I actually found out about it…read morethrough Nonla Burger's Instagram account, and since I was in town this weekend my friends and I decided to check it out. It was HOT when we went (about 90 degrees out) but the market has some nice shaded areas. There were a lot of vendors selling true vintage things (clothing, typewriters, records, etc.) and a few selling homemade things. I ended up buying a small Alice in Wonderland purse (clutch-sized) for $12 which I really liked. There were also a few food vendors on site - that day (8/5/18) there was Nonla Burger, plus a kebob stand and one other small food truck. We also had ice cream from Red Trike Ice Cream and that was super tasty. 4 stars instead of 5 from me because the bathroom situation could be better (they have Womens and Mens bathrooms by the "Office" area, which is in the middle of the market) ... apparently during the Farmers Market they have more of an indoor bathroom area though. Regardless of the weather, this was a fun time and I'd go back again when in the area.

I don't think I've ever been in a store that offered complimentary treats! She asked if we were looking for anything specific and offered any assistance. She then made her rounds in the store offering more treats to everyone. That was my first impression of this place and I was WOWED! We started to shop and this place has EVERYTHING! They have new and old items so if you're looking for a great baby gift or fun and handmade gift for a friend this place is where you should shop. They also have antiques, clothes, kitchen items, decor you name it! They have everything put together so we'll and gives you really good decor ideas! I can't wait to come back up here and shop! Next time I'll be sure to carve enough time because I know I missed so many great things!

Unfortunately, as the saying goes, there's a sucker born every minute. There's a high turnover of vendors who think they're going to make a killing on the little crafts and garage sale items they sell there. Let me save you the disappointment. You won't even break even. Most likely you'll lose money and move out quickly so the next unsuspecting victim can move in. The owner keeps store hours very limited because she pays the hourly help out of her pocket and it save her lots of money to have limited hours. All the while rent is due each month from vendors. You'd be better off selling on FB Marketplace, eBay, etc. Avoid this place at all costs.

I liked the layout of the store and the fact that it shares space with a quirky vintage shop. Products range from goodies for kids (my friend's Sunshine Chewelry is there, and there's bibs and onesies, too) to the beautiful ceramic growlers and beer steins of Grayling Ceramics, soaps and lotions, clothes and more. The mural along the wall next to the building is also a lovely local beaut. La!!
