Chuck came out and explained in detail how the two antennas on the mast were not oriented correctly, and how there were some dead spots or weaker signals in our area. He tested both antennas, determined which one was better to receive the channels we wanted, and expertly realigned the best antenna and adjusted the cables. Spectrum is engaging in deceptive billing practices, specifically a tactic known as "bill cramming"--adding paid services to your account without your permission. A few months ago, I called to set up Internet and TV services. The sales representative told me I qualified for a promotion for a "free mobile service line for one year." I accepted the free line. What they CONVENIENTLY failed to mention, and what I never authorized or gave permission for, was that the agent snuck a paid monthly "Mobile Insurance/Device Protection Plan" onto that supposedly free account. Because I was told the mobile plan was 100% free, I didn't notice the hidden, unauthorized insurance surcharge for six months. When I finally caught the charge and called customer service to voice my concerns, things got even worse. Even after escalating the call to a supervisor, Spectrum flat-out refused to issue a full refund for the charges their own agent fraudulently placed on my account. They would only credit back a single month. Essentially, they got caught adding unauthorized fees to my bill and told me I could only have a fraction of my money back. Since Spectrum refuses to take accountability for their deceptive trade practices, I have officially filed formal corporate billing complaints with the FCC and my State Attorney General. If you are signing up for their "free" promotions, check your bill immediately. They will sneak unapproved charges onto your bank draft and then hide behind their "corporate policy" to keep your money when they get caught. Absolute scam behavior.

When no equipment or installers arrived, I spent an hour and a half on the telephone trying to sort it out. The four people I spoke with all apologized and couldn't understand why or how it had been canceled. An email arrived advising that I was to do a self install, although no equipment has ever been sent and it would be impossible for me to install FIOS! Another install was scheduled and assurances made that the installers would in fact come the following week July 10, and the equipment would be there prior to that date. When no equipment arrived and they did not show for a 2nd time today, I called in to cancel. 6 different people all politely apologized to me and tried to assure me that they would come on a third scheduled appointment on the 12th! Seriously? Imagine my surprise when I received a bill today from Frontier for services started on July 5 ( original scheduled install date) Dennis in the retention department finally was able to cancel my order, cancel my account, and request credit removing all charges. Yet it will be 7-10 days for approval, he tells me not to pay this account, and there shouldn't be a problem. I have an order confirmation # and it won't be a surprise to me if I have to follow up on this also. I have no confidence in Frontier after so many blunders and wasted time. My service was never even started, but they are billing me for it. Each time I have had to call in, it take several people and about an hour and a half transferring you between departments. Do you have time for this? I would hope this organization takes a real look at their lack of communication between departments and becomes more proactive than apologetic.

Her bad attitude and unprofessional "I don't care and it is not my problem" attitude will never work in Central Florida, we have worked too hard to waste our money. I am saddened by this company! There are plenty of alarm and monitoring companies that do keep up with the changing technology and do so with a smile and good attitude. Don't choose this one!
