Review 3/365 Day Challenge…read more My 1st time here for my son's tennis tournament match. He's came here a few times for away games from school. The facility is really clean and big. Have a lot of outdoor tennis courts along w pickle ball courts. The restrooms are also really clean. Has a shower too. In the area near the office entrance, there are a lot of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy a meal or drink under the tree with shades. Have an ice machine open to use. Located off State College street. Lots of parking available. It's on a same property lot with a big park.

After I moved to Anaheim, I decided to get back into it and this lace was my method for doing so. I go to their adult clinics at least once a week. I've tried almost all levels and like them all in their own ways. The live ball sessions are my fave due to the higher level of players. All the coaches are great. Th facility is large and has plenty of courts. I also like renting courts and a machine when I'm solo to practice my shots. I also get my rackets strung here. Really can't say enough good things about the facility. I highly recommend you come here and give tennis a try!

They took over a giant covered outdoor area with a ton of picnic tables, clean and open and perfect for a large party (I assume they had to rent this). I've been to a lot of parks over the years, and most of them don't have comparable event spaces. The one disadvantage was that we were far away from the playground, much to the chagrin of my three-year-old, who kept demanding to leave the party in favor of the play structure he saw in the distance. Liberty Park is just a huge place with several different zones. We even switched parking lots once we got there and figured out where the actual party was, on the Camp Liberty side of the park. The party was really nice, pleasant and relaxing. We had lunch, watched the dohl ceremonies (he grabbed the stethoscope, securing his future as a doctor), took pictures, and hung out with family. Then, because I'm not a monster, I took my boy to the playground. It was a great playground, well maintained and pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Fewer kids, in fact, than teenagers working out and playing loud music nearby. I'm not complaining. In fact, my child was fascinated by their music and got as much entertainment from their speakers as he did from the play structure. I don't live anywhere near Cerritos, but if I did, I'd make good use of Liberty Park. What a lovely neighborhood resource, for both special events and everyday recreation.

This is such a well rounded park with a community center, walking track, pickleball, tennis courts,…read moreplayground and more! Highly recommend these courts for pickleball too because there are a lot of courts, friendly players and it's not too advanced of play. Been coming for the last three months and I see the same players all the time. Only downside of playing pickleball here is that the courts close at like 8pm-8:30pm which is actually atrocious. I forget exactly. When I run to the restroom from the tennis/pickleball area, which looks exactly like your average park restroom. I see people on the playground and other pickleball courts (3 in the middle) (2 on side). The track is crowded too! The parking does get full in the evening so you may need to park on the street.

There are 8 courts and they are all divided, but the center part is open so make sure to call "ball on" when your ball goes into another court. Everyone is super nice there so don't stress when that happens lol.

tl,dr: pretty great place for pickleball…read more Likes: + Clean park. + For the most part, friendly ambience. + Huge parking lot. + Powerful water bottle refill station. Strongest hydration spout I've ever seen at a public park. Water station, use Hydro Cannon! + Thankfully this pball area is located close to the freeway 55. Non-likes: - The restrooms don't have paper towels. Gotta dry your hands on your shirt. Cuz blowdryers add warmth to the moisture that's already on your hands, causing the bacteria to proliferate. - Restroom toilet paper is extra thin. - The middle pickleball courts (2, 3, 6, 7) lack benches, so I suggest bringing your own chairs. - There aren't barriers between consecutive pickleball courts (eg, between 1 and 2), so there're a lot of ball-on interferences. The 10 courts at Tustin School (1.3 mi away) got this part right. - I don't like that the open-play hours are very limited: only 12-4pm everyday. The reservation hours (7am-noon, 4-10pm) are too much of a business model.
