    The BP Reuben (Heated)
    Glenn G.

We had a discount offer so stopped by for dinner on a weekday. It's in an odd shopping center with not a lot of parking close by - I suppose there is some further away. My wife enjoyed her Reuben and I had a chicken soup and half sandwich of roast pork. Unfortunately, I found the pork to be dry and rather tasteless. It could have been turkey for all I know. They were quick with the order and also handled some takeout orders. I know this is a chain but I was hoping for just a little more distinctive offerings. It was fine, but that's about all.

Italian sandwich was fine. Nothing special. Chose the white bread (maybe a poor choice on my part) but very 'meh.' Pickles were good. "Giant" sandwich is somewhat true in that the bread is over-sized compared to sliced bread -- but meat was lacking for sure. Friendly greeting upon entering. Clean and tidy...and naturally lit store inside. Nice patio seating. Kind of expensive for a simple sandwich. Not worth another visit.

No way this place isn't 5 stars!! This sammy was not a wammy at all!! This was an absolute jackpot and hidden gem. Tucked away near the NC museum of art, we picked up 3 sandwiches and they were delicious. So filling, good portions, quality produce, and professional staff. It felt like we were in NYC when it was a place people wanted to go. A small deli where you know you won't be disappointed. I already recommended others to check it out. Now that I am writing this review, it's a reminder to go back! Oh, and make sure you don't say no to the pickle on the top.

Friendly and helpful staff. It wasn't busy when I went in. The menu on the board seems a little duplicative to me. I went with the Reuben on the traditional dark rye and a side of pasta salad (not included with your order). Seems a little pricey for a sandwich ($12), but I'd get it again.

I recently visited Brooklyn Pickle in Raleigh and was seriously impressed. This place has been around for over 50 years, and it's easy to see why they've lasted so long. The subs are huge, loaded with fresh ingredients, and packed with flavor in every bite. Nothing feels skimpy here, everything is stacked high and made like they actually care about the quality. The Raleigh location definitely lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the bread is fresh, and the sandwiches come out exactly how you want them. If you're really hungry or just want a solid deli-style sub, this is the place to go. If you're in the area and looking for a delicious, filling meal, I highly recommend checking them out.

The staff was welcoming and pleasant. I enjoyed lunch here on Monday afternoon. I enjoyed the turkey sub with bacon on white submarine bread. Very good. This sub was loaded with turkey deli meat and I added lettuce, tomatoes and banana pepper. Very good! My only suggestion is to mark the subs so that we can tell them apart without having to open them both up. I had onions and peppers and my Mom didn't. It was difficult determining which was which. The paper isn't see through. Besides that, everything was good.

I got introduced to this prize via DOORDASH I had been fight allergies so I ordered chicken soup Italian sub with fix all Ginger Ale. Dragging myself to door after my delivery came to my security cam cell and watch, I was extremely pleased by the smell instantly as opened my door to grab my prompt delivery. The soup was in a quart sized clear container so not only could I smell the aroma of hot fresh soup even with allergies my eyes could see white meat chicken large slices of carrots celery so I dove into broth instantly as I unpacked my goodies. Zing the flavors of broth were just tonic I needed to fight allergies, then my salivary glands got even bigger rush when I grabbed soup spoon and bowl poured this lushish nectar out. Juicy moist chicken al dente corkscrew pasta noodles that had absorbed the layers of broth enriched by carrots, onions, celery, thyme and I think hint of rosemary but I've been using rosemary steam for my allergies so who knows but thus soup was something I would have made for my sons on chilly day or recovering from some illness or kinda thing your Mom would have made for you. Needless to say just that was enough the warmth of soup helped me in so many ways and was catalyst to making the meds work, so it was lights out TAPS! My slumber was over because I was finally really hungry the elixir of chicken soup worked its magic my appetite was back so let's dive into the Italian sub I ordered with ginger ale. Unwrapping my sub many hours later I was pleasantly surprised by their own fresh pickles extreme yummy for my tummy feeling made me dive into this sub. Man it reminded me of being in corner spots in Manhattan true Italian sandwich tastes the bread was just right seasonings on point meat sliced just right not chucks nor thin and all layers of fresh lettuce tomatoes spices were the BADABING! GOTTA GO BUT IM TELLING U THIS WUZ NO FAGAZZI experience so hope my in person experience is even more memorable. buonanotte amici!

