This is a high volume practice but professional. I had no long waits during the entire process. Surgery was routine with no complications. It was a bit unnerving for Dr Brooks to change the prescription of a lens a few minutes before surgery. The after-surgery care by various optometrists was very rushed. It was obvious that they were trying to score my eyes with the best possible numbers. After about six weeks, my vision is 20/20 or 20/30 unaided at all distances. Prior vision was highly myopic with high astigmatism. I see halos/ starbursts around every point light at night or late evening. I knew that was a trade off with the PanOptix lens and I'd make the same choice again. Dr. Brooks et al say the effects will diminish over time; we'll see. Parting advice: do your homework and use your own eye doctor for follow up. read more

Was referred here by my optometrist because they said they took Tricare. They don't. They informed me of this AT the desk, AFTER I filled out all the paperwork. Not the night before via email or text (though I received both an email and text the day prior confirming this appt). Not in the two weeks leading up to this appointment. No. After I just drove 30 minutes to their location and 20 minutes doing paperwork. They said they tried to call me yesterday to tell me. Yesterday. Which was before their text to confirm todays appointment! Disorganized mess. Can't imagine what their clinical practice is like if this is what their business practice is like. read more

I wish I could do zero stars... I went to Dr Brooks to have my cataracts seen to,after our brief consultation we discussed having the surgery in order to see far without glasses and use readers for closeup. Well to cut a very long story short I am still using prescription glasses to see far and readers for close up. They now want me to see another doctor to have stigma straightened and then return to Dr Brooks for laser surgery for another ridiculous amount of money. Go get a second opinion before using this Doctor. read more

If you are older and wanting just cataract removal Brooks would be ok. I had toric lens implants while having a high level of astigmatism. I was never able to see following the procedure. No acknowledgement of my situation by Dr Brooks and zero continued care by one person at the facility. It is too large of a place with way too many employed. They herd folks through there like cattle. Three months later of not being able to see I am now getting my eyes fixed someplace else. Worst experience ever. read more

My takeaway is Brookes is an eye repair "factory". I'm sure they do great work for those with more serious vision issues but if you are borderline and seeking advice on cataract surgery...BEWARE. I have minor vision issues that were well documented by my optometrist a couple months ago. They referred me to Brookes for an evaluation/consultation. Brookes pretty much ran all the same test as my eye doctors to come to the same conclusion that my vision is 20/25 and I have early stage cataracts. My objective for a consultation was to get a better idea of the benefits of surgery now or wait a couple years until I really needed it. Not sure Dr. Brookes heard my questions clearly as he seemed more focused on selling the features, advantages and benefits of the $4300/eye lens versus the less expensive lens. I was also hit with the unexpected $200+ exam cost as my annual medical insurance deductible hasn't been met yet. Although Brookes had prepared a detailed patient financial estimate letter for the surgery, they didn't have the courtesy to let me know upfront when I confirmed the appointment that I needed to pay out of pocket for an exam I essentially just had with my eye doctor. I have circled back to my Optometrist and shared my disappointment in the Brookes experience. We have a new plan to monitor the progression of the cataracts and when the time comes I'll choose an Ophthalmologist that closely listens to my needs versus getting the big upsell on the value of the high dollar lens. read more

Recently had my vision corrected with LASIK with Dr Brooks and I'm so happy to say I can see 20/15! I have always wanted to get LASIK done and after meeting Dr Brooks I was comfortable enough to actually do it! I'm sure this provider and facility would be just great for 99 out of 100 people. I knew going in I had some anatomical differences that i included in my history and were confirmed preoperatively by testing and examination. It's now 15 months after cataract surgery. And, so far, I'm 2 specialists, 2 additional surgeries, 2 laser procedures and counting ...I find it both curious and disappointing the surgeon has never contacted me. The moral of the story: if you're the average bear, go for it. But if you think your eyes are "special" (his diagnostic term, not mine), get a second opinion BEFORE surgery. read more

