Quiet cozy atmosphere with beautiful Italian music in the backround

The fact that I have been a Berkshire country resident the majority of my life and I just went for the first time the other day blows my mind! Every single thing we got was incredible! i have never liked tiramisu and now im obsessed! but only theirs!!! Not only is the food wonderful but they are so nice! you feel like family immediately. They take tremendous pride in their customer service and the quality of their food. I could taste the quality in everything we tried. Hands down best in berkshire county and beyond. It's small but cozy. My husband and I are now obsessed! I'm not sure I'll ever cook again!

This little gem is amazing. We are from Texas and are in Pittsfield because of a death in the family. We had a really tough day and called to see if they were open. Frank and his wife invited us in and fed us a spectacular meal. The food is the best authentic Italian we've eaten. The fresh made pasta and sausage sauce are beyond amazing. The good food and thoughtful service made a bad day good. We are grateful.

I had the burrata and the sausage grinder and it was amazing. Good portion sizes, it will definitely fill you up. The staff was wonderful, even let us sample some amaretto gelato (which was also amazing). They also educated us on their dinner menu, which I also want to try ASAP. The only negative was the hours are a little weird.. they don't have a set schedule, you have to call and see if they're open. Other than that this is a must try, one of the best lunch spots in Berkshire County.

Regarding the food; there were 5 of us dining and everyone agreed that their dinners were great. Personally I had the MIXTO vegetarian thin crust pizza whic I really enjoyed. Walking through the restaurant it was very dark - I understand wanting a romantic ambience but this was too dark. We opted to sit outdoors which was lovely - a beautiful evening. Our server was very nice but there was some confusion about our beer order. My husband told her what he wanted, but then told her he wanted it with his meal. She said it was ordered already (goes directly from her portal to the bartender) so it is probably on the bar waiting for her. She brought it to us right away because she didn't want it to get warm on the bar, but then it sat outside and got warm while we waited an extraordinarily long time for our meal. I know that the website says everything is made to order and takes a while but this seemed like way too long. Then when it arrived the lasagne that my husband had was very dark on top as if it was burned - like it had been reheated under a burner. My eggplant lasagne was delicious. No complaints there. And our Siberatas salad was very good. I would like to go back and give it another try since everyone else seems to have a good experience.

We've been coming here for more than 13 years, and every time we visit the Berkshires, this…read morerestaurant is always a must-stop for us. Even after trying many other restaurants in the area over the years, this has remained one of our most reliable favorites. Tonight, we were seated at a cozy booth in the back, which was much quieter and more relaxing away from the vibrant bar area in the front. We each ordered a cocktail. Hubby had the Berry Tootsie and enjoyed it very much, while I ordered the Lavender Lemon Drop. My cocktail was light, refreshing, citrusy, and very easy to enjoy. Both cocktails were generously poured and filled right to the brim. For our mains, I ordered the full-size Linguine Zuppa di Pesce, while hubby had the Chicken Parmigiana with a side of Brussels sprouts. My pasta was hearty, flavorful, and generously loaded with fresh seafood. Every bite felt comforting and satisfying without being overly heavy. The Chicken Parm was tender inside and topped with a flavorful tomato sauce and perfectly melted cheese. It was classic Italian comfort food done very well. Despite already having enough leftover pasta to take back to the resort, I still could not pass up the mango gelato for dessert. It was absolutely delicious -- light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, making for a wonderful ending to the meal. The hospitality was superb. Tiffin, our server, was wonderful throughout the evening. She was gracious, engaging, and attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed with her warm smile and thoughtful service from start to finish. After all these years, this is still a restaurant we can always count on for a wonderful meal.

The restaurant ambiance is a traditional nice dark wood and brass trim environment. We decided to order their grilled Halibut special over potato gnocchi. Very Delicious. As for their service, that was the weak point of the meal. Our server was not very friendly and customer driven. When we noticed other tables being taken care of more professionally, an example was when we asked for some EVOO for our bread and the server brings us an oil/vinegar rack used for salads. Other tables were given their special EVOO garlic upgrade. Overall the food was prepared perfectly by their kitchen culinary staff. Thank you. They do need to work with this one server because she was not their shining star.

Warm beautiful dining room with a wood burning fireplace, with a fire going, on a chilly night. Ann, our server was perfect. Perfect timing and flow, gave us recommendations and bussed empty glasses and plates every pass. They start you off with warm fresh Italian bread and a bean salad. Both were tasty and they also said popovers are coming. Another staff appeared with a piping hot fresh baked basket of popovers and gave us each one. It didn't even need butter. Amazing. It felt like being in a bakery in Italy or Europe. Next, our apps and salads arrived. The calamari was tasty, as was the mushroom beignets. I wasn't used to this style of mushroom caps but boy were they delicious. The salad was tasty and came with fresh homemade bread bits as croutons. Everyone at the table enjoyed the apps, the popovers, and our entree. The specials list and deserts sounded wonderful but it was just so much food, we were full. A+ all around and I will be going back soon.

The food is to die for- we ordered the fried burrata for an appetizer, and lasagna for entree. Lovely place and service is prompt and everyone is so nice. We also asked the bartender to make an elderflower spritz and it turned out delicious!

If this were a service rating alone I would give it 5 stars. Our waitress was very nice, prompt…read moreand attentive. Ambience was also very nice. Seating a bit tight but attractive and clean. Our food fell on it's face. We went based on a personal recommendation and backed by YELP reviews. This was my first big disappointment on YELP. We ordered bruschetta and meatballs for apps. Bruschetta was a bit too charred but ok. Meatballs arrived.... Gray balls sitting on ricotta and oil with an herb and shallot crumble. Meatballs were meh and topping was bitter like burnt garlic and onion. Table bread, delicious. Beverages, delicious. Entrees we were split 50/50. Eggplant parm was very tasty and red sauce tasted fresh and well seasoned. My chicken marsala with creamy polenta was very disappointing. Instead of marsala forward it tasted of mushroom gravy, chicken dry with hard edges and polenta you could cut and chase chunks around the plate. Not a bit like polenta should be. Dessert was warm ricotta cake with gelato. Gelato was essential to this dessert as the lemon sauce was so intensely tart and sour it was near inedible without some buffering by the gelato. Value wise it would have been a fairly pricey meal by our standards even if the food was good. However price point is more palatable when the food is.
