I called back about 30 minutes later to reschedule, only to be told that I could not make another appointment until I paid a $50 cancellation fee. I explained my situation and asked if they could make a one-time exception since I have never missed or late-cancelled an appointment before. They told me they were unable to help. I understand that offices need cancellation policies, but I was disappointed by the complete lack of flexibility or consideration for an unforeseen emergency and a patient with a good attendance history. As a result, I'll need to find another podiatrist to continue treatment for the issue they had already begun managing. I was hoping for a more compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Worst Managed Practice I have ever experienced! Started going to them about twenty years ago, but…read morein the past two years they have become so unprofessional. Calls are never returned, ever. it takes weeks to get the simplest of approvals leaving dozens of messages to get an answer: what should have been a routine order for lab Corp for blood work for physical was not issued two days before the appointment because they "were waiting for doctors approval". Having experiences this in last years physical I started calling them ten days prior to the appointment, two days before the appointment still no returned call. Another time the doctor ordered a procedure and when I went to schedule it the hospital said they needed pre-approval. The insurance company said the approval had to come from the doctors office. Dozens of calls to Chalfont Family Practice, no call back even once, finally I connected and was told "oh we should have given you that authorization number when we gave you the order". When you visit, there are half a dozen people mulling around; but no one seems to return calls or listen to messages. Archaic and old fashion office that does not use email or texts to communicate with clients; everything is menu and voicemail and they do not return your messages. Don't expect much here, the office is busy making the patients jump through hoops; and they seem to enjoy it.