Very helpful and friendly staff, we came after my husband hurt his eye,after going to the emergency room we got referred to this place, the receptionist were very friendly and kind. We wait a little bit but Dr.Brooks was very professional, helpful and was able to remove the piece of metal out of my husband eye. After my cataract surgery and having a severe infection in my eye that Dr Brooks didn't even recognized or took care of it, I lost 50% of my vision on that eye after having placed the most expensive lense they suggested me to choose for my surgery. Dr Brooks had no patient bedside manners. I was explaining him what I was feeling in my eye and how infected I felt it and he decided to interrupt me to take care of a text message he forgot to send the night before to a friend of his and the tone in his voice made me feel it was my fault instead of his fault that I had a severe infection in my eye. Unbelievable!. After having a shot directly into my eye and several surgeries to follow, my new eye doctor controlled the severe infection I got at Dr Brooks Eye Center. If you want to be in a professional eye doctor hands, I would recommend for you to find somebody else that cares for your eye health and not so much for selling you the most expensive lens and then backing off of any responsibility if something goes wrong. I will never be able to see well again with the eye he did the surgery on, but I'm glad I didn't completely loose my vision on my eye. Very disappointed!! read more

I've taken my elderly mother in law here a few times and I've spoken with their staff on the phone several times. If you care how you or your family member is treated do not go here. The staff was incredibly rude in every single interaction I've had with them. They acted like we were a huge inconvenience just for calling or speaking to them. We showed up early for her appointment and patiently waited until 15 minutes after the appointment time. When we asked when we would go back they told us it would be soon and we needed to wait. 30 minutes after the appointment time they got very irritated that we were asking again and acted like they were having to rush themselves to accommodate our impatience. This was also after they got our appointment time wrong 3 times and asked us to reschedule twice. They like to use phrases like "like I said" and "I've already told her and I repeated myself" during your first conversation. This is the worst I've been treated or spoken to by the staff at a doctors office. read more

Exceptionally friendly, composed, knowledgeable (esp. Laura!), friendly and highly-qualified doctor that came highly recommended by both patients and optometrist. Just completed one eye and though much angst associated before going through this, nothing could have been easier. NEVER any swelling or discomfort and I can see out of the one eye with no need for glasses except for reading. I suggest that people read all reviews here carefully before going ahead with their cataract surgery with this place. I read them and went ahead thinking I would be OK. I've experienced major issues with staff not returning phone messages, never picking up a call, confusing billing costs, misleading information on what to expect from the most expensive lenses, very little interaction with the surgeon, and now a lens that does not perform as I need. Very little is actually in focus with one lens. I was told PRK could "tweak" the vision in that eye. I am unsure if that is actually something I am willing to endure after reading about the procedure. In addition, it is an expensive procedure. Nothing was stated about the charge to me if PRK is needed or how long I would have before opting for it. I feel that not enough information is given to a patient for such important decisions. I wish I'd checked on a doctor who was not as busy as this one. read more

If you want an approximate $375 savings and excellent patient care, please read before choosing Brooks Eye Associates: I was in the medical field for over 30 years. I am a retired RN. I had cataract surgery the first part of September, 2021 at Brooks. My wife had cataract surgery the last part of September, 2021 at Texas Vision and Laser Center. (TVLC) We are on the same Cigna insurance plan. We both choose top of the line lens. I had average to poor patient care during my two surgeries. The first nurse receives a B+ rating and the second nurse a F rating. The second nurse never came back to assess the effectiveness of the Xanax. Which I know did not work. After spraying my eyelids with the cleaner she turned and walked away. I used my shirt sleeve to wipe off my eyes. Dr. Dain Brooks did an incredibly poor job of explaining the various aspects of my initial eye exam and upcoming surgery. He spent a short amount of time speaking to me. He said there is a 90-95% guarantee that I would not need glasses. This is the main reason I went with the most expensive Vivity lens. Dr. Dain Brooks receives a D rating. (I Have to Wear Glasses.) The anesthesiologist Dr. Kevin King with Choice Anesthesia receives a F rating for his total lack of care. Since I only received 1mg of Xanax he did not come into the surgery suite. On my follow up visits I asked the nursing staff about Dr. King and they told me he usually just wrote in the charts and rarely went into the surgery suites. Since I paid over $2400.00 out of pocket to him I think he should have attended my surgeries. My wife said she received excellent patient care at TVLC and Dr. BullaJian went to great lengths to explain the procedure and the various aspects of her eye exam. Since they give IV medication for consciousness sedation at TVLC the anesthesiologist was present during the procedures. Six weeks after my implant surgeries I returned to (Brooks) to discuss the problems with my vision and the poor care I received. Dr. Patel at Brooks told me that due to the scaring on my eyes I did not qualify for the best and most expensive lens. (Panoptic) This was never discussed with me by Dr. Brooks. At Brooks Eye Associates the Vivity and Panoptic lens are the same price. My wife received the panoptic lens and her cost for both eyes were $200.00. cheaper than mine and all her eye medications were free. Don't go here, sales tactics are like shopping at used car sales. My initial visit I was told and have the paper that says since I met my out of pocket max with insurance my surgery would be free and only pay cost for lens and surgery center fee. Next visit I was told the cost for lens was 3375. Next visit I was told there are 3 charges:2325 for Dr. Brooks to do surgery and if I chose to go to my optometrist for follow up visits they would pay him 500 and I asked if that was a referral fee, I was told no its a fee for seeing dr for 3 visits. Last thing mentioned was a 950 fee for use of surgery center in Dallas where procedure is done. I pay 2325 at Brooks eye which I thought was the cost of the lens. Then the office calls me to say it was explained incorrectly and they don't pay my optometrist that I need to pay them directly since insurance won't cover it. Funny when I gave BCBS the procedure code I was told that was covered. Now cataract surgery is done and insurance processed the bills and I get my EOB and it shows patient portion is zero! So I call the surgery center in Dallas and they send me a detailed statement showing the 950 I paid them is the cost for the lens. I verified that is not covered with BCBS. So I call Brooks and said if surgery center charged my insurance over 9k for the surgery and I paid 950 for the lens, why did I pay 2325 for the lens? I explained that my EOB shows Dr Brooks filed a claim for 3030 and only 794 is allowable and patient portion is zero. Now the story is that the 2325 charge is for ordering and storing the lens. Sorry but I feel this place is an insurance scam, go someplace honest about charges. read more

