I love the pizza here and we got a lot but I had a terrible experience today. I got a text message from them for a free pizza. Two days later I go in to redeem it because it said I had 14 days to redeem it and I was told they no longer was accepting any of the text they send out. That to me is false advertising and I will not be returning and taking my business to a pizza place that values my business and does not false advertise. read more

I wanted to share our family's experience dining at your restaurant yesterday evening.  This was out first visit there.  We ordered 2 calzones for my wife and I, and a New York Original, half pepperoni and half sausage for our sons. Our calzones arrived very quickly and we were told the pizza would be coming shortly.  We waited a good 10 or 15 minutes and finally decided to eat our food since they were getting quite cold by then.  The calzones had obviously been prepared from par coked items and then had the tops cut open to add the sausage and mushroom we requested.  The calzones were quite dark and the crusts, especially at the end, were quite burned.  I was unable to even cut mine with a knife.  Towards the center of the calzone, the outside was a bit burned, as I noted above while the inside was quite underdone.  It was really not appetizing and I could not even finish it.  Honestly, I was up most of the night with stomach issues from it as well After waiting about 30 minutes total, I went inside to check on my sons' pizza, as it was still not up.  It was just now coming out of the oven.  Since it took so long, I asked for a box.  I was surprised there wasn't a box that it would fit.  While trying to get the pizza in the box, the young man was using his hands on the pizza.  I finally went over to do it myself.  There was an apology, but there was nothing offered to try to make this right. If I'm ordering custom calzones, why would you not simply make them fresh and bring them with the pizza that was ordered?   My wife and I were nearly done with our food before we received our pizza?  Bringing out food for half the party a good 20+ minutes or so before the rest of the food is really not a good choice. Absolutely fabulous pizza, probably the best in the Lake Norman area and the prices are really reasonable. They have quite a selection of different pies that you can order by the slice but honestly, I prefer to get a fresh cooked pie right out of the oven. read more

Excellent Service. Order was ready when they said it would be. Been going to Brooklyn for a number of years but a first time for this store. Afterall, I'm less than 5 minutes from the Cornelius store but that may change. Last three times I've ordered from the Cornelius store, I would call right after noon since they open at noon and would be told it would be about 15 minutes. 15 to 20 minutes later I'm at the store and they have not even started the order yet. Not with this store. Had a small crew in at work on a Sunday and I sprang for Pizza. Called up the store, again a bit after noon and was give the standard 15 minute time. Arrived 15 minutes later, gave my name and they called out, Brooklyn Bridge Pizza and an order of Garlic Knots. Got it right here. Took it back to the plant the guys loved it. Plenty of meat and other topics in a NY Crust with plenty of other goodies as well. The garlic knots and Marinara were great as well. Omg delicious!!! We were wanting pizza and salad for dinner, we picked here for dinner and keeping it small business during the lockdown. The pizza was very good, not too greasy at all, Gooey with cheese and pepperonis, the crust was not thin or thick but perfect. We also got an antipasto salad with a little of everything, salami, pepperoni, ham, Provlone, red onion, pepperoncini, cucumber, olives and tomatoes with a vinaigrette. Came through Morresville NC recently and ordered take out from Brooklyn Boys Pizza. We ordered baked ziti and lasagna with bread. We also got a side of sausage bread ( recommended by other Yelp reviewers) Everything was excellent. The sausage bread is worth ordering and the two meals were excellent. We were late arriving to a pre wedding dinner (due to hurricane Ian) so we got the takeout here. After hearing the Mexican restaurant was not that good for the wedding party, I was glad we were late. Great, foldable pizza! Hubby and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and our large pepperoni pizza was ready in less than 10 minutes. This is a sign of great pizza- cooked in a hot, hot over for a short amount of time. We also tried the cheesesteak - being from Philly our expectations are high. Overall it was great and probably the best cheesesteak in the area. And they had a small but great variety of beers on drafts. My only criticism is I asked to put mayo on the roll and they supplied me with packets , for a cheesesteak hoagie you want mayo on the roll prior to the meat and american cheese, then the cold stuff. In addition don't toast or heat the roll. FYI - One reviewer said the pizza was greasy, good pizza made with good cheese is greasy; I use a paper towel and dab it off. We had a great time checking our Brooklyn Boys - casual atmosphere, reasonable prices, solid selection of beer, good food and nice staff! One of the guys saw I was carrying an infant and ran over to offer to grab a high chair for me. We went on a Friday night and it was busy but not too slammed, either.
