I came there from being in another Hospital for about 22 days, and I had a lot of issues going on with my health. For the two weeks I was there I was treated with such a great host of staff members in multiple positions. you all really took care of me in so many ways. I felt the concern of my well being, pleasant and joyful in serving me. From nurses, doctors, therapists, dialysis, food service, housekeeping , others in the hallways were very friendly. I know many faces, but I can't remember all the names, I am going to put up some more reviews with names that I remember. Thank you all for helping me get some much better. my prayers are with you and I would recommend your facilities.

My general practitioner sent me to this location of Brooks rehab rehabilitation after discovering…read morethat somehow I had bursitis, tendinitis, and arthritis in both my shoulders and biceps. Following further evaluation by the physical therapist, Rachel Jeffries, that was assigned to my case... I began rehab three days a week for 12 weeks. I was assigned at home exercise exercises and stretches to do as well as see the therapist three days a week in the office. You would think that the exercises and stretches that you were doing to heal your body become easier overtime, but for me, the exact opposite happened. This is not doing anything wrong. It is because I was pushing myself too hard! Rachel was a wonderful PT! Very knowledgeable and very caring in what she was trying to heal and teach me how to heal myself! She was meticulous while determining the range of motion that was increased through her help and also in researching ways that I could continue to improve while at home! While I was under the care of Brooks rehab, I never once walked into my sessions to see that they were overbooked or understaffed! Each patient received personal one-on-one care from their therapist! Rachel was always attentive and ready to correct anything I was doing incorrectly or that could be detrimental to my healing! After 12 weeks, I was released to go back to work with good improvement in both shoulders and my biceps, but not long after I returned to work I had to have rotator cuff surgery on both of my shoulders! Post surgery I absolutely would've returned to Brooks rehab, but I took the easy way out and used the physical therapy team that was attached to my doctor's office at the hospital! Either way, I would highly recommend the team at Brooks Rehab! They provided some of the best physical therapy care that I have ever received!

They made me totally reschedule. Also, I had to get my doctor to sign off on the therapy within 30 days, and the therapist didn't send the paperwork to him until the week before my 30 days were up, and that was at my reminding her. Today when my therapist called in sick again, I was told I could not reschedule due to my doctor not signing their papers. I told them it's not mine or my doctor's fault, it's the therapist and Brooks for not getting him the paperwork in a timely manner. My doctor even told me in person he would sign it, but hadn't received their paperwork. I am now in limbo, without a therapist, because they won't reschedule me until they get the signed order. I will not be going back.

The entire time our son has such a fun time that he asks to come to the appointments. They allow them to learn and develop skills but the children just think they're playing. The staff really develop a bond with the kids that's hard to find at most places. The building is a bit on the older side but they have a cute play area for the kids to entertain themselves in while they wait. Even with insurance it is a bit on the pricey side but well worth it!

Doctor was always a minimum of one hour late for appointment and never gave uplifting or hopeful outlooks. Said he would do shots as a next step but doesn't think they'll work at all. Did not help husbands outlook for his care. Finally didn't tell husband to stop baby aspirin prior to shots went there and staff was completely rude about it saying," haha, nope! Not today, you need to reschedule." So, between the lack of communication from staff and negative impact from the doctor we've decided to cut our losses and go elsewhere. Took it as a sign. Dr. Mounsaro did not seem confident and never on time.

My mother was admitted to this center to be administered an antibiotic intravenously for 21 days…read more Her overall care was consistent and was administered medications as needed and directed. Meals were delivered according to nutrition needs, physical therapy was also well received by my mother. The negative experience lies in her discharge procedures as well as lack of communication with the Director of Nursing Angie and Case Manager Jenny. Her discharge required portable oxygen as well as set up for home oxygen she was released with neither and was lied to that we simply had to call and they will deliver it. It was confirmed by the company they never received the requests. She was prolonged a procedure for several days to remove a tic and was transported twice to a hospital to have it removed without confirmed scheduling resulting in her being left once and I had to Uber her back to Life Care. The D.O.N Angie and Case Manager Jenny never returned calls and once confronted released they were telephoning a number that was never given to Them upon intake from my mother, myself or St Vincent where she was prior to being released there. She was discharged without three vital life threatening medications causing her to miss doses and resulting her being in the hospital upon arrival. If you have any other options please choose them. We have filed a formal complaint with AHCA and our family attorney has admonished us to build a case and we are.

We have found two other AO Drs in our area, but their level of care just does not compare to that of Dr. Mark Pierce Chiropractic. Their more all-natural approach to chiropractic care (Atlas Orthogonal) was known to my husband but foreign to me. I instantly felt relaxed and comfortable with Dr. Pierce. My X-rays showed that my spine was indeed out of alignment, most likely due to everyday living - poor posture and sleep habits. And Dr. Pierce instantly noticed that my atlas was "red hot" and asked if I ever felt discomfort there (at the base of the neck). I said, "Of course, all of the time.
