Incredible service food and ambiance. Staff and ownership excited to be there. Highly recommend. Greek flair although I had Wednesday's special fried chicken

Southern Chicken Wrap

Stopped in for lunch about 1 PM on a Sunday. We were seated in the bar side and the bartender had at least 6 tables, with more than 25 customers...so we were patient, and fortunately, not in a hurry. He was doing all he could to keep up, and they do have runners other than the waitstaff who deliver the food. At any rate, service was a bit slow, but the food came out fast and we were never left wanting anything. The booth was comfortable, the place clean, and there is a cafe-like side and a bar side. I got the Southern Chicken Wrap. It had a nice tang and the veggies were fresh, as was the chicken. My wife had the Strawberry Salad. It was full of fresh fruit and veggies, with good blue cheese, and was very flavorful. All in all very good!

The restaurant has a great staff. They were very friendly taking our order and had good recommendations. The restaurant was quiet with good music on the background. I tried the Wednesday special, fried chichen with smash potatoes and vegetables. The vegetables were well seasoned, the smash potato with the gravy was really good, and the chicken was crispy and with good taste. However, the chicken breast was a bit dry. They have a large variety of options. They serve lunch or breakfast even in the afternoon. So, I will check it again if I am in the area.

This was a nice casual lunch spot. The server was attentive, prices are reasonable. I ordered the gyro which was okay. Will try other items next time

Gyro no meat replaced it with avocado and onion rings. Delicious. The tzatziki is yummy too.

Incredible! We go to Angelos all the time for breakfast and lunch. So delicious and fresh and food comes out hot. Everyone here is so hardworking and nice! Thanks to the cooks. The owner is always here working hard. Jessica, Billy Rudina are great! It's like a country diner feel with a large bar in the back with more booths. Can also eat outside. I'm a vegetarian and they make me yummy options.

We decided to go with the shrimp cocktail and mahi tacos on corn tortillas. There are also plenty of gluten free options which is nice. Lots of restaurants only have flour tortillas so it was nice having options. We split both items as we were looking for a little afternoon snack. I also had an Arnold Palmer surfside. My new fav vacay alcoholic beverage. This place is lively and lots of TVs to keep up with your fav sport team. It's also a Seminole bar (go gators). I won't hold it against them. Lol. I was going to order the calamari and 6 oysters. Putting north of $30 for supper. One of the people in the party ordered a smash burger, and I thought, what the heck, I'll order that. Pretty good burger. For those who like to drink under a thatched roof outside, there is a tikki hut. The establishment's motif is all over the map. But let's just stay with the island theme in Naples, FL. Would I go back again? I don't know, I have had this book marked, and I have eaten at another of their establishments, Sonny's. They do not have the same menu. I like that.

Seated at 730, drink order wasn't taken until 744, and this became a theme for the night. Drinks came a while later. Bread was provided after the drinks--but we had been seated well over 25 minutes now. Order was not taken for over 30 minutes. Appetizers came out relatively quickly and were good (4/5). The tomatoes were green house tomatoes though which really bugged me for southern Florida and the price point. Just plain greedy prices for Sysco food service quality ingredients. Entrees came about 90 minutes after we were seated. Wife and I had to do some serious damage control with the kids, but we brought them so that's on us. The entrees were good, but marked up considerably. I suspect they prey on tourists like us and just charge high in hopes of the perceived quality. My steak was very good I'll admit. But I filled up on the table bread because it all took so dang long. Also it was a limited menu--maybe because of Easter? But with limited options the kitchens job should be streamlined a lot better to avoid such a long wait time for the food. Started this review with a 4 star rating, as I thought about it, I downgraded it to a 3 due to high cost, mediocre waiter service and very slow food service. Maybe your experience will be better on a less busy day? We were there nearly three hours not including the wait for our table.

As you walk in, you have a choice to sit inside or out. Although it was somewhat cool that day, we noticed that a portion of the outside patio area was enclosed and had heaters, so we tried that. It was quite comfortable. On to the menu ... so many great options! Especially for someone that eats GF! I went with the Neuske Bacon BLT, which was quite tasty! And my wife ordered the GF Lemon-Ricotta Buttermilk Pancakes and said they were excellent! We thought we were done, but our server suggested that we sample their GF Better Than Ben-YAYS, so we did. Oh my! It's hard to believe these are GF! So pillowy and delicious! And they also come with a choice of dipping sauces, of which we chose Rubees Hot Honey and the Caramelized Toffee. Both excellent! I think we are returning just for the Ben-YAYS alone!

