My friends and I were looking for a highly rated place in the area for lunch. This bistro came in the search and while it had just a few reviews, the pics looked promising, so we decided to give it a try. Located in a plaza in the outskirts of Naples, FL, away from the main action, it surprised us with a stylish look and very affordable pricing. The owner, George, was very sweet and caring and cooked all of our dishes himself, as his staff was away for Easter weekend. The hot lobster rolls were the highlight, so was the burger. All food came on beautiful plates, accompanied by stylish silverware and glassware. One can tell that the owner put lots of effort and passion into the details and truly cares about the end-to-end experience his guests have. Extra points for having a variety of European wines, e.g. Gewurtztraminer. Our friends who live in the area were happy to learn about the place and promised to come back. Hard working staff , still working out opening of course. Started with hummus. Wow interesting flavors , smooth sweet nutty ... presentation was festive and inviting. Charcuterie board needed improvement. Maybe a description of the fare provided? Later choices of the meats and cheese. Either way it would benefit greatly with a jam and olive oil accompaniment. Olives would be need an upgrade as well. Maybe lose those Gerkins lol. Entrees, Lobster roll and rigatoni bolognese. Good lobster to buttery bun ratio. Crispy shoestring fries. Good value. Keep it. Don't let it be a margin drainer though. Bolognese done extremely well for this guy. Sweet start to backend spicy Plenty of Meat! Shaved Parmesan tops this mouthfeel of a dish to its peak! Well done. This is a fantastic place, great atmosphere, The people working there are absolutely wonderful and the food is so fresh and prepared by a professional chef. Tons of large lobster meat, slightly sweet bun, and a salad with their homemade dressing was excellent. read more

We visited this local Bistro for lunch and its a hidden gem. Casual and elegant with a very comfortable atmosphere. The owner George greeted us and served us with a friendly smile making us feel like old friends. The food is not fussy wonderfully fresh. We shared a Lobster Roll with a fresh small salad on the plate to start, it was delicious! I had the Turkey Lasagna with a delicate bechamel sauce and my husband had the burger with delightful thin fries he loved it! We will be making this spot a regular for lunch and dinner. I had the pleasure of dining at Bru Bistro two nights ago, and I'm still thinking about it. From the moment we walked in, the experience felt special. The open kitchen gives you a great view of the team preparing each dish, which adds a sense of energy and confidence in what's coming to the table. Even better, the owners, George and Ashley, were there greeting guests and making everyone feel as though they had just been welcomed into their home. I started with the lobster bisque, and it may have been the best I've ever had. Rich, velvety, and deeply flavorful, it was finished with a drizzle of pesto that complemented the soup perfectly, adding just the right touch of brightness. For my entrée, I went with the hot buttered lobster roll, and it absolutely delivered. Generous chunks of perfectly cooked lobster, warm and buttery without being heavy, all tucked into a beautifully toasted roll. Simple, but executed at a very high level. My dining partner had the fried artichoke heart appetizer (a special that night), which was fantastic. Light, crispy, and incredibly flavorful, it disappeared quickly. The salmon entrée was just as impressive. A perfectly seared filet paired with a charred lemon-caper shallot cream that brought a wonderful balance of richness and acidity. What really stood out was how everything came together. Outstanding food, thoughtful preparation, and genuinely warm hospitality. This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. The service was great, attentive, and friendly! The menu was small so we could tell that all the food was made from scratch. Everything down to the fries were very good. The lighting was ambient and dim, and the silverware/cutlery was very nice and high quality. ordered a lobster roll with wings, burger and a side salad ($63) got home and there's no side salad, bit into my lobster roll and got a mouth full of paper towel. When I called the manager argued with me that it was a food divider not a paper towel they don't use paper towels. when I went back for my remade lobster roll. I showed him the paper towel, to where he then said oh I apologies we use them on the bottom to containers to soak up the juice... horrible experience and felt like I was inconveniencing him by wanting my food made right! read more

Didnt expect the corner of large strip plaza to be charming. The decor is inviting and there was a wonderful atmosphere from the moment you walked in. The staff was above and beyond welcoming and friendly. The food was fresh, flavorful and had some nice innovative twists to set it apart! On top of that the pricing was more than fair. I live right around the corner from Bru so of course I had to give it a try. Turns out it's my newest obsession. Not only is everything on the menu amazing (and I've tried it all I promise) but the staff is so warm and inviting. They always make time to make you feel at home. This place apparently has been open for 6 weeks. Super cute place. While the menu was smaller than most, it had a variety of options. Our party had Ceasar salads, lobster bisque, bolognese, and the bru burger...all of it was made to order (which is unique but we love) and all of it was soooo good. We were at Berkshire Commons to do some quick shopping. We spotted this new restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating that looked interesting. We were starving, so we decided to give it a try. Bru Bistro was a great find. We each had a lobster roll with a yummy salad. It was the best lobster roll I've ever had! They served a variety of seafood and other items, wine and beer.
