I needed a Brazilian, but didn't have time to get to my regular place in FiDi, so I thought I'd give this place a try, since it was close by. It was the worst Brazilian I've ever had. There were 2 wax specialists, and they kept walking in and out of client's rooms to borrow products. But they never knocked, they just came and went whenever they needed. This happened twice to me when I was on the table, and it was such an invasion of privacy. I watched it happen at least 10 times while I was waiting (for over 30 minutes)! The woman giving my wax came out to the lobby and said "Who's up next for pain" WHAAAA!?!?! Why would you say that?? I thought she was just joking, but I swear it was so much more painful of a Brazilian than a Brazilian ever needs to be. She ripped every strip off so nonchalantly. There are ways that you can stretch the skin when you're ripping, and apply pressure after you pull up the strip that can help relieve the pain. She did NONE of this! She pulled every strip so harshly it was ridiculous. It was like she was ripping a page out of a notebook. And even that could have been more pleasant. I asked for her to leave some hair at the top. When she was done, I asked her for a mirror to see the final results. What she'd left wasn't at all what I asked for, but after all that pain, I decided just to leave it. When I got home, I realized that the area she left was super crooked / off center, and she was just going to let me leave like that if I hadn't asked for the mirror. I'll never ever come here again. I got a Brazilian wax done and my eyebrows waxed and I love it! Jyoti was super friendly and very thorough. This was much less painful and smoother than other Brazilians I've had. I also like that there is a loyalty card you get. The prices are also reasonable. Make sure you carry cash just in case the card machine doesn't work, though. This place is unprofessional so don't waste your time or money. I called for an appointment I was told I could just walk over. I asked more than one time was she sure and she stated it's 100% fine. I said it's going to take me about 30 mins, no worries she replied. I get there exactly 30 minutes later and guess what? They can not see me! I showed her my receipts of calling and she said sorry after 5 we do not except walk in's. I said I literally just called and spoke to someone, she says it's her first day. What does that have to do with me? The salon is brand new and it was absolutely empty inside. I'm not sure why she couldn't see me because it also stages online the salon closes at 8:30pm! Everyone says "Go to Sweetie" and I can see why! Went in for a Brazilian and Sweetie got my girl together. She's so thorough and literally was done in 10 minutes. Kept conversation going to distract me from the pain, and made me feel so comfortable. My wax begin like any normal wax.... I was on my phone to distract me from the pain that I've grown accustom to. Basically scrolling social media while Mona began. She asked a few time if I was ok after tearing away strips which is pretty customary. I said yes and she continued. Then at one point she was pulling a strip and stopped before removing it. This caused me to flinch nd I asked her why she stopped. Knowing her delay was gonna cause me more pain cause the strip still had to come off. She then called sami into the room and spoke in another language. Sami started to put on gloves and then told me that Mona informed her I was in a lot of pain. I explained to Sami that I was fine and familiar with waxing also I never complaint. Sami then leaves the room after saying something in another language. Mona then proceeds to tear away the strip and apply a lot of baby powder. I felt a sting which immediately alarmed me and asked why was I burning. She had a look of concern yet no response. I then asked for Sami to come back in the room. I used my cell phone to take a picture of my vagina and immediately started to cry at what I saw. A huge gash was on the inside of my lip. I also had dried wax and a ridiculous amount of powder. Sami said she'd compete my waxing free of charge as if that just makes it all better. Smh Thee most traumatizing waxing experience of my life!!! The owner Sami attempted to better the experience by finishing up and she also offered several apologies; however I was too far into anger and sadness! I have been serviced 6 times at this facility. My initial treatment was completed by a young lady named Bajwa. She provided stellar service! Not only did she take the time to clean her hands in front of me prior to servicing me, she also cleaned my chin prior to waxing. Unfortunately, this would be the first and only time I would receive her service. Each time I returned and asked for her l was told she was not in. Today l decided to ask does she still work at this location and was told she no longer works here. The technician proceeds to begin servicing me and attempted to service me without cleaning her hands or my chin prior to waxing. I inform her she needs to clean her hands and my chin prior to service and she becomes argumentative and make excuses why she could not clean my face. I display my frequent visitor card and advised her everyone has cleaned their hands and my chin prior to servicing me. At that moment I asked if there was someone else available and she said no. I advised her l would be taking my business elsewhere. I came here for an eyebrow and over lip wax. The owner wanted to give me a full facial. I insisted that's not what I wanted, the owner and assistant spoke in front of me in their native language; they began the waxing around the area not knowing they both had agreed to a full facial. Never had a facial. I was in pain this sent me to a dermatologist. Doctor said their solutions used on my skin was not safe for my skin. The owner never tested my skin. I will never go back there . I was recommended by my cousin after complaining about going all the way to Williamsburg for a wax, which by the way would never be "fully clean." The wax is done by owner Meenu. When I got there, it wasn't a long wait. I can tell she's popular because of the amount of people who came in and was shocked she moved to a new location as they could not find her. The owner acts as if she's in a rush & extremely insensitive, don't try to slightly cool the wax & ripping the strips extremely fast. They offer a Groupon that not even the owner recommends. Purchase the Groupon, arrive for service and the owner tells you how bad the wax is that is provided with that service. Meena was sweet and friendly and the place was clean, but she didn't seem happy that I came in with a groupon. She kept asking me why I wouldn't get my bikini done as she was waxing my legs and I eventually relented. The bikini wax was okay (a steal for organic wax and clean - no double dipping), but half of my legs had hair still when I left. I ended up needing to do my legs again at home :( Maybe leg waxes aren't their specialty, but I was disappointed. If you're doing Brazilian waxes this might be a better place to go, but check first if they'll match Groupon prices in store. read more

I asked for a partial Brazilian and the woman took it on herself to give me a full one even after I looked up and said that is too much. She said "I thought you were afraid." Which is NOT what I said! I called in her supervisor who said the customer is always right....she doesn't like the baby look. This conversation happening while I'm still on the table in a vulnerable position if you know what I mean. The only way to fix it was to make both sides mirror, but I was left with what looked a balding hairline because the sides and back were left. Both women also double dipped and my skin has broken out terribly afterwards. I would never go here a again and I advise you to do the same.
