I owe Arzoo Wastani my life. Am I being dramatic? Probably. But if you had as bad a case of cataracts as I had, you'd understand how awful it was living with what amounted to both eyes looking through thick aging plastic Jeep windows. The first optometrist misdiagnosed me, claiming I had glaucoma, which is incurable. I refused to accept that, so after talking to some colleagues, I went to see Arzoo. She determined I have cataracts, and it's an easy thing to cure, where 99%+ surgeries are successful, and fast. She recommended a surgeon, who I won't name since I want the focus to be on Arzoo. :) I had plenty in my HSA, so I went to the surgeon she recommended. After two surgeries, one per eye, my vision is now better than 20/20. I'm so happy that I can see so clearly so far away. I need reading glasses for anything under 18" but I can see the instruments in my Jeep without any issue. I was told before surgery and I am totally fine with that! I just use reading glasses when I'm at my computer at home or work. I really mean it when I say Arzoo saved my life. Life today is so much happier than it was before I had cataract surgery. She is quite experienced, and capable, and she has the interests of her paticince in mind. I highly recommend her. read more

Got my eyes tested after over a year and decided to go with someone close to home and decided to go to Master Eye Associates. The online appointment process was smooth an uncomplicated. The visit was smooth and pleasant. I arrived ahead of time and I was taken in fast. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Sidhu was professional and very pleasant to talk to. I was out in less than 20 minutes with my prescription. No waiting and the icing on the cake was the zero copay! read more

Shady billing practices. Rebilled me 12 months after my cash appointment for a lousy $25. How does that happen? I paid out pocket for the appointment. Ended up paying it after they threatened me with collectors. The collectors still threaten me. I've called 4 times to the Master Eye offices to get this to stop, they always agree I've paid in full, and promise the billing supervisor will call me back. No call backs to me ever, to this day. Poor customer services. Really bad billing. I do not recommend. read more

My Dr visit met expectation but the billing practice of this group is questionable to say the least. Eye exam in June of 2022 and just received a bill for services 'not covered' in March of 2023. read more

!!!! BEWARE !!!! They sneaked in a charge for some kind of retina imaging that isn't covered by insurance (VSP). They say it is required??? The alternative - covered by insurance - is some kind of dilation test; wouldn't mess with that! Been a regular for years, but don't think our family or friends will be going here any longer. read more

Previously had a good experience with routine eye exam at this facility, but most recent visit was poor at best. Scheduled an appointment for an issue I was having with my vision. Arrived prior to the appointment time and checked in with no issue. Was informed that the doctor would be with me "soon." 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time I was taken to an exam room and again told the doctor will be right with you. After another 15 minutes with no sign of a doctor OR explanation I gave up and left. Suggestion..... If you cannot manage the appointments that you book consider more time between them. At a minimum you cannot leave patients waiting with NO information. My time is just as valuable as yours!!! Needless to say, I did not get my problem looked in to so will have to start over again. read more

I had a great experience here! Dr. Babaei listened to my concerns and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions and explain things to me in a way I could understand. It was my first time getting contacts, so I was pretty nervous about being able to put them in and being comfortable about the process. What a wasted afternoon, received an email that it was time for a check up I said ok and called and scheduled an appointment for today at 4:30 upon my arrival they informed me I had no appointment. I was long overdue for an eye exam and decided to try the optometrist at Target in Allen. Dr. Manjot Sidhu and her assistant were very friendly and relaxed, yet impeccably professional. Dr. Sidhu took no shortcuts and made sure I had the best correction for my individual needs. Crystal clear explanations and a no-pressure yet thorough listing of my options. I had a busy day ahead and decided to opt out of dilation. I once had a very bad experience in Pennsylvania when an optician sent me out in the street without the special dark shades. I have since been jumpy about having my pupils dilated. That said, I am going to schedule another appointment for as soon possible. This is an important exam when your eyes have high mileage. I came in for an eye exam initially and Dr. Sidhu took the time to complete a thorough exam which included some medical issues that were confirmed by a retina specialist at a later time.
