It started with a phone call, Collin moved heaven and earth to not only facilitate me, even when I canceled the contract for one that served my needs. But they went above and beyond to secured me a better deal. Finally the young man came to my house, promptly 9:00AM and browsed the perimeter, started spraying, then the same for the interior and trapping for mouse infestation. We had two mouse cosying up in the back of my pantry , the spice rack and under my oven. Mind you I keep a very clean house, but these little pest think they can go through holes from my backyard to the connecting pipes in my home. Well Brooks served then real good!!! lol. By the time the nice and respectful young man left I heard a commotion in my pantry, thinking the noise is coming from birds making a racket as always in the morning. Lo and behold my head snaps down, and what do I see in the back of my trapped in is a itty bitty mouse. People!! Brooks does it well and I will be seeing them once a month. And to the young man who came by, rest assured you will always have a sparkling drink waiting for you once you're done. It's the polite French equivalent of thank you. Alors! Bad experiece. There a major problem. When I went into my bedroom the bed and carpet were soaked. Apparently, he spraed the bed not around the floor. I had to take the time and use my resources to clean everything and I was touching and breathing it because I dont have the professional equipment. Brooks Pest Control sucks. They came door to door and sold what I understood to be a one time visit deal. I rent this house but was willing to pay for what I thought was a one timer . After that they kept billing monthly service however I never saw them again and that was fine. I'm a senior citizen and maybe they thought EZ prey. I've explained my position to them many times but they still threaten collections and damaging my 775 credit score as well as lawsuit. Stay as far away from these folks as you can. Crooks!! Avoid this company! Upon signing up, told them we MUST be contacted days prior to service & we pay via bill pay through our bank, no cc or check at time of service. They agreed. They consistently fail to contact (once we turned him away), and even when proof of initiating the bill pay, they keep calling for payment. One "service", he did very little spray application. When we called the company, they apologized & sent out an experienced technician who has done great. One more service to go and we can finally terminate the contract!! read more

DO NOT deal with their Fresno office. The pest control service they provided at my home was adequate for what I needed them for but everything else about how they functioned as a service company was absolutely incompetent. They were incapable of following scheduling instructions, they did not add or read notes about my account. They billed ne for a service visit that the field tech clearly stated in his visit notes that he was unable to complete the service because I wasn't home to let him in the back yard. The office staff were rude and disrespectful and I will no longer do business with them. Their customer portal web page has always been dysfunctional also. I almost went with this company because it did sound like a good deal when it was presented to me by the door salesman Jack. But I spoke to my current provider and they were able to offer me the same but for less. Plus I don't like to be on a contract. I specifically asked the salesman if it was a contract because I don't like contracts and he said " we just like for you to give us a full 12 months but that's it really". When he sent me the form to sign it was indeed a contract for 12 months. I also looked up the company and saw that the salesmen can get ugly if you decline and they are not BBB. So the next day I canceled my appointment. A few hours later the salesmen knocks on my door and rings my doorbell. I was a bit confused at first as I had already had to speak to two ppl when I called to cancel. I told him through my doorbell camera that Ihad already talked to someone & I'm ok. And he still kept trying to talk to me about it I told him again that I had already talked to someone and I was ok. He still persisted & was very pushy which quite frankly I felt very uncomfortable so I stopped responding. He said "hello hello" once he realized I wasn't talking back and then said "can I get a bottle of water while ur still here, it's hot as hell, (pause ) ok cool talk that was fun" then walks down my porch. I have cameras all around my home so I can hear and see everything. As he walks away he says "what a pain in the a**, holy sh*t bro , uuughhh dam* ppl are retar*** Man sh*t" I have all of this on video. Very unprofessional and I'm glad I did not choose this company. This service was completely misleading and they were very inadequate. The salesmen misrepresented there contract services and what pests they could eliminate. I ended up having a friend come out to eliminate the rodent. I specifically requested they mail my bills not email them but they emailed still and I never received it. Then they added late fees. I called and they finally mailed me an invoice and I wrote them and they never responded just kept adding late fees. I cannot believe the girl that jiat came to my door to switch pest control services with tbem. I told her I was working she said her tine is valuable too! What!!! She rang my ring twice and knocked on my door. When I answered she began by asking who my current pest control is. She went on to guess who we go through which is Dewey Pest Control and spoke disparagingly about them and their services. They are a local business and service probably half of my neighborhood. I initially contacted Brooks when looking for pest control services because they had a promo deal online. It was a little misleading, though, because once you read the charges, they were actually locking you into a full year of service, and if you cancelled at all in that year, you would have to pay back the full price of the "initial" service, which was over $200-$250 more. They wanted to set me up for a bi-monthly service (when I requested quarterly) and the price was just too high. They also were pushy on the phone and wanted me to sign the contract while on the phone with them before I could look it over. When I realized it would be too expensive, I had to jump through hoops to get them to actually cancel the contract (I hadn't paid yet, and it was before any service). The people I talked to were mostly nice at least. But ever since then, I've been getting multiple calls and texts from them weekly, despite me telling them I'm not interested anymore. Their service might be fine, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Read the contract thoroughly, but I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

