First time coming here and we were absolutely torn in what to order. Luckily, the waiter was able to point out they are well known for their burgers so it made it a bit easier to choose. I ordered the fig and fine burger with bison meat, no onions and sweet potato fries. Luckily, they had honey for my fries. At first they had brought my burger out with onions, but had no problem removing them, thanks guys! My husband got the donut burger and according to him (it was so tasty he forgot to offer me a bite) he said it was great. We stopped by the ice cream on the way out and I just had to try the Cookie Monster while my husband got one of the yummy coffee + chocolate cups. This place is a classic if you're in the area my grandpa really likes this place and we came here for dinner and then the next day he wanted to come back for lunch. That's how much he likes it. They are well known for their burgers, and I got a burger with goat cheese, caramelized, onions, and fig jam. It was super delicious. I love the unique flavor combinations. They also have a vast variety on their menu, including burgers, different sandwiches, entrées, salads, and soups, and they also have milkshakes! The service is really nice. Came in for dinner with my dad on two separate occasions recently and really enjoyed the experience here at Brooks. Ambiance was nice and the food was great! Nothing extraordinary but they have a great menu overall and the execution of the food is spot on. First time we went in I had the fried grouper sandwich and I enjoyed it. Second time I went with the donut burger and it was solid. Sweetness from the donut, savoriness of the mid rare burger (perfectly cooked) and saltines of the bacon. Fries are also spot on and nice and crispy as they should be. We stopped for ice cream on the way out and I suggest you do too. Lots of flavors to choose from. The robotic waiters are a fun twist. Restaurant was clean and the service was great. Would go back for sure next time I'm in the area. My old man has been here on numerous occasions and says he always enjoys it. They took back the very rare burger and brought me a cremated burger. The second fries were great. I'll give it another try. They have been good in the past. My wife had a ceasar with salmon. It was pretty good. They used the wrong plate in my opinion. It was cramped in. The second one was good. The first was very very rare. Give it a shot. Well I'll start out with the positives... This restaurant is in a great location, newer and has really great shops/restaurants around. We only had to wait for a table for 10 mins. They do have outside seating, which it was a great night for. The food was really good. We had: - Bacon wrapped Pretzel (appetizer) - Pulled Pork Sandwich with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries - Philly Sandwich with Onion Rings - Kids Chicken Tenders and fries The negative... Our waiter didn't check on us. We had to flag him down to get refills. I can understand if you are busy, but if you are checking on the table behind us 10x more than you are us, there is an issue. After our meal, we wanted to try Brooks Burgers ice cream (which is in the same area as the restaurant), after 28 mins of watching our waiter walk back and forth and not address our table. I flagged him down and just asked for the check. I was not willing to wait longer so we decided we'd pay, leave and go elsewhere for ice cream. Food was great, service was not as great. Came with family that is vegetarian and found options for dinner. Love that they offer burger options that are not beef. I had the fig goat cheese with a turkey patty. It was nice and had the right amount of figs, sautéed onions, and goat cheese. I had the house chips which were ok. Family had the same burger but with the impossible burger, which was $4 additional. New Brooks opens close to me. Do I need it? Well yeah. More less expensive options is a good thing. I ordered their Naples style Chicago Hot dog. The hot dog was served on a toasted bun(new to me). I really like their interpretation of their Chicago style. It had the sport peppers, pickle slices(not spears), and if you want tomato. All sandwiches come with a side. I choose their baked beans and they were good. They have a long list of starters the one that caught my eye was the bacon wrapped Bavarian pretzel served with a white cheese. I don't know how the pretzel was prepared but my guess it was deep fried. Shut the front door mama it was good. While bacon makes everything good I seemed to be going for just the pure pretzel. But many miles I have traveled a hundred miles or more but bacon on a pretzel I never saw before. read more

Got takeout. My mom really enjoyed her fig burger and fries. My experience unfortunately wasn't optimal, yet not the absolute worst either. The stuffed onion ring (as pictured) was made with the paper thin and literally inedible outer scale of the onion (under the skin, above the fleshy scales) Y'all know how to peel and cut onions, right? I asked for dressing on the side for their silly version of a Thai chicken salad. The very friendly girl who took my order confirmed it yet it was still on it. The oily, synthetic dressing tasted like the lazy junk they get from Sysco in those plastic tubs. Dressing is almost always on the side of to go salads to avoid wilting anyway. Chicken was dry and unseasoned. Definitely don't recommend the Thai chicken salad. Nothing about it was Thai. I had a burger there months ago for dine in and it was stellar. WOW, this place! I've heard from family and friends that they've had the best burger they've ever had at Brooks Grill & Tavern. Had to check out if the hype was real. Since I don't eat red meat, I was so happy to see a few pescatarian options on the menu! The Blackened Grouper sandwich was the BEST I've ever had.
