work on your teeth. I'm glad I got that recommendation, and now I'm paying it forward. read more
