We were in search of a small type of gravel, from a particular type of stone and San Jacinto Stone was the only store nearby that had what we wanted! We arrived and the place was absolutely spectacular, very clean, organized, and they had a great selection of landscaping plants. They have two offices where you can pay, one in the front towards where the nursery is and one in the back, located near the stone selection. We got the 1/4 inch black star gravel for about $400 for to cubic yards, which was a bit pricey compared to the crushed granite we purchased from another distributor for about $75 a cubic yard. I don't know anything about stone and I don't know which one is better so I can't say whether the price was reasonable but we really needed and they were the only ones in the area that had it so we got it. I will say that their client selection is incredible, but you do have to be a business owner in order to purchase any greenery, and that's the reason I rated this place for stars.

They were not the cheapest bid (in the middle), but WAY below the highest bid, so overall, I would say their pricing is fair. Where they really stood out was quality, customer service, and design. The owner (Angel) did the install himself, and we was fantastic! Very thoughtful about how and where to place the lights, and most importantly, he was VERY thoughtful about how/where to place the underground wires (including a wiring diagram) - this is critical for the long-term care and maintenance of your system. He was careful about where to place wires, especially in high dig areas (flower beds, etc.). Also, they use high quality, solid brass fixtures from the industry's best provider (Kichler). I am SO glad we chose Texans Outdoor Lighting - they did a superb job at a fair price! The house looks beautiful at night! We highly recommend them! Also - Angel is totally honest and ethical! He pointed out that I had over calculated by $100 and would have overpaid - he corrected it! So trustworthy. He says what he will do and does what he says. The way business should be done. We would definitely use them again.

During the installation it rained on one of the days he was supposed to be there and even despite the weather issues was still able to complete the installation on time. He really tries to work around your schedule and meet the deadline agreed upon. Additionally, we agreed on a wiring configuration so wires near outdoor sconces on a pole would not show. He came up with an even better configuration that far surpassed my expectations. I am extremely impressed with the service, the quality of the pictures and will be going back to him when we expand our outdoor light. It's hard to find someone you can trust who will give you their honest opinion, charge a fair price, and quickly and professionally install. They even have a lifetime warranty on the fixtures. I am so glad I came across this company and highly recommend!
