Went to Brook Run for the first time with my fur babies last night. Small and large separate areas. Huge large dog area, plenty to sniff and lots of friendly dogs all over. Everyone was courteous and all dogs had the best manners. Water and tennis balls a plenty. Separate entrances and exits kept the flow of coming and going traffic smooth. The city park was huge and I wish there were better signage to show where the dog park part was, but if you go past the skate park it's in the very back. Hope that helps. Cassius and Laila loved it, they told me they give Brook Run Dog Park 5 paws, so, there you go!!

This is a really great dog park with a lot of space for handlers and canines to roam. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. It was a safe off leash space to let my husband's service dog stretch his legs and be a dog while in Atlanta for a few weeks. Do beware of the effeminate millennial with the aggressive dog. He clearly doesn't understand canine behavior and cues, nor does he know the difference between play and aggression body language. When he was asked to police his dog, he became passive aggressive and ran off half the people who had been there for the better hour visiting and playing. What a douche nozzle. The guy was clearly overcompensating for what he lacks upstairs and in his pants. Over all, it's a really great place and great folks.

This is me and my son, second time coming here! We absolutely love the water trail especially today since it's hot! Family oriented and a great place to hangout especially during traffic hours.

We were looking for a place to take our dogs to run off some energy and stumbled upon this place. Huge fenced in areas for full speed running and hide and seek. It is predominantly shaded with several benches, gravel (perfect for when the weather is wet), several doggy water stations, a doggy wash area, poopy waste stations, separate play areas for big (25+ lbs) and little dogs. In our experience, dogs and owners were friendly and attentive to their dogs. We will definitely be back.

This dog park is awesome. Very big and plenty of space for the pups to run. They have three water stations and plenty of shade for the parents to start cool in the hot summer. Come on Thursday nights during the summer and fall and you can envo enjoy the food truck festival and live music with your pup's. Most visitors are well behaved with responsible parents. Bring your fur babies and have a great time!

Love this park! Yes, bringing the pooch to the dog park portion or this massive urban gift is splendid--but I'd like to review the whole dang park! They've recently added miles of wide paved walk/bike/run ways! The food truck Thursday's never disappoint! There's lemonade days in April each year--a carnival atmosphere with fun for every age! If your a student at PCMS you can walk right over after school and get your exercise on in a fun safe environment. Recently added is a canopy tree tour & zip lines! And there's an AWESOME skate park for skateboarders or their admirers. The playground is also state of the art(they have their own yelp checkin) Many different ways to get moving in a urban location with a great park setting.

We love this dog park! It is very big with open space and a tree area as well. They have a small dog side and a large dog side. There are lots of benches and a few pick up stations. The ground is mostly pebbles which is good because there isn't much mud when it rains.

I really like this dog park. The big dog section is huge and has little trails you can walk along with your dog. There is a wooded area and a gravel area for your pup to run around. My dog loved playing and fetching, and the other owners were really friendly and nice. The only downfall is that the gravel area smells strongly of dog urine.

The layout is fun and the park itself is beautiful, especially in the winter when the leaves are thin and you can actually see the baskets through the trees. That said, the course could really benefit from clearer signage. Several pads weren't well marked, and we even had to skip a hole because we couldn't figure out where it started or ended. Since we only had time to play about half the course, we found ourselves spending more minutes navigating than throwing. I can't imagine how tough it must be in the summer when everything is fully leafed out -- it's probably like searching for a needle in a haystack. Still, it's a solid course in a great park, and with better markings it could easily be a five‑star experience.

I had no idea this was an annual thing and am happy that the city of Dunwoody does this and am definitely looking forward to next year's lights. While there were a ton of people, there was plenty of parking and I appreciated that there was an officer there to keep the flow of cars moving along. The park itself had several playgrounds and I loved they were padded. The kids had a blast on slides, swings and running around in the wide open space. The bathrooms were clean which always makes things even better. The kids had a blast playing with all the other kids and this is definitely a playground I'd come back to visit.

