This was an incredible experience here at Brook brothers. I've been shopping there for years and needed an emergency suit for a musical performance. Long story short, Michael the salesman helped me pick out two suits at an incredible deal. Additionally, they help me find matching shirt and bowtie. The suits fit amazing but needed slight tailoring. Because I was in an extreme rush they agreed to finish the tailoring as soon as possible. It was all done and bagged up for me in 30 minutes while I went and grabbed food. I can't stress enough how awesome it was working with the manager and Michael salesman. I will have these suits for years thanks guys!! Sidenote, I came in quite flustered and they're confidence and calmness helped to make the whole process go very smooth and quickly. Horrible experience here recently. The salesperson was rude and unhelpful. I do not like this store.

"Just browsing" means I am not interested in talking with a salesperson. Unfortunately the sales person at BB at the Westchester responded to my statement with "oh, well let me help you with that..." proceeds to tell me every sale in the store while following me all the way to the back of the store. "Can I help you find anything specific?" "Just looking" "Well let me help you" Was actually looking to purchase holiday gifts, but prefer to shop on my own. Immediately left the store due to how uncomfortable the salesman made me feel. read more

Great service, selection allows for mix and match between suit jacket and pants. Value at this store is historically great.

The store looks high end and it's quite large in the shopping mall. The service is terrible. I went there for returns and the associates are passive aggressive. They made excuses to not refund to my credit card and tried to give me store credit. At the end, it turns out I could just manually enter my credit card information if I don't have the original credit card with me. This information was not shared the first 10 minutes I talked to them. When I asked Harold if I can speak to a manager and he answered he is the manager. And later on, the real store manager Eric showed up and still not willing to help me. When I asked him who's the manager, he answered he is. I told him Harold claimed to be the manager. Eric said Harold is a manager too. I said, how can one store has two managers on duty. He said, Harold is an assistant manager. I told him, then he's not a manager. Just like vice president is not a president. Simple as that. read more

Brooks Brothers - Two staffs I had a difficult time deal with - Men's Clothing Near Me - White Plains, New York

I've been shopping at BB for the past 23-25 years and it all came to an end on Friday October 4, 2025. I had a 3 piece suit made to order at Brooks Brother in White Plains at the Westchester Mall. It was the worst experience. For the past years I have had suits custom made to order from other places. The other places were professional and they knew what they were doing. At BB I wasn't able to pick up my suit until my 4th visit. BB did a LOUSY job with my measurements! My first day was measurement day. Three weeks later was my second visit to pick up the suit. The suit didn't fit. The pants, the vest and the jacket were VERY tight. They said that they would alter the suit to my satisfaction. Two days later was my 3rd visit. The pants and the vest were 90% better, but the jacket was still VERY tight as if they didn't alter it at all! They ordered me a new jacket from CHINA. Yes, BB is not made in America anymore. Still expensive but cheaper quality. My 4th visit the jacket fit better but the 3 piece suit was no different as if I had bought a suit off of the rack and then have it altered. Also, when I had called to ask when will my suit be completed for pick some of the employees answering the phone were very unprofessional. After I had picked up my suit I received a voicemail stating that the manager was going to call me the next day/Saturday to straighten my dissatisfaction. The manager never called. If any of you want to shop at BB in White Plains you may want to think it over. Good luck to you all. read more

Bottom line is this. Brooks Brothers is good for clothing that doesn't need alterations. Anything else, which involves a salesperson and tailoring is schlocky nonsense. Basically, the store is a Gap, with better woodwork. I'm sorry to say that, but it's true. Salespeople there are one step above used car salesmen. If they could, they'd have tried to sell me the undercoating. Manager in The Westchester is a clown. Thinks he's a lot slicker than he is. I want them in business for shirts and shorts, basically, anything off the rack, but for proper men's clothes, forget it. They'll sell you anything, whether it fits or not. Total clown show. Brooks Brothers at the Westchester is a disaster with its history of superb service by talented tailors and attentive sales persons gone for good. My last visit was early 2021 and I will never return. They evidenced no experience with the Brooks Brothers brand, and even less providing the kind of meticulous, professional service customers like me became accustomed when I first began wearing Brooks Brothers navy blazers and gray slacks in 1960. It is a bygone era, which the present staff knows nothing about and can never replicate. So sad. read more

I was disappointed by my visit to this Brooks Brothers location. I was seeking a professional women's suit and discovered a gray 2-piece online. I travelled to the Westchester on my lunch hour to see if the suit was available and to test the sizing. The store had a very limited selection of women's clothes, and the suit was not there. But what was worse was that despite the store being nearly empty, no one in the store greeted me, offered to help, or otherwise spoke to me during my visit. I located a sheath dress and jacket in my size, took the items into the dressing room, tried them on both individually and together, placed them back on the hangers and left without an iota of concern from anyone. As I was leaving, I encountered my first sales associate, who didn't bother to acknowledge me. When I returned to the office, I decided to just roll the dice and order the gray suit online. read more

Excellent service! I had spoken to a sales associate about having a zipper repaired on my briefcase that I purchased roughly a year and a half ago. He told me that he would be more than happy to have it repaired, free of charge, and even gave me some helpful tips on how to repair the edges of my brief case. read more

Having just spoken with Mark, the store's manager, I thought it'd be an injustice to not update this review. Rather annoyed by my experience, I blasted Brooks Brothers on social media to see if they'd even bother responding. And to their credit, they did. By Saturday evening, I had spoken with their social media team to discuss what had happened. They assured me I'd be hearing from the store within the next few days. Mark gave me a ring and we had a quick chat, during which he apologized and took ownership of the incident, vowing to educate his associates and ensure a pleasant experience for all who enter his store. We all make mistakes - much as I did accusing the store of age discrimination. What makes the difference though is owning up to those mistakes. So absolute kudos to Mark and many thanks to the Brooks Brothers team for resolving this issue properly. You've earned my respect and my patronage. read more

The staff here is snooty and rude. I had a pair of pants from the outlet with a defective zipper, wanted to exchange and willing to pay the difference of course. (When I bought them was told that returns can be done at regular stores no problem). The saleswoman was so condescending, I mean obviously if I shop at the outlet store I must be poor, right? Seriously? I asked if there was an equivalent line, she snootily remarked that it's an outlet line they don't have it. No kidding dummy, that's why I asked for an equivalent. They offered me a store credit but I need pants, not a store credit. Ended up having to drive to an outlet. read more

I've been a Brooks Brothers customer for years and likely still will be, but my experiences in this store have been significantly less enjoyable than the other reviewers. I received two shirts as gifts in the wrong size, and I unfortunately wasn't given the receipt. I didn't think this would be an issue, as I only wanted to exchange the unopened shirts, but an associate at this store rudely told me that wouldn't be possible (for reasons still unexplained). I went back another day, hoping someone else could be more helpful, and instead got more of the same. Finally, I contacted customer support, who told me that the store was in the wrong (unopened, same style exchange shouldn't have been a problem), but that if I wanted an exchange, I now had to go through the process of mailing the shirts back. Such a useless, customer-unfriendly process. If you need to get something, I'd recommend going to one of their other stores, or just ordering online. read more