This review is regarding my experience with a member of the nursing staff, "Jackie W." I was a patient advocate for a friend who was receiving a patient service (a very expensive one), and Jackie listened in on a conversation I had with my friend the patient, the first day as I was with her for her initial procedure, when we were outside of the medical establishment getting her into our vehicle- following her eye procedure. Before we left, I had also asked Jackie W. for a SECOND pair of the 10 cent cheap plastic sunglasses they give the patient to wear when outside after the procedure, in case she lost or broke the one pair she did offer. NO BIGGIE right??? A week later, we went back for her second eye procedure, and upon the post procedure pick up again (after waiting in the car, not in the facility waiting room) Jackie W proceeds to get an attitude with me as soon as I walked up to wait outside the door. As she opens the door, she makes a snyde remark about me having asked for a second pair of the 10 cent glasses (GOD FORBID!) the week prior, and TAKES BACK the pair of glasses she had just handed my friend, then mumbles something about me "already taking an extra pair last week" and then rudely mumbles something about words I spoke the week before (outside the building), that she overheard- which I had actually been speaking to my friend, the patient -NOT JACKIE W, and then asks me rudely- "IS THERE A PROBLEM?" The conversation she was referring to did not include Jackie, and was between my friend and I, who at the time, was VERY upset and disappointed. Nothing said was harmful or offensive, OR directed to OR at Jackie W.!! So, because she didn't personally like what I said as she was eaves dropping on our conversation, she felt the need to bring it up a week LATER, as I stood in the doorway to the patient pick up area today, as if it was her duty to do so...... Her behavior was rude, combative, unprofessional, intrusive, and she is not a person I would want caring for me in any healthcare situation with her unprofessional and offensive attitude like what I witnessed. She spoke to me as if she wanted to argue with me, while allowing her personal views to interrupt her ability to remain professional and PATIENT focused. I have a right to free speech Jackie W., this is STILL America! People like YOU, need to read the Constitution of the UNITED STATES! You should wear your face diaper, and mind your own brainwashed business! Its STILL a free country and my opinions can be voiced, and you or your muzzled, indoctrinated, programmed state of mind, can not and will not silence or intimidate me. It is my God given right to have a conversation with my friend whom I was helping, and whether you agree or not, you don't have the right to treat me or anyone else that way when receiving a patient service or assisting a patient. The added stress you caused for my friend today with your unprofessional attitude and you harassingly speaking to me as I was standing outside the doorway, picking my friend up after her procedure, was completely unprofessional, unacceptable, and out of line! I'm really disappointed. I was told I would have perfect vision from 3 feet to infinity. I paid the extra $7,000 to have the focusing lenses, and they do not work. To see clearly while driving, I need glasses. To see movies clearly, I need glasses. To see my TV clearly, I need glasses. To see the computer screen clearly, I need glasses. I'm going to do an unusual review because I'm going to describe to you in detail what to expect when you undergo cataract surgery with Brooks Eye Associates. When you first meet with the group, technicians will spend up to 45 minutes taking various measurements of your eyes. You will then meet with a counselor who will explain the entire process to you and what your options are for insurance coverage and replacement lenses. The counseling will be detailed, comprehensive and complete. They will answer any questions you have in great detail and you should have no unanswered questions when you leave. The Procedure. You will be given an arrival time and it's just that....an arrival time, not an appointment. You will see the doctor depending on how his schedule is going that morning. Expect to wait until 15 to 45 minutes after your arrival time before you are called for your surgery.......but it's quiet there, they have a tv and you weren't doing anything else anyway. You will then be called in for your surgery and will interact with up to five different nurses/ technicians. You will find them all to be professional, knowledgeable, efficient, cheerful, friendly and caring. They will seat you in a chair much like a dentist's chair. They will first confirm who you are and which eye is to be operated one. (The administrative cletk will have already checked this and put a bracelet on your arm....left arm for left eye, for example.) They will then actually put a mark on your forehead above the eye to be operated on....a little odd...maybe overkill....but, hey, you can't be too safe when it comes to your eyes.. They will then check your blood pressure and oxygen level and ask a few questions about vital signs, medications, etc. Then you will then be given a series of eye drops to numb and dilate your eye....expect as many as five applications of drops. They will then offer you a Zanax.....take it. They may offer you another half of a Zanax pill....take it too...and ask for it if they don't offer it. it can't hurt and you might as well enjoy yourself while remaining as calm and collected as possible. You will get a visit from the anesthetist...... to explain who he is, what he is and why he's there. The technicians will also have already taped four leads to your upper chest, I assume for his use. He's there primarily as a back up, I guess, since you won't actually be put under anesthesia. His main job apparently will be to stand in the corner with his arms folded to watch the procedure. You'll then sit quietly until it's your turn and the doctor is ready for you. This also gives the Zanax time to kick in, which only takes ten minutes or so. You won't notice any change. They will then wheel you into another cubicle where the procedure will take place......ok, it's surgery but let's call it a procedure. You may feel something like a damp cloth being placed around your eye....I don't know what it was but it felt good. The doctor will then place a microscope above your eye and you will see three white lights which he will ask you to stare at. It's not hard to do because they don't seem that bright. Of course, his purpose in having you stare at them is to get you to hold your eye steady so he has a steady surface to work with. At some point you may feel like he is irrigating your eye with cool water...I have no idea what it was but that's what it felt like. Then, a few minutes later......the entire process only takes about five or six minutes....he'll say, "Ok, we're done.", and that's it.....the whole thing is OVER! So, what did I feel during the procedure? Nothing!......I mean, absolutely nothing!. No pain, no tugging, no pushing....no sensation of any kind other than the feeling of the wet cloth around my eye and the irrigation and watching the three white lights. A technician will then place a transparent plastic guard over your eye, transfer you to a wheelchair and wheel you to the exit where your driver is waiting.....no recovery time needed. The Zanax is going to affect your balance and coordination and, while you're going to feel ok....even good.....you're going to appear to be a little goofy. So when the technician and/or driver offer their hand to help you get into the the car, take it or otherwise you may fall flat on your face. In summary, this was the easiest, most pleasant medical procedure I have ever experienced. I've already mentioned the professional, knowledgeable, efficient, cheerful, friendly and caring attitude of each one of Dr. Brooks' staff. I have never worked with an organization where this attitude was present in everyone I encountered, so kudos to the good doctor for his ability to generate that attitude and approach in each of his staff members. Finally, if you are considering cataract surgery, I recommend in the strongest possible way that you consider using Dr. Brooks and Brooks Eye Associates. read more

