We recently started getting more food, and their chicken strips are fried fresh and nice and juicy. Unfortunately the 7-11 next door has decided to expand their gas station and that means this restaurant will be closing in the next few months. Castaic has 8 gas stations so I don't know why the heck they feel that they need another one over closing this small business. This sweet husband and wife work hard here and I'm sad to see them lose their business. So please support them until they close.

We were told it would be out in just a minute and then a couple minutes later, the manager had to come out and let us know it would be another 30 minutes. At that point, we had to leave as we had someplace to be and we're already running late. 50 minutes for two açai bowls does not make any sense. There an option for easy sweet but none for light ice. The barista station is right next to the kiosk so I think they heard me when I told my wife about not having the option for light ice. The kiosk want you to add tip but if you don't then select the custom tab and then change the amount to your preference because it will automatic go to 10%. Run by Mitch, Gooey Treats is a specialty Rice Krispies spot with great energy behind the counter and some solid sweets. We grabbed a four pack--two s'mores and two fruity. The s'mores one really caught me off guard. I didn't expect it to be that good, but it definitely hit. Mitch's service is amazing. She greeted us with a smile, took care of us the whole time, and even while we sat back watching her make the order, she gave that same energy to every customer. You can tell she really enjoys what she does. I also like her whole setup--the branding, the logos, the Gooey Monsters... it all fits.
