Stopped in on our way to camping to meet new people and enjoyed an amazing lunch and exceptional service! Only downside was that the restaurant is a bit noisy. I enjoyed a pastrami sandwich that was sooo good, Wayne had a Rachel that was just as good. Our new companions had fish tacos, all perfectly prepared. We had a nice light Gruner, perfect for the sandwiches. Brought half the sandwich home for dinner but enjoyed looking at the desserts - next time!

Go here for delicious true homemade food! Get the Buddha bowl! Hub had the pastrami and loved it and even the fries were fresh and home cut! We sat outside this cute quaint spot which is located amidst a little downtown antique shopping area and were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed this place more than the fancy place we ate at in Portland! The service was on point providing extra water and napkins before we even inquired. Check out how gorgeous and fresh the food is from my pictures! I'm not sure why I have to travel all the way to Maine and can't get a meal like this in NJ!! Why?!!! Love this place and would come back in a heart beat and try all the things!

We had lunch at Kristas seated at the bar. The food was amazing. Great wine and beer selection also. I had the marinated roast beef sandwich on focaccia bread. The coleslaw as my side. There were also homemade pickles on the plate. It was a very large sandwich! So good! Every plate of food that passed by me looked yummy. Hard to choose as it all looked great!

Early birthday dinner at one of my favorite places. We had bacon wrapped scallops as an appetizer. Scallops melt in your mouth. We both had the pistacio crusted baked haddock over lemon basmati rice. Also came with broccoli spears, asparagus, carrot and orange pepper. So much food. This came with the house salad which is to die for. Made with spring greens topped with hand it onion crumbs, dried cranberries, sliced almonds and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. They also give you their house bread; which was rosemary spiced. We ordered 2 desserts (cannolli and a hearh car chease cake) to go (as I already had 1/2 my dinner in my to-go container and can enjoy a repeat meal tomorrow on my birthday)

Way too big for my kid we had to make home dinner after me got home it looks like a full chicken very very very very disappointed.

This was my first time to Krista's and I hope it will not be my last! The portions are HUGE and I'm pretty sure this is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The only change I would make is I got it with peanut sauce and next time I think I would go with a different kind. Service is friendly and quick and the inside is very cute and comfortable. The parking lot is a little small but we didn't have any trouble finding street parking 2 blocks away.

This great little place tucked away in Cornish, Maine is definitely worth the ride if you're not a local but make sure you have a reservation, It took us two weeks to reserve a table for six. The food is creative, fresh and nicely presented. Portion size is more than generous and prices are very reasonable. Everyone at our table ordered a different entree and there wasn't one unhappy camper in our group. The seared scallops are to die for and I highly recommend any scallop dish they happen to have on the menu. They were cooked to perfection. The prime rib was huge and my brother-in-law couldn't get through half of it. Again, cooked perfectly. The Brussel sprout appetizer is a great choice as is the fried calamari. For great food, great service, and cozy ambience - this is the place to go. I guarantee you this place won't disappoint.. Bon appétit

This is such a cute little restaurant. Very old building and the floors are slanted . It has a lot of charm. Food is amazing and waitress Julie was awesome! They have gluten free rolls for those who have dietary issues. I could barely fit the harvest sandwich in my mouth. The harvest sandwich is turkey cranberries cheese and apple slices It was so big, so delicious. I took half home. It is also served with some homemade pickles and delicious hand cut french fries. My husband got the roast beef sandwich on a gluten-free bun and he said it was absolutely delicious.

My family and I go up to Point Sebago every year, and our favorite restaurant to go to is always Krista's (especially after a little antique shopping!). The restaurant has a fun antique-theme with cool stuff on the walls. The staff are always so friendly, service is always fast, and the food is SO good! Couldn't recommend this place more.

Our booth was comfortable, and the appearance of the dining room is improved (cleaner, brighter, smooth floors and tables) from our last visit (over 2 years ago). Three orders of fried clams. One order of chicken parm on pasta. Servings were huge!! Fries were hot and fresh. Drinks didn't break the bank (1 wine and 1 Lone Pine beer, 2 sodas). We ordered a side of chicken tenders thinking they would be hand made and they were the same flat, frozen chicken tenders you get at a pizza joint. The amount of food you get has been reduced to mostly undercooked French fries. When the plate comes out you think WOW until you eat the first layer of seafood and find a huge amount of fries underneath. I did notice the place was pretty empty and can understand why now. We used to have to wait in line to get in. So sad that a place that was so good is now just another lowered quality place to eat. Our server was outstanding which is a plus.

This place was recommended by an older local couple that we love to visit every time we come to the area First of all, GENEROUS wine pours. I was happily shocked and buzzed after one glass of Malbec. Second, the servings of food are not small. We noticed other tables taking their leftovers in to-go containers. Baby, we're not in Kansas anymore (NYC). And lastly, the food is so fresh and delicious--the menu changes seasonally and is sourced from local farms, of course! Apps: Pan seared scallops over homemade crisp potato cakes, fresh corn puree, and a red pepper coulis--divine. Charred grilled octopus with heirloom tomatoes, cannellini beans, sweet red peppers, castelvetrano olives, and grilled lemon--an absolutely elevated cephalopod. Entrees: Roasted statler chicken with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts, and cipollini onions surrounded by a garlic white wine pan jus--very mild bird and excellent sauce And my favorite... Filet mignon seared perfectly rare, with mashed potatoes mixed with blue cheese crumbles, wilted greens, more caramelized cipollinis, all topped with a red wine demi glaze We were so well taken care of--the meal, the service, the view!!! We'll happily take another 6 hour drive just to return and do it again. Cheers!

A nice cozy setting with comfort food, to boot. We were seated in the back room, with a great view of the mountains. They took the time to add a little diagram of which ones you were looking at. {See Pictures}. Many years ago, I worked at a very waspy/blue blood Country Club, where the food resembled the menu. Old American standards that stood the test of time. However, at Oxford House, they aren't afraid to experiment with ingredients outside of the norm. Like Charred Grilled Octopus and Pan Seared Scallops over Crispy Potato Cakes; which were our appetizers. For entrees, we had Filet Mignon and Roasted Chicken. (See photos for complete description). The bread basket was a nice added bonus. We were quite full but had to try, and split, one dessert. Maine Blueberry Pie À la Mode. Which was the right choice. As we watched the sun go down, it was a perfect end to our vacation. Next time, I'll try and get a table on the large front porch. Honorable Mention: They pour a nice glass of wine (4 Fingers)

My chowder came out first. It was absolutely delicious! Our meals came out shortly thereafter. my wife's Panini was huge as were the french fries which I jokingly called potato logs.
