It is located in a small strip center right next to a major apartment complex. I was pet sitting in the apartments so I would stop by after a shift to get some acai. Let me tell you, these acai bowls are amazing. Many times açaí bowls are made in what I would call smoothie fashion - very runny, like someone just put a smoothie in a bowl and called it a day. But this açaí was creamy and tart, like a sherbet, and they were very generous with toppings. They use natural sugars (honey, etc) so it still felt light even though there was a ton of fiber and filling toppings. I miss Liv's! Hopefully I can visit again if I'm in the area.

Unlike most places, the peanut butter was drizzled on the top which was a nice surprise. My only suggestion would be to have an option of how much you want drizzled on top since it was a little heavy for my own preference (still delicious). The staff was friendly and even delivered your meal to your table. While there arent a ton of seats inside, we had no issues finding a place to sit, even with another family there. I've been coming to this açaí shop and was disappointed by my recent experience. They have a…read moreloyalty card that clearly states that after buying 10 açaí bowls, you receive one 300 ml açaí for free. The card does not show an expiration date. When I made my purchase, I asked for a sticker to continue using the loyalty card, but I was told that they no longer use that system. I understand that businesses can change their loyalty programs, but if the cards are still being handed out and there is no expiration date or notice that the program has ended, customers should be given some reasonable accommodation for the purchases they were previously making under that program. What was most disappointing was that the employee I spoke with did not seem willing to offer even a small gesture to make up for the discrepancy. It wasn't about getting something for free--it was about honoring what was presented to customers and providing good customer service. I hope management takes a look at this policy and considers honoring existing loyalty cards or at least offering customers a fair alternative when a program is discontinued without an expiration date.

Taste-wise, I thought it was great. The acai is on the sweeter side compared to other places I've tried, which is fine for me, but may not be for everyone. The smallest size came in at a total of $13.81, which is a bit more expensive than I would've liked but not bad every once in a while. Some places don't let you build your own so I appreciated that this place gave set options as well as allowing you to customize your own bowl. They seem to have a rewards program as well.