Sounded good, so I ordered my favorite, a Cosmo, no call brands of liquor. As our dinner progressed, server came back to remind us that it was still happy hour so I ordered a second Cosmo. Imagine my surprise when I was presented a check with 2 Cosmos, at FULL PRICE PLUS AN ADDITIONAL SURCHARGE. Server then said martinis were not on happy hour. Seems like she could have explained that. Fast forward a year later and our dining group meets there again. This time I arrive early and go straight to the bar so that I can verify the happy hour policy. The bartender confirms that martinis are not on happy hour then explains that the additional surcharge is because a Cosmo has a splash of cranberry juice, so it's martini price plus. Never heard this before. I cheaped out and ordered a house pinot grigio. Regarding food, the visit a year ago was profoundly disappointing. That entree was described as pasta with a lobster tail. I expected to see a lobster tail but there were just a couple of very tiny pieces of supposed lobster tail that must have come from a just hatched lobster. Thankfully, the food served a few days ago was much better. The American Redfish entree was good enough to order again, if I were ever to go back.

Food is really creative, but many of the dishes are just ungodly sweet. Charred kale salad was probably the best kale salad I ever had, perfectly delicious and highly recommended. The roasted Brussels sprouts, on another hand, were really, really sweet. The French toast with duck was really creative, but again, really, really, sweet. Seafood fried rice was excellent, very tasty. The "cinnamon roll" desert was just a riot. It was huge in size and delicious to the last morsel. Excellent service, prompt and attentive. -- A Rooftop Gem Where You Feel Like Family…read more I'll be upfront -- I have social anxiety, and crowds can be genuinely overwhelming for me. My first evening up at Tigress's rooftop, I walked into a packed house with no reservation, and it was simply too much. Rather than give up, I called the restaurant shortly before close and asked about reserving a table for the following night. Just one person. What happened next genuinely surprised me. They were absolutely fabulous. Not only did they accommodate me without hesitation, they reserved me a spot in the bar area and had it ready the moment I arrived. The second I stepped off that elevator, I was greeted by name, welcomed warmly, and made to feel like I belonged there. It wasn't a restaurant experience -- it was a Cheers experience. You know the show. That's exactly what it felt like. Service was prompt and attentive from the start. My drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and when I asked for a menu recommendation, the staff guided me toward their signature crab fried rice -- and I am so glad they did. This dish is unlike anything I've had at any Thai restaurant, and I've had crab fried rice at quite a few. The blend of ingredients Tigress uses is truly special. Every element comes together in a way that feels almost magical. Worth every single penny. I've seen a few complaints about pricing, but when you consider the quality of ingredients that must go into this dish and the skill required to execute it -- the price is more than fair. Sincere applause to the entire staff for their grace and kindness. A standing ovation to the chef on duty that evening, and deep gratitude to the executive chef who curated this menu. And special recognition to the bar team -- their craft cocktails are clearly designed to complement the food beautifully. I will absolutely be back. Tigress has earned a loyal guest.

My first course a Caesar salad had some brown romaine, so I returned it though it had great flavors, but wasn't wanting to wait for a new fresh one to be made, so they took it off the bill and insisted on an immediate complimentary beet salad replacement which I took them up on. The beets and cheese part was awesome. I didn't mention it to them, but I used to be an executive chef of high end white table cloth restaurants years ago all over the SE including New Orleans, Atlanta, Tampa, so I was very impressed with their wanting to make us all extremely happy and make up for the salad mistake. The flavors in the Tuna Tare Tare, Shrimp Ceviche was incredible, and my Lamb Shank had some of the best spices I have ever tasted in a shank. Then the owner insisted on a comp baklava dessert for our mother's birthday and it was a very unique original flambe' presentation. Most of the places I was a chef at, the servers had to do old school tableside caesar with the egg yolk, dinner like Steak Diane, dessert and flambe' drinks and I realized how rare that this is these days. Many restaurants could learn from Amber Cove, as they turned a somewhat little disappointing salad start to a great evening with class.
