Worried so far. Ordered a 5k order of residential lawnmower, trailer, and other things same day delivery, by the cutoff time despite having to call the online customer support to finish the order. Was given the number to the store that would be handling the order and delivery. six hours later, no online change of tracking information just "being prepared", I call the store to find out the manager cant tell me when the order will be delivered, and all i can do is wait for a call from the driver, of which she also didnt know when that would be. She tells me the store is backed up with 50 other orders, and they only have one driver and it will take the big truck. One driver? One delivery driver? No automatic relay of the order to another location that can handle the delivery and has the items in stock? Just left in total darkness without any idea at that location or the online customer service that i called again to see if they had any insight. all they could do is call the store themselves and heard the same story verifying that it is typical and is a corporate policy to only have 1 delivery driver at each location. thats embarrassing, and certainly not local store management fault. I'm worried about if i will get a complete mower in new condition.. so much for same day delivery, at least the guy online waived the 70 dollar delivery fee. no prioritization of large dollar items, no update or sms messages updating any change in delivery or status of delivery either online or via sms. Sitting here a day later with "wait for a call from the delivery driver" as my answer. I wanted to avoid this whole thing with the big box stores and look at what i stepped into... WE WILL SEE... I will be glad to turn this review into a glowing praise of Kiera and the TSC team at the Katy location and corporate policy that hobbles them,, but so far? Keeping my fingers crossed but not hopeful. UPDATE: later this morning get a text message stating delivery is on its way.. estimated arrival by 2pm YES!!!! EXCITED!!!,,, oh then i go online a little later in the day, and its now by 5pm... hmmmm...... such a good feeling to then be ZOINK,, not so fast buddy.. still keeping fingers crossed.. will let you know how it goes.. very hopeful though, c'mon Kiera.. kick it for me!! I know y'all can do it!!! -------LAST UPDATE-----SUCCESS!!! A day after order the mower arrived with everything else in perfect condition, new, gleaming glorious and glowing. I stand and applaud the team at Katy on FM1434 and bow to the excellence exhibited by Kiera, manager of the Garden and Tractor department for pulling that off for me. The delivery driver was a good guy and gave me the option to deliver around 7 or the next morning. Very cool. Excellence all around and Im now glad that I purchased this and chose the delivery option at this Tractor Supply Co location. Happy customer! Will certainly do business again. I don't know why I keep coming to this place. Every time I come they don't smile at all. The only people who smiles are the men who work at the back of the store. This time I called and asked if they had a certain item in the store and of course the answer was no and she hung up not even saying thank you for calling tractor supply or anything not even goodbye. I'm telling you these people who work at the front these ladies are rude. I'm writing this review to bring serious attention to an ongoing issue at both the Bridgeland and Tomball Tractor Supply Co. locations regarding the use of the pet wash station. Every time we've made the effort to drive out -- often 30 minutes each way -- with our baby and our dog, we've been met with repeated refusals from employees to use the pet wash. The excuses vary each time: "It's under maintenance," "We're about to close," "Someone else is using it," or vague reasons that feel more like avoidance than valid operational concerns. On several occasions, we weren't even allowed to check the pet wash ourselves to verify the claims. It's extremely frustrating and frankly feels like the staff simply doesn't want to deal with customers using that service. As loyal customers who have chosen TSC for both pet supplies and convenience, it's incredibly disappointing to receive this kind of treatment -- not once, but multiple times, across different locations. The lack of accountability and consistency in customer service is unacceptable. I hope this review brings this issue to the attention of store management and the corporate team. The pet wash is one of the advertised features that brings people into your stores -- please ensure your employees are trained to either provide the service as promised or communicate honestly and respectfully with your customers. read more

Tons of parking!!! we come here regularly for bales of hay for our sheep. I will say that they do supply a lot of the FFA kids in the area so if you were going for hay, please call and ask if they have some prior to going. I've put myself in a couple pickles before. The service is great whenever I get bales of hay, they help load them into my car, which is crazy cause I'm so used to having to throw them in the bed of my truck and now that I drive us to sedan it's a lot harder to load. They have great prices. They have a huge selection on feed for your animals. They even have food for your dogs if you'd like to look at ingredients I know my sister-in-law comes to this location as well to buy food for her Frenchies. I love tractor supply would definitely recommend the store if you have any farm animals that are not on a commercial levels scale or if you have dogs or if you just want some Christmas decorations, it's crazy they have a farmhouse style for decor. read more

