I'm new to the area and heard great things about this place, so I decided to try it out. The food was a bit of a mixed experience for me. I ordered over the phone, and the person who answered asked if she could put me on hold and clicked over before I could even respond. Sarah took my order, but her energy felt very short both on the phone and in person. When I arrived, she was on her phone and didn't greet me, which isn't the best first impression for a new customer. Now the food: the pizza was delicious -- honestly amazing. The crust was perfect and full of flavor. The calamari, on the other hand, was disappointing. The breading had a good texture but no flavor, and the calamari itself was very rubbery. Personally, I'd skip the calamari, but I'd definitely come back for the pizza. read more

Stopped in for sit down dinner on Tuesday, 4/16/25 around 5pm. Food was actually very good! 7 of us (4 adults, 3 kids). came in and ordered entrees, pie of pizza, hero's, etc. All this food was very good considering we are from NYC where Italian food is top notch. The restaurant itself seems clean and very spacious, The issue we all had was the very unfriendly young lady working the counter. She seemed VERY annoyed with anything we asked. It wasn't just me, we all felt that way. I am not the complaining type but she doesn't want to be there, OR is just not meant to work with people. I asked her where to put the dirty dishes and she looked so annoyed with my asking, very bizarre. When she brought our food, she was so cold and never said a word. When I asked for a container when we were done, I said please, thank you, and she never said a word. My stepson also went up to ask for something and she was annoyed. He told me on his own, "what's that girls problem?" Anyway, I'm sure the owner works very hard to keep this business going and he/she deserves a better counter girl because you will lose customers with employees with attitudes like this. We were so polite and friendly to the point we felt like idiots when we left. We even cleaned our own tables off when we were done. So we don't get it. A first time visitor from nearly Troy, NY and I will never return to this location. A large deluxe pizza, bottled water and a soft drink came to over $30 without tip. And while it was good, it was FAR from notable. The service was totally disinterested, and the place is in a dying shopping center. Which is fitting, as the atmosphere was like a morgue, with the fit and finish of a place from the early 1970's. Folks, far too many Yelp reviewers are easy marks. Not me. Passing thru town during COVID19, this was one of the only places in Pittsfield that we could grab a slice. Found them on YELP. Thank goodness we did because it was a nice, clean spot in a little shopping plaza. We're from NY so maybe a little bias, but the pizza was definitely good. I liked the huge slices. I'm used to slice specials being from NY, but they didn't have any. It didn't matter though because the slices were reasonably priced. Paid about $6+ for two HUGE cheese slices. This will definitely be one of our go-to oizza spots when we are in the area. read more

We shared an eggplant parmigiana grinder and a slice of pizza. Both were great . Best eggplant sub we have ever had! fab roll, sauce, and cooked eggplant. We were able to eat in the restaurant, tables far apart and overall cleanliness in restaurant great. The decor in shades of brown rather bland but nice. I come up with the assumption that this business doesn't care about deliveries and they only put effort into in-store order ordered Vivaldi's last night .... since moving to Pittsfield from Boston it would be my fourth time eating at this establishment! The first time was OK not the greatest I got a plain cheese pizza rate 3.5 Second time was disgusting I got two subs the chicken fingers in my sub were very fatty and couldn't be chewed ... they came back picked it up and brought me a new sub and I got an Italian this time instead and that was even worse than the chicken finger...: the meat was jus horrible but I'll take into account that it was late in the end of the night perhaps they didn't wanna open anything new from my little old sub! My wife's rap was just terrible and just all in all the experience was just bad bad we didn't eat it at all The guy said he would give me a credit to use next time I want to order after 10 minutes of discussion and him originally being hesitant to do anything for me... The stipulation would be I would have to come pick it up because he's not going to deliver to me a free order I agreed because I didn't have much of a choice! I waited a good two months before deciding to use the credit and give them another shot so two weeks ago I went and got a chicken Parm calzone mind you In Boston that is a very popular choice and I figured how could they go wrong with a chicken Parm calzone granted when I got the sub before the chicken was not the greatest but like I said it was the end of the night so I took that into account and ordered a calzone earlier in the night .... the calzone was delicious and truly great!! The manager was super nice and I take back everything I have my terrible experience the first two times and enjoyed myself with such a great tasty calzone my only problem was they don't make chicken Parm calzone is out here in fact they never even heard of it told me that they could put the sauce on the side which was fine I really didn't care too much for it just found it strange that no one gets it out here but neither here or there we were back in business with each other and I was appreciative so now last night I ordered and got the same thing and let me just tell you it was like a whole new place made this calzone it was truly disgusting and worse than all of my experiences and I'm not sure if it was because The last time I got the calzone the manager himself made it for me and he wanted to make sure there was no issues I hate to be that guy that always has a problem but this was legitimately a problem the calzone had way too much cheese I mean there was so much cheese that it was nauseating i'm going to post a picture of it it's fine to have extra cheese if I requested it but I wanted a plain chicken Parm calzone and since you guys don't have chicken Parm on the menu I want to just chicken and cheese and sauce on the side like I was told Instead of calling and making a complaint again I'd rather just not even deal with them anymore I'm not gonna go through the wall embarrassment of coming in and getting a credit If you are the owner or manager and you see this I think you should really get things together with your employees because the non care to customers is awful I can Boston are used to get takeout two times a week due to work not having time to cook for my kids so you're losing a lot of business because I don't like to go to a bunch of different places and I like to stick with one business if you'd like my business back and you see this maybe you can contact me and see if we can resolve this someway otherwise I give up as far as the calzone I'm not going to eat it I'm just going to throw in the trash read more

