Climbable sculpture with some playground equipment. The most unique playground I've ever seen and really well maintained. Who's idea was it to put a moonscape in the middle of a park? It's totally wild and fun. Treat for your eyes with the long plaster or concrete? ramps running along the park. Otherworldly craters and rocks to climb on. A nice destination if you're bored of your neighborhood park ‍

Your standard community Park, but it's convenient because it's close to where I live. It has the basics. You know, uneven basketball court rims, the occasional cigarette butt on the pathway, transients hanging out, and litter in the parking lot. It does have some cool obstacles and play structures for the kiddos. Plus there is plenty of greenery to play soccer, football, and softball/ baseball diamond. There is a private parking lot adjacent to the baseball diamond, but beware of flying balls damaging car windows. Overall a decent park located in a decent area.

Same pair of underwear with a turd on them and no toilet paper whatsoever

Brought my kid here on a wed and on Saturday same week and both times we had to leave as soon as my son needed to use the restroom..... nobody cleans this place and it's disgusting. Should be cleaned at least once a day but both times the restroom looked the same ...

Dirty park. Don't bring yours kids here. Vandalized with trash and awful graffiti. Dick drawings everywhere and get it sucked advertising with numbers in the kids area. Change your oil at the park stains all over the parking lot, get your broken down looking electric cars charged. Half the parked cars have a male occupant just sitting in it staring at everyone while others park just to smoke with there meth looking pipes. So come on down if you need cans and trash to recycle, there's plenty to grab.

There were beautiful trees (some of which were blooming:) to climb or sit under. I saw couples, some homeless, kids skateboarding, some kids drawing and playing. The unique wall structure wasn't anything we'd ever seen so we ran around and had a blast. I saw a few cigarettes on the ground, no big deal. Some people choose to deface public property but it's still fun to slide down a slide regardless of what's written on it. It's west Anaheim so there are going to be transients/homeless and this isn't directly the park's fault. Parks are PUBLIC and for everyone to enjoy and, since it's free, transients/homeless go there, too. It was quiet, pretty, had a unique wall maze AND there was a strong ranger presence that I liked. They circulated often making sure everything was in check. We'll be back!

"Moon Park" It is a shame this park isn't kept up better. Despite it being a bit run down, the kids love this place. I am always a bit apprehensive as it is always filthy. The kids love the bridges and it does "take me back" as I played here in my youth also. Trash from the previous night's rave though litter the playground. It is also a bit hot during afternoon hours as there is no shade relief on the playground itself. With a little love though, this could be a fun spot for the family. -bbq's- -filthy playground-

A lot of stuff to do here I enjoy the park here it pretty cool to enjoy it I like the photography

    Monkey bars lacking most paint.

Not a park I can see myself going to again soon. The pros: there are a few baseball fields which are great. I used to play softball here. There is also a nice skate park which looks to be in pretty good condition. The cons (which is what my rating is based off of): brought my son here to play for an hour. The playground, while big, looks like a volcanic aftermath with worn down remains of what must have been a play area for kids. Mixed with paintless and rusty structures (swings and monkey bars only) and a big rock bridge thing, it really looks like the playground has been forgotten. Can't forget the many food wrappers looking for a home. The playground could be so much better if the city put some work into it. A great example of awesome parks would be Stanton. Hoping the city will update this park in the very near future.

I met up with a friend that I hadn't seen for awhile and it was the perfect place to catch up during a walk around of the garden. I loved the pond with the lily pads and turtles, and the Heritage House surrounded by orange trees and roses. I was impressed by the amount of orange trees. It reminds you of why they call it Orange County. If I went to school here I'd be here probably once a week. Otherwise it's great to come if you live in the OC.

From the parking lot it was easy to follow the signs along to the garden. The garden had areas that represented Woodlands, Mediterranean, Dessert, and a Cultivated Collection. There were walking paths but I still recommend closed toed shoes since it's a bit sandy. They had many benches throughout for resting or handing out and admiring nature. We spent about an hour here, but to be fair I'm not that into nature. I GOT A BUG BITE and it swelled and was super itchy. Sigh. I think someone who super loved nature or wanted to take their time to hang out could take 2-3 admiring all the plant life. My FAVORITE moments here was when we came across wildlife. My favorite were the rabbit, turtle, and crane. It's beautiful. Great spot to get some steps in and absorb some sunlight.

There are trails to access different parts of the lake. Many people circle around the lake or fish recreationally. Signs around the lake continue to prohibit feeding the wildlife. I'm happy with the pictures I took, but I can still improve. The experience was decompressing with sounds of flowing creek water and birds chirping all around the air.

Parking is easy with a large lot right next to the lake, opposite of the lake are some hiking trails if you have more time. It's a nice loop going around with some different areas along the way such as a small creek, reeds near the shore, and some water works that looks like they have been turned off or no longer function. Even in Winter there are a lot of different birds around. My kids loved following and chasing the large pelicans in the lake. You can fish here and there are children's fishing competitions. Just keep in mind to have a permit because when we went there was a police officer checking and ticketing people.