However, they have made three trips to my property and We are still seeing plenty of ants, large black roaches and so many spiders. I go out my door with a can of Raid in my hand bc I encounter so many spiders every morning. Any the mosquitoes at night. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. The promised a service and didn't deliver. We had to call multiple times a week to speak to managers to get the "lead tech" to come out, he never did. We were promised after every conversation that he would come and they would not let us cancel the service without paying a $300 early cancellation fee despite them constantly apologizing and admitting to the bad service. Their advice was to just keep calling them to complain and hope the lead tech would come eventually. They said it's impossible to not be charge $300 to cancel and that there's no one higher in the company to speak to. Finally got it resolved by filing a complaint with the better business bureau, they are NOT accredited and have had 154 complaints through the better business bureau in the last 12 months. He continued to knock and ring the doorbell (getting my dogs riled up), so I finally took a break from my job and answered. Would not take no for an answer. When they were a new startup company, they trolled my neighborhood. I would come home from work, to find the sales guy pacing in front of my house. Creepy. Finally, just to get rid of him, I signed up for the service. That was in 2017 or 2108. I decided last year, to discontinue the service. Somehow, they've managed to continue to do the service that I neither WANT nor NEED. My credit card is like their piggy bank, I guess. Finally, enough is enough, with the cobwebs in my bougainvilla, swarms of moths everywhere, rats strolling about, etc. This time, when my credit card expired, I held back payment, demanding that they put my service cancellation acknowledgment in writing, before I pay. Only for a $240 "early cancellation fee." What's "early" about this cancellation? I refused to pay. I see that others have reported the SCAM and the "bait and switch," as well as the early cancellation fee. I have just filed a complaint with the State Attorney General's office. I urge others to do the same. Maybe a criminal complaint will be brought, if enough people file. read more

This place is a scam. They showed up to spray and I was home, so when he left so soon without actually spraying I assumed he had an emergency. I called the office to reschedule, and he told them he DID spray and its been a few hours so its already dry...but he had just left. I told them that my cameras show him only walking around with a cobweb getter and then leaving. I also reminded them that I am home and the house perimeter is completely dry but thankfully cameras don't lie. This company is very persistent to get your business - going door - to - door however, they do poor work and did not get rid of any of the insects as promised. Also, when I was laid off and fell ill, they kept after me to either have them continue service ($150) or pay for canceled contract ($200). The manager who was supposed to come with me never showed up. When I told them that I did not have the funds to pay and I was not happy with their service, they sent my account to collections. They are still sending emails to "update" my payment source even though I explained that I have since sold my home and moved out of State. DO NOT get into any contract with them! read more

Brooks Pest Control takes advantage of seniors! One of their reps stopped by to say they had a "deal" since they were going to be working in my neighborhood. I could pay a low fee for the first service and could CANCEL AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PENALTY if I did not want to continue with their service contract. Their tech did a horrible job spraying so much pesticide on my floors that I had to wipe this mess up. Ants came back the next day too. I called to cancel this service, but Brooks refuses to refund me $271 which is their EXHORBITANT CANCELLATION FEE even though I called within 3 days to cancel their services. They denied I called & ignored many emails. Their Account Mgrs. don't even try to appease a customer or work with you to resolve issues. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!! Been going through hardship with my work barely working and they pulled out 281.00 from my account that we didn't have or didn't agree to them pulling out of the account. Called Brooks to speak to management and they said they pulled out because we didn't have money to pay when they showed up.