I came to the Katy Tractor Supply today for duck food. Other locations were out. I walked in and they have totally cleaned up and rearranged the entire store. It is much more eye appealing and the flow to the cashiers is a 1000 times better. Before you had to do a maze to get to the registers. The best part is they built on outside. You pay for what you need and drive to the side of the building and they load it for you. The loading area is 2 lanes and is covered. This is way more efficient. Love the organization!!! The stars are for the store. The service is still an area that needs some improvement. With the price of corn going up almost $4.00 a bag; my sweet little duck friends might have to go on a diet. Whether you want to work on your garden, raise domestic livestock, or get a trailer to start your landscaping biz; it's all here. My daughter raised rabbits for FFA: Tractor Supply feed and housed them. My Tundra needed a toolbox for the rear bed: Tractor Supply has choices In aluminum and fiber plastic. We wanted heaters for the rear porch: Tractor supply had both gas and wood pits and heater lamps. Tools, wardrobe and garden gnomes (seasonal) can be had at Tractor Supply. Still, I can walk out empty handed but still enjoy a yonder trip to Tractor Supply. Guess that makes me a hick. read more

Staff always displays southern hospitality and country kindness. They're helpful as Ace with big box prices. Best priced Hardware in town, cause it's by the pound. Slice your nut/bolt cost in half by shopping here instead of anywhere else. Plus they are great about accepting your leftovers for a refund. Best selection of pets and agricultural products around, especially food/feed except for maybe Pet Smart for dogs. TSC has won my business on all my fence and gates for my commercial outdoor Storage Lot and the cheap $79 12' tube gates have been used and abused for 11 years and are still in service. I get my straps and rigging gear here cause the quality exceeds Harbor Freight with similar prices, and better selection. We had fun raising and caring for TSC chicks to chickens for a few years and always had all the support we needed from staff, products, and feed. I dropped $4,500 on the most expensive mower I've ever bought. A 60" zero turn Bad Boy Ez mower. Changed my life. Mowing has been a pleasure for the past 5 years instead of a chore. I threw down $400 for the longest warranty they offered cause we all have to fight our mowers in the spring, but not me. My only compliant is that when I'd send it in for warranty repairs the subcontracted repair place in Magnolia would have my mower for 30-60 days; so I learned to send it in each fall. They'd replace all the squeaking bearings and pulleys free. It's 5 yrs old now and I've yet to fight gummed up gas or spark plugs; just dead batteries, flats, and blades I've dulled using as a bush hog. Tried out the new pet was station today and was impressed. No mess to clean at home, no drain to unplug, no towels to wash & dry, and all the supplies in mass quantities. My dog doesn't usually enjoy conditioning or blow drying so it's a step up. My back also appreciated being able to wash the little dog without bending over. I could go on and on about the great folks that work their, the attitude you'd expect from a polite cowboy or cowgirl, and the cool products I've picked up there. This is the WORST customer service EVER. They are dishonest and lazy. We bought a generator from them on Thursday. Opened it today (Saturday) to find it missing half of the pieces, and it covered in spider's eggs, dirt, etc - it was obviously VERY used. We called, and they basically told us it was our problem. They were out of that generator, they didn't have the parts, and we could call different stores to see if they had it and exchange it. Sure. We'll waste our ENTIRE Saturday getting ready for a HURRICANE because you were dishonest and sold us something used without all the parts AND you refused to offer any help to solve the problem (like driving the TWO HOURS to get the nearest one). After we wasted the time calling around (and found someone ELSE at ANOTHER store nice enough to look it up for us on their computer, which the Katy location could have done instead of making us call around), they refused to answer the phone. Farmers have to own working breed dogs and can only feed their working dogs the best dog food. Blue diamond is the only thing good enough for my pooches. They sell all the typical farming ware plus clothing! They also have low cost vaccination every third Saturday of the month for your pets! read more

Talk about variety. I had to stop in for a tractor part and there was everything from feed and seed to minibikes. Clean store with a helpful staff. They may be a little more pricy on some items but they are a one stop shop. Someone earlier wrote that they were the redneck Walmart and i think that is spot on. Even if you don't need anything you should stop in to see the variety. There are also some rather unusual products that will make you laugh by the register. We are local farmers with a small (30 acre) organic farm. We shop here twice monthly. I have to admit that I have never written a review, good or bad, before. However we just keep having problems with the sales staff at this store. Today my husband went in to get 20 bags of alfalfa pellets, which is our monthly supply and also the place where we receive a price break bulk buying. When he asked the sales associate for help he was told there was NO alfalfa despite the fact that 9 bags were in plain sight. When he pointed this out he was told those were the only bags. After past experiences he knows to check stock before making the drive and knew that there were 20 bags in stock. When he said so the fellow told him they were being held for another customer. Since the last problem led to him being assaulted by a store employee he went straight for a manager. Of course it turned out that they did indeed have the product and it was indeed for sale. At hearing this the sales associate became angry and grumbled and slammed his way all through loading the bags. Nice store, great products but I plan to shop at a different location from now on. read more

