First time home/condo buyer after moving to Chicago. I met Brooke through a friend and couldn't be more pleased. I was looking to aggressively purchase in Lincoln Park/Lakeview area during the crazy 2016 market. After reaching out, Brooke and I chatted via phone and she helped me walk through MLS and recommended I go through listings and find a few places I might be interested in. We met up not too long after and viewed several places. Brooke was very thorough in explaining issues with the neighborhood, items that may need to be fixed/upgraded, and properties of the home that may affect re-sale or HOA/repair fees. It was highly educational for a first time buyer and helped me understand what I'd need to narrow my search towards. After only a few meetings Brooke quickly understood what I was looking for. When I'd see something on MLS that I thought I'd like, Brooke stated it probably wasn't something I was looking for based on my preference, although she was never dismissive. Out of curiosity I saw some of those places anyway, and she was spot on. I walked in and immediately knew it wasn't the place for me. Eventually I let Brooke make the choices and recommendations. I browsed listings on occasion but Brooke knew exactly what I'd prefer and be interested in given her experience. (on a personal note, pictures are VERY misleading).
