Tell me why? The old address is up online. But in fact the store has located about 200 feet from the old place. But that's not what I'm complaining about. I pulled up to the store, and noticed it was empty. So I called up the number and some jack off picks up, and was a complete A hole. No hello, no bye, no nothing. Now to you this might not mean anything. But to me this is everything. How you gonna be a D head on the phone and expect me to drop a couple hundred on boots? That would mean that I tolerate this type of treatment. Matter of fact, in the real world, you should be kissing my A$$ to spend a couple hundred on boots made by your store. So guess what, I went next door to DSW and bought some boots instead of Redwings. Now I ain't gonna lie, I was excited to go check out the store. But this D head ruined the whole freakin drive for me. It was an hour long drive to get there. But no Problem. I hope you reading this, and I hope your manager or whoever above you is reading this. Or someone that cares about professionalism is reading this. You are the reason people internet shop, you are the reason your business will go out of business. But to you I'm sure it don't mean anything. Cuz it's not your business, you can just apply to the next retail store and F$$k it up for them. For reference, today's incident happened on 01/03/2026 at 2:04pm. If one of ya wanna play detective to find out who was working. Track that time and date. I'm sure it's not the first complaint about this A$$ head. I ended up spending 4 and change next door and got 4 pairs of fire sh*t. Maybe this was a blessing. Horrible customer service, salesman wouldn't even leave behind the counter. When asking them questions they would simply point. Not helpful at all, pretty sure salespeople smelled like weed. For the prices you pay for these shoes you would expect better service, I will never do business at this location. I left without a salesman helping me. read more

Amazing service and support by Jeremiah at this location. As soon as I walked in he greeted me right away and listened to my needs. Was looking for a steel toe boot but something that could be worn in more business casual settings. He got me sized up on the machine and measured for the perfect fitment and insole. The level of service was impressive and Jeremiah is definitely an expert here. Although they didn't work out in the end (just decided these weren't for me) he did everything right and I recommended other people to go to this location for proper fitment and service. My expectation of what going to a Red Wing store and the one I received here are two very very different things. The customer service in this store LACKS. The first time I went in a lady helped me. She was all by herself and trying to help 6 different customers at once. She was at least nice and tried to help me find a pair of shoes. The 2nd time I came in 2 guys were there couldn't care less if I was alive or dead. They didn't greet me or try to help me at all. Every question I asked was such a chore for them. Sorry I'm spending over $300 on shoes and want to make sure I buy the right pair. Just not the experience I expect from a store selling shoes worth hundreds. I was expecting a staff with knowledge of their products. But not one person I talked to knew what they were talking about and could not offer any advice. Long story short, I left this store with a bad taste in my mouth, chose not to buy a pair of boots, and am never coming back here. read more

For people who work hard, Red Wing has been a trusted brand for decades. I went to their new store at 2470 Central Avenue yesterday and had the best shopping experience in recent memory. Why? Because the salesperson, Patrick, CARED about my requirements, and had EXTENSIVE PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE. This is a highly specialized shoe store where every feature on their shoes and boots need to be understood and addressed. Patrick expertly fitted me and queried me on tasks I may be performing to make sure the style he chose addressed those requirements; some tasks I hadn't thought of, but indeed would be doing. I walked out, literally, in an awesome pair of work boots, put in a full days work and felt great at the end of the day! Finally, two more random points. I'm female and getting work boots can prove to be difficult. Red Wing and their sales people respect us, folks - in their product design and customer care. Secondly, I'll be heading back to try some of their non-work related products for me, and my male/female members of our family. This store was 100 percent what I visioned it should be. Very nice and comfortable I was throughout my purchase. Ingrid was not pushy and was there to explain about the shoe and the concerns people face regarding way we walk and the way we ware normally shoes. Explaining how redwings can get replacement tread and so on. Hopefully this review gets back to this employee. Wish everyone goes to red wing in Yonkers. I do suggest to this American company that since these boots are high end and the store reflects that. They should offer coffee or bottled water. Great job Ingrid! read more

Went there simply to look and review their footwear as I had purchase shoes at an Albany store two years ago. Like Albany, the people in this store were terrific. Very knowledgable, attentive and care service so often not found in the shopping experience. Great products, great training which makes for great representatives of an excellent company !! read more

I never leave reviews but this red wing store deserves one. The manager and his associate went well above and beyond to make sure I had comfortable shoes for work (I ended up coming back several times to tweak my fit). I'm on my feet for 9-14 hours a day. My job is far more comfortable now. They do care about your fit and I can't recommend stopping in enough. read more

while i was waiting for a friend who was at best buy i was walking around the area of the outdoor strip mall that also includes a bunch of shops and notice red wings which at that point meant the hockey team for me but as i got a better look i can see that it's a shoe store with boots being the main attraction . they carry a wide selection of boots and other footwear including shoes and sneaker type. if you are on your feet most of the day that have comfy shoes that can ease the discomfort that regular footwear cause. the sales folks are friendly and not pushy i was able to look around in peace checking out all the nicely organized footwear when i notice a pair of casual sneaker work shoes so i said to the sales dude , buddy i would like to try em at size 12 and he came back with 3 boxes. the second box was the winner as it was the best fitting and comfy level was high . ouch it was 120 bucks for pair of footsies but if these shoes are as comfortable as the red wings company claims then i will be back for more. i recommend you look at the easy to navigate website and see if the boots are in your taste of style cause with winter coming it might be a wise investment . read more
