This spot kept popping up, so I checked it out--definitely didn't disappoint. Got a matcha and the big strawberry pastry stuffed with jam and soft cake. And yeah... you need a fork lol. The crunchy chocolate shell is actually really good. Coffee is moderately priced, pastries are a little expensive--but that's NYC + a viral trend. It gets pretty busy during the day with people working, so just a heads up.

The can said sea salt so I'm not sure exactly what was happening. I had 2 glasses of something with bubbles. I believe it was the sweetest they offered without buying a bottle. We ordered the fromages, olives, deviled eggs, and the creme brulee. It was all delicious and fresh. The cheese impressed me most. It was served with several pieces of fresh, crusty bread. The servings of cheese were generous and there was a large portion of cinnamon apples nested in the middle of the board. Yummy is not good enough to describe this. I'm definitely stealing that idea for my next charcuterie board.

I got the salmon and leeks and my friend got the chicken. Delicious. The service was very friendly. Our waitress was a delight. My only issue was the drinks. If you're going to charge $9 for a draft beer, it should be a pint. Charging $9 for a 6 oz glass of beer feels like a crime. Come on Baba Cool!

The store was pretty emptied at the time, and clerk informed about pricing per hour for game play (board and card games). I decided to skip the games, since all I wanted was some food to-go. Got the pastry and a latte drink. The pastry was a bit off; cheese filling was too sour and the pastry just didn't taste that fresh. The matcha latte drink wasn't good neither; very small amount of Matcha flavor, but plenty of milk. Will probably come back for game play only

Their sandwiches seem to be popular which I'm still open to try, but I'd definitely skip on the drinks

It's not great when you charge me over $10 for a small cup of coffee and then kick me out 1.5hrs before closing time on a chilly day.

It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce. The girl working as the barista and cashier was very nice and friendly. She had a nice presence and warm smile, made suggestions, and even gave a stranger free utensils when they popped on to ask.
