I went in to develop two film rolls from 2018, she said the photos would come out a bit faded, but I don't mind. I paid a total of $24 to develop both rolls and have them sent to my email. She said I should be getting my photos by next week through a link called WeTransfer. *Update*: I received my photos 8 days later. The WeTransfer links says I have a month until the links expire to save my photos. Below I added two of my developed photos.

So when it was…read moretime to renew my passport I decided to go to the famous Eliz Digital to get the best possible photo of myself. I discovered them in a Gothamist article where people praised at how professional looking the photos were. I figured that this would be my best shot at not looking at a photo that I hate for the next 10 years. If you're remotely photogenic then your photo will probably look like a professional head shot. If you're like me you will accept that your eyes look like Cash Patel's because you can't see without your glasses. The photographer took a couple of photos to choose from. I deferred to her judgement about which one was best. Paid cash since it's cash only. I opted for the digital photo since I was renewing my passport online. My photo was emailed the next day. I'm a very satisfied customer even though I have crazy eyes.

This family-owned business is hands down the best film photo lab in NYC. I've been coming here for…read moreover five years to have my film developed and scanned, and every visit has been consistently excellent. From the moment I walk in the door, I feel genuinely welcomed. On my most recent visit, I had the chance to speak with the owner, Nisha, who couldn't have been kinder or more warm. She even surprised me with a delicious bottle of wine as a thank-you for being a long-time customer, which honestly says everything about how much they value the people who support them. Their turnaround time is always fast, and I love that they use WeTransfer to deliver scans directly to my email. The quality of their work is remarkable, and I truly can't imagine trusting my film to any other lab. Thank you, Bleeker Digital Solutions, and congratulations on 26 years in business. Well deserved.

His tone was demanding, and I felt spoken down to rather than treated respectfully as a customer. After doing some research, I learned he has owned this business for 38 years, which made the lack of professionalism even more surprising. The pricing also raised concerns. The costs were very high, and the math did not seem to add up. It felt as though some customers are being overcharged. I also noticed inconsistent service--one individual regularly drops off large amounts of film and receives it almost immediately, while others wait an excessive amount of time, even when their orders appear to be ready. That said, the staff members working here are clearly hardworking, and the cashier was kind and respectful. I appreciate the effort of the employees and do not fault them. While this place benefits from its tourist location and social media attention, my personal experience did not reflect the hype. With improved professionalism, fair pricing, and more consistent turnaround times, this business could be much better. As it stands, I would rate it 2/5.

They took the time to help us find exactly what we needed, even though our purchase wasn't a large one. They treated us with the same level of care and attention as any other customer, and their kindness, patience, and professionalism truly stood out. What impressed me most was that they went above and beyond by helping me fix the settings on my camera after I had accidentally changed them. They didn't have to do that, but they took the time to make sure everything was working properly so I could enjoy my trip and capture great memories. Their customer service was outstanding, and they truly saved the day for us. Thanks to their help, our New York trip was so much less stressful. It's rare to find people who genuinely care about helping customers, and Shasha and Fernando are a perfect example of that. Thank you both for your exceptional service. Highly recommended!

Was cussing just to say "bad" words which doesn't bother me but come on really keep it somewhat professional. Then the real problem, I simply wanted to get some screws replaced that are corroded or get an idea of the price. Nope told no you don't need to replace them and just wait until it gets worse before fixing a small problem to solve a bigger one down the road. Legit just looked at it and said it's only corrosion on the screw head, which I'm not sure how you can tell there is not corrosion on the body without removing the screw. Forgetting the fact that once the chemical process starts it doesn't stop and will continue to get worse. I also had to wait so I got to hear also how he interacted with other customers and safe to say it was not great especially the people in front of me who seems new to photography. Would be far better off just going to B&H if you're new or looking for gear.

It feels a bit like a cousin of B&H with a slightly different personality and focus, but the same strong sense of expertise and professionalism. The store is large but not overwhelming, well-organized, and clearly oriented toward photography and content creation, though it also has dedicated sections for musical instruments and scuba gear that make the place feel unique. The scuba area is a little unexpected at first, but I suppose people who love gadgets and gear often overlap with that world as well. I honestly haven't purchased much here over the years aside from a few items, though I definitely bought a PlayStation controller here during COVID. A lot of the appeal for me was simply walking around, learning about new products, and talking with staff who actually know what they're discussing. You really get the sense that the employees are enthusiasts and specialists, not just salespeople. Their pricing also feels very competitive, with an emphasis on staying current and cutting-edge while still maintaining a "money well spent" mentality around sales and service. The atmosphere is calm and professional, and while the store is smaller than B&H or Abt, it's still an excellent size. If you're downtown or near Union Square, it's also much more convenient than heading all the way to the Penn Station area. Highly recommend for anyone into electronics, photography, audio gear, or just technology in general.