I've never had eye surgery until recently when I found out I had cataracts that needed attention. My optometrist referred me to Brooks Eye Associates and even made the appointment for me. I had my first visit about a month ago. Everyone from the front desk to all the techs could not have been nicer, more accommodating, knowledgeable, and willing to assist. I cannot say enough about Dr. Brooks. He's very personable, explains every little detail, and spent enough time with me to make sure all my questions were answered. I had surgery on my right eye and am now only two days post-op and I feel great plus I am able to see fairly clearly already. I can only imagine how precise my vision will be after my left eye is operated on in another week. I highly recommend Dr. Brooks if you are in need of an eye surgeon. If I could give zero stars I would. I am a patient who has not been seen for 2 years. I called on a Wednesday asking if I can be seen because I was seeing spiderwebbed floaters with eye pressure and cloudiness. I was told that since I wasn't seeing flashing lights or a black curtain it wasn't an emergency and I needed to have a referral from an optometrist before they would see me. I had an appointment with the optometrist the following week so I thought ok no flashes no emergency. A couple of days later on a Friday before the holiday weekend the spiderwebs were impairing my vision and I had a lot of pressure in my eye. Again- I called that morning asking if I can be seen. Again they told me I needed a referral and it wasn't an emergency since I didn't see flashing lights. They told me if I do, go to the emergency. Sure enough- I wasn't seeing any flashing lights but the floaters got worse and so did the pressure. Therefore 500 dollars later I ended up in emergency and was referred immediately to a specialist. To make a long story short I had a hole and a tear in my retina and had immediate laser surgery to repair it. If this is how they treat not only patients or anyone who requests appointments, they should be ashamed of themselves. WOW!! TERRIBLE!! read more

