A small family apple orchard, it prides itself on organic produce and low spray apples. The also have unpasteurized apple cider which for me, is the best and the most flavorful. As it was late in the season, we picked our own bag from off the tree's and the ground for a bargain of .50cents a pound. We also got gallon of cider. I also spied produce,homemade pies, cookies, and preserves. I loved how they used an old scale to weigh the apples. So cool! This is a special place, and reminded me of my childhood in Vermont when I used to go to the local cider mill where all the locals and yellow jackets gathered.

She couldn't speak English and just pointed at the bread and began giggling, as did the other worker next to her. I asked again and asked if there was anybody that spoke English. She called over a guy who apparently didn't speak English either. I asked him and he did the same - pointed at the bread, while the two girls giggled. There was no Anadama bread and apparently no English. This is poor customer service. If you're going to hire workers who can't speak English, they shouldn't be dealing with customers. It's very frustrating trying to communicate with people that can't understand and act disrespectfully to customers. I emailed the business to express my disappointment and frustration with my experience but have heard nothing back which is a further disappointment. Update: After another attempt at contacting them, this time via FACEBOOK, I heard back immediately and was taken seriously and assured it would be dealt with. She explained that those workers are bakers and aren't required to speak fluent English but will still talk with them about what happened.

Primarily due to the fact that I normally pick up fresh eggs from my bestie in Derry, I ended up searching for a contingency plan in the event she was already sold out on her end. Such was the case today. First, a caveat: if you're happening by this store southbound, the parking lot entrance will be the second turn on the right just past the store itself. It can be a little confusing due to the second logo sign on the side of the warehouse building which, to newcomers, may appear to be an entrance point. I have no idea if and what they keep back there (probably just extended storage), but from what I could ascertain, the main store is the smaller building in the center of it all. Naturally, the interior is (like I said) small and pretty unassuming, if I'm being entirely accurate. What you see is what you get and this is a good thing. Because everything looked pretty fresh and tasty to me. I possess neither the space nor memory to recall every last item they have here. But in addition to extra large fresh eggs, they also feature baked goods (to include my all time favorite - FUDGE!!) and real maple syrup. That's right! None of that synthetic, overly sugary crap for us true New Englanders. This, and other grocery stores like it, are the places we go when we want true, authentic maple syrup. So anyways, I was here for the eggs. Now, I may be writing this review prematurely since I haven't exactly tasted the eggs yet. But from what I can tell, this place is legit. They even have Apple and Google pay, which actually surprised me. The Yelp page didn't list this as a viable option at the time of writing this review. I will certainly be submitting an update recommendation to the powers that be. The staff were quite friendly and approachable. Didn't really stay long to chat or anything though. Those were just my first impressions. The location is tucked away, but easy to get to. It also appears they have quite the local following. So, I definitely will return. At some point, I'd really like to get my hands on that peanut butter fudge and genuine maple syrup. Can't really recommend this place any harder for picking up fresh produce and treats.
