The food punches way above its price point with quality ingredients, generous portions, and everything I've had has been dialed in. I ordered from Oakwood Deli for the first time via Postmates and it was pretty tasty! I've been looking for a new place that delivers besides Bruegger's because my absolute favorite spot doesn't decline to our area. I'm also from NYC and know a good bagel. I ordered a build your own bagel with egg whites, bacon, and American cheese. I also added a side of breakfast potatoes that was served with peppers and onions. The bagel was pretty good. It was definitely more of a New York style than Bruegger's. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and flavorful. The bagel was a little bit soft and could've been more toasted, but still very good. I would surely order from here again and glad I found it. Looking forward to trying some other menu options! read more

Where do I even begin? This place is amazing! I will DEFINITELY be back! There was so much to choose from, I had a tough time deciding on what to get. The food was so good that I didn't even take pictures lol. I honestly forgot! After staring at the menu for over 5 minutes, I decided on the chicken nachos - I know. Weird for a deli, right? But Mexican food is my favorite so it's my go-to lol. These nachos were so good you'd think they came from a Mexican restaurant. Before I got there, I really thought I was gonna try the Reuben, but when I saw the Mexican portion of the menu I changed my mind lol. Seriously though, any sandwich or salad you could think of, they've probably got it. They also have a coffee and juice bar! Plenty of desserts as well! The staff were very friendly and I did not feel rushed at all. There's not much room for seating, but there is some. I think most people just take their food to go from here. Got a hidden gem here - I'm so impressed by the selection, cleanliness, organization, customer service, yadda, yadda, yadda!! Salads, sandwiches, taco and breakfast are all waiting ( well, they did run out of biscuits @ 4pm, but it says all day....) I've been twice and gotten the burger (excellent) and a fried chicken wrap the second time. Both times I couldn't turn down their excellent espresso drinks. I love consistency in a venue and this place HAS IT! I'll be recommending out of towners in need of a deli fix, right here! Parking is small, due to the patio area, but street parking was available both times, without a meter, residential or time restraint. read more

Great food at a great price. I ordered The Legend a roast beef sandwich with cheddar cheese, bbq sauce and onion. It was served hot and fresh. Very tasty. Only $11. Way better than anything you'd get at a chain sandwich shop. Served with a dill pickle spear. 2 sandwiches, 2 beverages and an order of fries for about $37 including tip. Inside is clean and staff is friendly. Only negative would be the lack of parking. We were there around 2 in the afternoon and the place had a steady stream of customers. They also serve all day breakfast, burgers and tacos/burritos as well as custom beverages. Give them a try. read more

I liked this new deli but it is expensive. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the turkey avocado sandwich with a side of of potato salad and a slice of salted caramel vanilla cake. I washed it down with a sprite then saw that they had fresh squeezed lemonade so I also purchased one of those. The sandwiches are huge, I do wish that they offered a half sandwich option with a side. read more

Also, too much going on with the menu- tacos/ceviche are not needed in a deli that also has hot and cold sandwiches, salad bar, burgers, and coffee and juice bar. The Italian sub had a weird sauce- traditional is oil and vinegar, and shouldn't have a creamy sauce. If you're just looking for a sandwich it's fine. We stopped in for sandwiches to go, we got the steak sandwich and hot cappy. I do however wish the hot cappy had hot peppers on it, would have made it a perfect! Too pricey for simple sandwiches that do not have much flavor. I ordered the turkey avocado and the cheese was sooo stale, like week old stale. To me, that's a serious management issue. Also, the setup for the line is confusing...people ignore the sign and just cut in front to the cash register. There could be a little better communication and management of guests. read more