Went here because nothing was really open because of the Labor Day holiday. We ordered a pizza, wing, combo. It took an hour to be delivered after paying like $5 for a delivery fee. It was all luke-warm. The pizza wasn't great, wouldn't order it again. The wings seemed like good quality meat, but the sauce was unmemorable. The garlic bread was not good. Loyal customer very disappointed in shabby service. Ordered two small pizzas for take-out 5/27/21. One was made incorrectly -- sausage instead of mushrooms on what was meant to be an all-veggie pizza for non-meat eaters. I opened the box at the car, and took the pizza right back inside. The staff confirmed that the pizza in the box DID NOT MATCH the order ticket: "mushroom, onion, green pepper." Their solution? They re-made the veggie pizza. Okay, fine. Meanwhile, the other pizza was kept warm (but was getting "old") on top of the oven. Now, I understand that people lie all the time about "You made the wrong thing!" But in this case, they acknowledged their own error! I asked if that was all they would do when the mistake was their own. "Yes," they said, "Sorry." And shrugged. (Did I mention that I always tip the counter staff for take-out? 10% -plus is my standard. Just to underscore that I try to treat employees right.) So, Vivaldi's made an error -- understandable. But, in the end, I walked out twenty minutes late, with one "corrected" pizza and one not-quite-fresh pizza. That was their "solution." They didn't offer me a two- or three-dollars-off coupon for my next visit. They didn't offer a discount on this order. They didn't send me home with the "mistake" pizza (which the meat lovers in the house WOULD have eventually eaten). They didn't even ask if I might like a drink while I was waiting the twenty minutes for the "corrected" pizza to cook. Just a shrug and a perfunctory "Sorry." Very shabby service. For that, I drove 30 minutes from Williamstown to Pittsfield. But probably not again. read more

Love this place! The pizza is awesome and we have a lot of pizza places in Pittsfield to choose from. They have a very good menu with lots to choose from and everything my friends and I have tried has been quite delicious. Friendly people work there and they always have wonderful service. Recently I tried what they call a 'meatball grinder' from Vivaldi's Pizzeria. Feeling hungry, I forced myself to attempt to eat it. The flavor of the 'meatballs' was so terrible that I could barely half of it. Not to mention that it was very dry. Overall, it was terrible. I can't vouch for any other selections on the menu, but if my grinder is any indication I wouldn't recommend Vivaldi's. read more

We have ordered from Vivaldi's for several year's with no complaints. The last several we have had to wait up to 2 hrs for our delivery, I wouldn't have minded if we were told so. 2 nights ago the delivery was supposed to be here within 45 minutes . After waiting an hour and a half I called, the woman said 10 more minutes, 10 minutes go by I call she said another 10 minutes. 2 hours later our food arrived. My family didn't want me to tip the driver but I did anyway. I wasn't blaming him just trying to explain i would no longer be a customer. I wish I didn't give him a $10 tip, I was trying nicely why I wouldn't be a customer and he gave me a attitude. Here are pictures of our pizza, one pizza was LITERALLY burnt to a crisp. We were regular customers before the pandemic. Decided to opt for delivery this time. Three large pizzas and two Greek dalads. I don't know what happened to their pizza dough or if they have decided to purchase forozen commercial dough. The bottom of the crust had the distinctive marks of coming out of a box, patterned bottom and perfectly round shape, all the taste and texture of cardboard. Toppings were sparse and the whole thing lacked seasoning. The "Greek" salad was a huge chunk of iceberg lettuce, some sliced black olives as might have come from the pizza topping bin, a single bit of pale pink tomato [it's tomato season, run up the street to Jaeske's and buy some decent ones] and a single grape leaf. Sorry, we won't be coming back even after this pandemic is over. read more

We were staying at Jiminy Peak a few weeks ago with about 20 family members and wanted a place who would deliver a big order. They cautioned us the food might be cold since they are 25 mins away but we were fine with that as they offered the widest variety in their menu and had good reviews previously. We were told our $150+ order would arrive within an hour and the drive showed up at like minute 58...great timing! He made sure we had everything we ordered and it took three of us to carry everything to our rental house. The food was all hot, quality was great and we got everything we ordered as requested. You never know what you're getting into when you're on vacation with a big group and don't have "your" places to order from, but these guys were great and I'd recommend them to anyone in the area! read more

Seem to think they are the only pizza joint in town. I had a $1 off coupon for Vivaldi's from the phone book (I know I know, I'm dating myself) so called and ordered a pizza to pick up. I then got a call back from a woman at Vivaldi's who told me her boss would not honor the coupon. When I asked why she just said, I don't know but he won't honor it. The coupon was still valid and was merely $1 off. Not a very friendly customer experience which I value above most things so I canceled my pizza and ordered from another place. They don't seem to care about losing customers but they certainly lost my family and me. read more

I had a couple of slices of pizza here a while back. 2 slices were like a small pizza. Pizza was okay, but, my only gripe with these guys, is they advertise NY Style pizza. Unless NY Style definition is the way they cut it; their slices are nowhere near the same recipe as the kind of pizza slices you get in NYC. There isn't a pizza parlor in Western Ma. that has yet made pizza like NYC; that I've found. And I question if they ever have been out of Berkshire County, to know the difference. read more

I don't know who does the hiring at the Pittsfield, MA location, but they need to reconsider who they have working there. I called to place an order and the man who answered the phone kept yelling (yes, yelling) into the phone that he couldn't understand me - it probably didn't help that he kept interrupting before I could even say three words. Pies are outstanding! I've ordered every other Friday from there. In my opinion, no where else compares!

The portion size is very good, most of the time there are leftovers for the next day! One thing to keep in mind when ordering is that they do not pit their olives in the salads. Their pasta dishes are very good, and one is enough to feed two people. read more