First time giving Brooklyn Pickle a try! I've had it on my radar ever since seeing a coworker's lunch arrive via DoorDash a few days prior. I decided to order online to avoid the in-store lunch rush and wait. Easy online ordering through their website. There were so good many options and it was very hard to choose, but I ended up going with the Italian Sub with Italian tomatoes, chips, tea, and jumbo cookie. Although the online ordering system never notified me that my order was ready, I arrived at the "estimated" time and it was all packed up and ready to go. The staff were all very busy...you could tell they were recovering from a big lunch rush...but I was greeted and assisted right away nevertheless. My Sandwich was delicious! It was prepared exactly as ordered with the condiments I ordered piled on just right. The bottled blackberry tea was as expected and the jumbo cookie was SO GOOD. I was very underwhelmed by the chips. They weren't very flavorful...almost tasted stale...but they were not expired, so I'm not sure what happened there...but it was a bummer. All in all...the service and food were great and I will definitely be back, when I'm in the area.

First time trying this place out through Offline and they were kind of a disappointment. It definitely wasn't better than Jersey Mike's and it was like a step above Jimmy John's. The sandwich maker (lady) didn't practice good cleaning hygiene when prepping my sandwich and also the sandwich itself was pretty bland. It was a lot of workers in there at 2:15 on Monday with barely any customers. It's just not a sandwich place I would prefer to go to.

Half Italian sub was very tasty. I recommend!

So many good things to say. The portions are HUGE! The food was so TASTY! There are some fun sides. Everyone in my group loved their sandwiches. The only small critique I'd have is that I can't have leftovers because of the fact the bread gets a little soggy from the sauces, toppings etc.

So good! I got the BP special and it was great. The whole sandwiches are huge almost like 2 sandwiches. The cashier who took my order was also very nice!

Tried for the first time. It's a smallish shop, but there are a few tables & counter spaces. The woman who made my sandwich was friendly and quick. I thought $8.75 was high for just half a sandwich, but it was absolutely stuffed! Bread was lovely and soft, corned beef was fantastic, not salty or wet like some deli food! And the pickle - YUM! I will go out of my way to visit more often.

Another new chain for the Triangle, Brooklyn Pickle hails from Syracuse NY and is serving up fresh sandwiches, salads, and other deli items. The location on Lake Boone Trail is in the busy Marketplace at Lake Boone so parking may be tough! Inside, the space is long and narrow with an extended counter where your sandwich is made. The usual pastrami, corned beef, chicken salads are on the menu along with subs. The sandwiches I tried were super fresh with a nice sturdy bread that can stand up to all the fillings in the over-stuffed sandwiches. Whole sandwiches are in the $12 to $15 range bare (plus pickles) which is fine for the quality and portion size. So rock on Brooklyn Pickle! Love having another deli option in the Oak City...

We ordered the grape leaves, baklava, namoora and tabbouli. I am Lebanese and these are staples in our home. The grape leaves were extremely dry and tough. The rice was very undercooked and the leaves themselves were so dry and tough we could barely chew through them. We ordered 12 and thought maybe it was a fluke but all 12 were completely inedible and we threw them out immediately. The baklava was okay, nothing to write home about. Very simple syrup forward and you couldn't taste much else (we ordered the walnut). The namoora was stale. Very dry. Namoora should melt in your mouth with with a slight chew. This was again, tough and stale. We threw those out as well. Lastly, our favorite salad, tabbouli. The lemon taste was nonexistent. The parsley wasn't chopped fine as Tabbouli should be. It was a watery mess. Overall, we won't be back. We spent over $75 on 4 items and left feeling hungry and bamboozled. There are other Lebanese food spots to visit in the Raleigh area, I will stick to those. Please do better when representing Lebanese cuisine. 15 workers behind the counter can seem like you're doing something right but in the end, it all comes down to the freshness and authenticity of what you are claiming to serve.
