Long story- After months of dealing with recurring issues and growing frustration with our previous pest control company, we finally made the switch to Advantage IPM--and it was one of the best decisions we've made. The final straw came when we discovered a large, active wasp nest inside our dryer vent. Not only was it a safety concern, but it also meant we couldn't use our washer or dryer. When we contacted our existing pest control provider, they told us it would be five days before they could come out. That response was incredibly disappointing given the urgency of the situation. We reached out to Advantage IPM, and Manuel Moreno came out the very same day. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. They gave us a fair estimate and said they would come out frequently, until all of the rats were gone. Really disappointing experience with a door-to-door rep from Clark Pest Control…read more The salesperson was extremely pushy about trying to get me to switch from my current pest control company, and the whole interaction felt misleading from start to finish. The rep explained the agreement in a way that made it sound much simpler and shorter-term than it actually was, and after looking into it later, the terms did not match what was originally said at the door. I also specifically asked about certain bugs/issues around my home and was told they would be covered, only to find out those treatments apparently were not included in the package I was being sold. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the rep encouraging me to remove my card from my current pest control account instead of properly canceling service, which felt incredibly unprofessional and shady. I understand sales reps are trying to make sales, but homeowners should be given accurate information about contracts, pricing, and coverage instead of feeling pressured into signing quickly. The whole interaction felt dishonest and left a really bad impression.
