We were greeted by one of the owners and seated promptly. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. We started off with the brussels sprouts which had pistachios, crispy prosciutto, with a drizzle of aioli. They perfectly cooked! My fiancé said they were the best brussels sprouts he has ever had. For dinner, I had the miso mahi w/ sweet potato and broccolini- delicious! Very flavorful and balanced. My fiancé had the mild wings and Caesar salad salad. The Caesar salad had thick pieces of bacon which added something different to the usual Caesar salad. The wings were good- but if you are sensitive to spice, maybe go with the garlic Parmesan. To finish the night, we enjoyed homemade bread pudding. We learned that the desserts are all homemade, and wow- this dessert did not disappoint! It was so light yet satisfying with just the right amount of sweetness. Best bread pudding we've had in years! Came here for my friends birthday since this is her favorite place for Lobster Rolls. The place is small, with a rustic and comfortable feel. Small bar area, and open kitchen. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and he made sure we were set up with our seats, poured champagne in everyone's glass for a toast, etc. The waitress, I think was also the bartender so maybe the reason that service wasn't as attentive as we would have liked given that there were NOT many people at the restaurant. She wasn't necessarily bad, but we had to often look for her or wait until she was Not behind the bar talking to the 2 patrons sitting at the bar. Since we were near the kitchen, I would sometimes ask the owner who was in the kitchen if we needed something. The menu is small, but they also have 3 specials per day. For the most part, we found all the food delicious. We had 3 orders of Lobster Rolls for the table. 2 orders had a good amount of lobster. However, my husband and I found our Lobster Roll to be skimpy on the lobster. It was a good thing that we split it and it was our appetizer. For additional appetizers, we ordered the crab cheese Rangoon and Brussel sprouts. The Rangoon was good but everyone Loved the Brussel sprouts. For dinner entrees, our table order lobster rolls, steak (big portion), 2 different pasta dishes and mahi mahi special. The pasta special was just OK. For the price, we found the fish portion to be small. The fish special was $45 just for the entree. This is the same price as some 2 - 3 course Summer dining specials at other restuarants. Everyone was pleased with their desserts. Loved the bread pudding, and chocolate dessert. When asked if I liked the restaurant, I would say everything was Fine. Would I go back? Not sure. My friends and I were looking for a highly rated place in the area for lunch. This bistro came in the search and while it had just a few reviews, the pics looked promising, so we decided to give it a try. Located in a plaza in the outskirts of Naples, FL, away from the main action, it surprised us with a stylish look and very affordable pricing. The owner, George, was very sweet and caring and cooked all of our dishes himself, as his staff was away for Easter weekend. The hot lobster rolls were the highlight, so was the burger. All food came on beautiful plates, accompanied by stylish silverware and glassware. One can tell that the owner put lots of effort and passion into the details and truly cares about the end-to-end experience his guests have. Extra points for having a variety of European wines, e.g. Gewurtztraminer. Our friends who live in the area were happy to learn about the place and promised to come back. I visited Bru Bistro four months ago during a visit to Naples, and loved it to the extent that it was on my "To Do" list again on this visit. Excellent news! We visited this local Bistro for lunch and its a hidden gem. Casual and elegant with a very comfortable atmosphere. The owner George greeted us and served us with a friendly smile making us feel like old friends. The food is not fussy wonderfully fresh. We shared a Lobster Roll with a fresh small salad on the plate to start, it was delicious! I had the Turkey Lasagna with a delicate bechamel sauce and my husband had the burger with delightful thin fries he loved it! We will be making this spot a regular for lunch and dinner. Took my 88 year old mom for lunch, we both loved it. The food was amazing ( I had the lobster roll and mom had the fried fish). I hardly ever finish my whole meal - There was plenty of lobster and I finished everything. My mom was humming as she ate the fish. The service was stellar. ordered a lobster roll with wings, burger and a side salad ($63) got home and there's no side salad, bit into my lobster roll and got a mouth full of paper towel. When I called the manager argued with me that it was a food divider not a paper towel they don't use paper towels. when I went back for my remade lobster roll. This place apparently has been open for 6 weeks. Super cute place. While the menu was smaller than most, it had a variety of options.