After being there for over 2 hours, the doctor (Brooks) finally saw me (they were doing testing and giving me a sales pitch while I waited, so not all of it was avoidable). After I asked him a few questions, his cell phone rang. He told me it was "an important call" and he had to take it. A minute later the nurse left too. After 10 minutes, I found someone in the back office (it was after 5:30, the place was pretty much empty). I asked her if the doctor planned on returning and she went to check. After a few minutes, she came out along with the doctor and the nurse. The doctor apologized and told me the call was from a lawyer. Not sure how that figured into the whole thing, or even mattered, but I cannot imagine why he felt it was acceptable to tell a patient that he had something more important to do than answer questions related to an eye surgery. My impression is that he does not care to answer questions that his sales people haven't addressed in their scripted presentations. Or any questions for that matter. I guess that's what the circus barkers are paid for. At any rate, I would never go to him or anyone associated with him again. No one is as good as he apparently thinks he is. And he's lost touch with what's important - the people he treats and what they're trusting him with. read more

My wife and I have been going to Dr Brooks office for last 4 years after many years with the large office in Dallas where we were just numbers. What a difference. Here at Brooks Eye I was treated with respect and care...All my many questions were answered. No pressure ever. I had cataract surgery and it could not have been easier. It all went EXACTLY as they had laid out. Have been going since for routine eye checkups etc.....Staff has all been great and acomodating for both my wife and I. She will need cataract surgery soon and no question where she will go. Sure some times there may be a wait at the appointment time but I know when I get in there will be given the time I need for my Exam and follow ups. read more

I was impressed from the moment I called the office. I was dealing with an urgent matter and I know Whitney could sense the stress in my voice. She squeezed me in for a same day appointment, which was such a relief. I had to bring my two rambunctious children with me, and the staff was so welcoming to them. A staff member named Unique was so silly and kind to them. She went out of her way to make them laugh and to distract them when she could tell I was frustrated they were getting so restless. Dr. Miller is very professional and knowledgeable. She was thorough with the exam and seemed to know how to treat the problem. I was concerned shingles had gotten in my eye, so she created a clear course of action to prevent further problems. Everyone from Hilda to Dana was friendly and warm. I feel confident my issue will be resolved soon. I'll definitely be returning to this practice for future needs. read more