After moving to Texas six months ago, I have been pleased that everyone I meet has been friendly and polite..........until I went into this store. I have now met the only two rude and arrogant Texans, and they both work at this store. As a new homeowner, I was in search of a particular size of chain link dog kennel for my Dalmatian and my pointer, and they were the only store that had them in stock. First of all, the website states that they are open at 7am on Saturdays, like most other TS locations. However, when I arrived the sign on the door states that they open at 8 - OK - minor inconvenience, right? Secondly, when I did go into the store after waiting an hour to make sure that they still did have them in stock, I was told that I couldn't pay for the kennel and then go home and get my truck. I mean that I would have been gone for about 30-40 minutes and they would have had my money.....how does this policy make any sense? But it was not so much the policy itself as it was their rude, arrogant, and 'you are obviously bothering me' attitude that they had during the whole encounter. Two words for you two mensa members - 'customer service' - I'd be happy to give you a definition if you are unfamiliar with this concept, and I'll even use small words so you can understand me. Definitely will not be back, I'll drive the extra few miles to go to another TS store. read more

went here and bought a kennel for my dog then when I got home I seen it was only one piece in the box . So I went back the next morning and talked to this nice woman who was also there the day before and seen . Then a man that goes by "BRADY" he is one of the managers . As she is telling him the problem he didnt ask any questions he said "I seriously dought that yall need to come back with the whole kennel" As his co worker than began saying he felt the box and something wasnt right before we even purchased . I do think harshly that it was discrimination and have my lawyer calling them tmr. Most unprofessional place ever . I love this store. I went in for something small one time, and at the register realized that I had left my wallet at home, and the clerk offered to pay for my item out of his own pocket! I managed to find my checkbook and paid...but still, you don't run into people like that every day. I go here for all of my equestrian needs. If they don't have it in store, I order it and they get it within a few days. The prices are good, selection is good, and the staff are amazing. read more

I have to get down and dirty now and again, so I came to Tractor Supply. Now, it's kind of like an old-fashioned country store, with a bit of everything. Embarrassed to admit, I bought John Deere tractor baby socks that were so adorable for a baby shower. Hope I don't get shown the door! It has pet food, yard implements, pasture gates, canning supplies, hunting gear & supplies, on & on. It's right off I10, close to Katy, lots of free parking, friendly help. Love it here! read more

On April, 24, 2021, I ordered a generator on TSC's website.  The website states that the generator will ship within 2 days, which I was good with, and would be delivered on my doorstep on May 7, 2021 between 10am-2pm.  On April 28, 2021, I received an e-mail that the generator has shipped.  On the 29th, I received an e-mail that the order has been delayed.  Still no tracking history available.  On the 30th, I finally am able to to start tracking the generator.  I find that the generator arrived at the pick-up location in Fontana, CA. on the 30th, where it was loaded on a truck, then taken off the truck in Fontana, CA. on May 5, 2021.  It was loaded back on a truck that same day and traveled 180 miles to Blythe, CA. where it is at of today, May 6, 2021.  Also, on May 5, 2021, I received an e-mail stating my order was scheduled to be delivered...I'm guessing to another shipping hub in California.   I called TSC customer helpless desk and tried to cancel my order and receive a refund.  Was told that I had to wait until the package arrived at my house, which is now slated for May 12, 2021, to get the refund, or have it shipped to the store, at which time I would receive a refund.   I was also told that my generator sat at the shipping depot for a week before being loaded.   They were kind enough to refund my $139.99 shipping fee immediately, although I have yet to see it on my CC account.  This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had with any online service.  That's what I get from straying away from Amazon.  Definitely won't happen again and will never set foot in another TSC store. read more

We have always had a great experience from the Katy store In the last few months there has been a change in managers and possibly some other employees, They have been most kind in letting our local VFW Post 1982 set up to distribute poppies to enable us to help veterans and their families. Kyle is the manager and he is dishonest. I tried to buy an electric pump he said they match prices, I showed him 5 ads from different stores, he kept finding excuses not to match the prices. At one point he was going to match and said let me look at that ad again, and then said it was a different model than the box, I opened the box and showed him the pump was exactly the same ( ad did not have a box). He refused to match any of the ads. He said they would match any price in that store. That is False advertising and not only is it dishonest it is illegal. Zero stars read more