You pull up to the building and from the parking lot, you have no idea where it actually is. You just have to get out and start exploring and hope that GPS has actually landed you in the right place. I didn't walk that far because I always stop for my pup to play with the bigs. There is fresh water at the entrance, and when it's hot, there are plastic pools you can fill and mud for your dog to play in. There is some shade, but it's not every where, and the grass (as you'd probably expect) is non-existent, but it's a fun time, especially when people actually get off their phones (AND THE BENCHES) and play with their dogs.

The bathrooms used to be filthy every time I would come in from 2020-2022. I would see workers cleaning them after 12 noon generally, but I just always happened to catch them when they were still pretty grimy. Recently, I went in this past Friday, January 27th, and the ladies' room was actually spotless compared to the other times I've seen it! Maybe I just caught it on a good day, maybe it was too cold for people to be out soiling it with heavy use, or maybe they've employed more workers to this park in the new year, but in any case it was a pleasant surprise. That's really the only gripe I've had historically with this park in the 3 years that I've been living in Norcross. Briscoe, Shorty Howell, Alexander, and Bethesda are probably some of my favorite Gwinnett parks just to name a few for various reasons, but Graves Park still trumps many Dekalb or Fulton parks in terms of cleanliness, overall safety, accessibility, parking, walking trails, scenery, and available picnic areas/ bathrooms. A lot of people love Graves for the dog park section. I haven't had a dog since my childhood, but it seems like a good place to let your furry friends run if you need the space. I personally like this park for the trails. There is a longer looping option through the woods and a shorter loop around volleyball/ tennis courts and the backside of the playground. All the patrons here are pretty friendly that I've encountered. If you need to get out of busy soul crushing traffic on Chamblee-Tucker Road or Jimmy Carter, come stretch your legs at Graves Park - a nice little getaway from the madness.

Shade is hard to come by in the middle of a hot Atlanta day - so, if you don't want to die from a heat stroke, come equipped with a tent or something. The main attraction is a splash pool that kids just go ga-ga over. There is pretty good parking options available, with just a short walking distance to the splash pool, even shorter to the playground. Apparently, this is a predominantly Latino neighborhood, judging by the dialects used by kids and adults alike. There are some peddling their wares (food, drink etc.), but they are not particularly intrusive. We had a fun and hot afternoon!

I wanted something cold and juicy - the POG basement IPA is one of my favorites, so I skipped the draft list and opted for the can. I also loved the cocktail list with dog themed names - the Moscow Mutt was pretty tasty. There isn't much shade at the park - so we were all crowded under the shade of the awnings, attempting to get as close to the fans as possible. I tried to get my pup to go out to the turf and play with other dogs but it was way too hot for her so she just kept following me back to the shade to chill. The tennis balls were too big for her to catch and there are only one size available. She prefers to play fetch with the smaller balls we have at home. The dog trainers/park workers tried to interact with her but she was a bit aloof and clingy to me. My pup is not very dog friendly anymore thanks to a bad incident at a public dog park, so unfortunately I can't come by regularly now - however if your dog enjoys playing with other dogs and people and you want to be able to drink and socialize at the same time, definitely recommend!

The park features a fenced in splash pad with water that shoots up from spouts in the ground. It does not have any above ground water features, but is still nice and refreshing on one of those hot GA days. It is button activated and runs for 30-minutes. This splash pad is touted as being the city's first. Additionally, the park has a nice bathroom facility. The park's playground is on the mud free rubbery surface and has some modern, new equipment. There are percussion instruments, a fake log, a saucer swing, a friendship swing and toddler swings, a large jungle gym with monkey bars, slides, ladders, bridges, and canopies. There is a smaller jungle gym for little kids. That apparatus has a small slide, tunnels, and other fun stuff. This is a newer park, opening in 2023. At 5-acres, it is kind of small.