My eyesight is amazing! It's been almost 3 months since Dr. Brooks did cataract surgery on my eyes. During my initial consultation, I asked him if it was possible to get 20/20 vision after cataract surgery with the new multifocal lens. Dr. Brooks said he couldn't guarantee 20/20 but he thought he could give me "20/happy" vision with the right lens. I am not "20/happy", I am "20/thrilled." For the first time in over 20 years, I have clear reading, computer & distance vision without glasses. The best lens is a very important part of this process. And Dr. Brooks came highly recommended as an ophthalmologist who is especially skilled & experienced at choosing the best lens at the optimal power for each individual. The fact that I had had LASIK surgery prior to this also complicated my case & made it even more important that I found an ophthalmologist with Dr. Brooks level of expertise. If you are on the fence about choosing multifocal over clear lens, I made my decision based on the extra costs versus the benefits of not having to pay for & wear glasses anymore. It was getting to the point that I was having to buy expensive prescription glasses & sunglasses more often than I liked. Plus you can pay for multifocal lens in interest-free payments over a two year period if you like. When I compared that to annual eye exams & the costs of new glasses & sunglasses every couple of years, it made a lot sense to me. FYI...when the extra costs of using multifocal lens vs. the clear ones are broken down, the bulk of the costs is for manufacturing the technologically advanced lens. The doctor doesn't get paid much more in spite of the level of skill & experience it takes to properly choose the right lens at the right power for each patient. I have the Tecnis Multifocal Lens in my left eye & the Tecnis Symfony Toric (to correct astigmatism) in my right eye. So worth every extra penny to me! Dr. Brooks associates & staff are also outstanding. These people really care about their patients. Last year my wife had cataract surgery preformed by Dr.Brooks with great success and was always treated in a professional as well as freindly manner by the entire staff . I accompanied her on all her visits. So when it came it came time to have my cataract surgery this month of April 2018 it was a no brainer as to whom I choose for my surgery. I just had my second eye done and I am so pleased with my vision. I can drive with no glasses on and actually read without any glasses although a light pair of readers makes my vision even better. Night driving is no longer challenging . Every thing is so much brighter and clearer. I can not wait to get back to golfing and actually not depend on others to spot my ball for me. Dr. Miller was very good, but I do not recommend this practice. Dr. Brooks was my initial doctor, and after 3 visits and 6 weeks my eye was worse - not better, not the same, worse. Dr. Miller, who advocates well for her patients, took over my treatment and I had immediate improvement. But after a particular treatment I experienced a potential after effect, and felt they ill prepared me for this. Also, every office visit took 1.5 to 2 hours. I suspect lasik gets 100% of the effort because that's where the money is, and all other issues get less effort. Dr. Miller was great, but I DO NOT recommend. read more

Dr. Brooks performed my cataract surgery on two different dates in March. I, too, chose to pay an extra $7000 for the fancy lenses, but due to complications that could have been avoided, my vision - almost one month later - is still not where I was told it would be or what I paid $7000 for. During both surgeries, Dr. Brooks's surgical staff scratched my corneas, which I felt because they were very rough during the scrubbing and cleaning of my eyes. At my first post-op appointment, Dr. Miller - the best person I dealt with the entire time - told me to let the surgery staff know about the first scratch and to be very articulate about the need for special care, so that is what I did - repeatedly and to everyone involved. Needless to say, that didn't work because the second scratch was more severe, so much so that they put on a cataract bandage before I left the surgery center. At my second post-op appointment, they encouraged me to continue using my medicated drops along with hourly drops for dry eye to soothe and help repair the scratches. Then, they informed me that "We're here until 5:00 today, and after that you'll need to call Dr. _____." Needless to say, my frustration levels were pretty high. My regular eye doctor - whom I have seen for about 20 years - was incensed when he read my chart. He said my recovery would be much slower than the majority because I had trauma both inside and outside of both eyes but that eventually - that's the key word here - my vision would improve. Today, three weeks after the second surgery, my vision is improving very slowly, so I am hopeful. I get the feeling that Dr. Brooks and his eye center are in it for the quantity rather than the quality. Maybe if my vision finally gets to what I was told it would be, my opinion will change. Sitting here shocked at the horrible customer service from Brookseye. This was my worst customer experience ever. The front desk we're new/clueless (I suspect high turnover). The other staff I dealt with were rude, arrogant, and condescending. All the other negative reviews concerning the office was exactly what I experienced. I cancelled my procedure and am now looking for a new doctor. How could I ever trust a doctor who keeps an office like this. read more

I had an appointment there this morning at 9:00. By 9:30 I had not been called. Finally the tech took me back, spent 5 min with me and put me in another room to wait for the Dr. At 10:15 I decide to leave as I had not even seen the Dr. As I am walking out the nurse was coming in to ask me to move to another room to continue my wait. I said I was leaving as the Dr. was standing there. He spent 30 seconds, in the hall, looking at my eye only to tell not to do anything. An hour and fifteen minute for 30 sec in the hall. Unprofessional, unconcerned with my time and truthfully disrespectful. Won't go back or recommend. Oh... then they charged me too. read more

Had cataract surgery and lens implant in March 2017. Dr. Brooks took time to explain in detail what would be involved and also recommended less expensive lenses vs. other doctors who recommended much more expensive options. Surgery went well and I could see well right away but had experienced severe dry eye syndrome afterwards. Both Dr. Brooks and Miller took time and with great care to treat my problem and now I am doing really well. Staffs were very friendly and I highly recommend! read more
