Hurt is an understatement!!! This place took a precious momento and ruined it. I waited 20 years to have a wedding and the dress of my dreams! The fact that my daughters may not be able to wear it one day is crushing. All I wanted was for my dress to be dry cleaned and preserved. A $6500 dress now has water stains and missing beads and was hanging on a cheap plastic hanger by the beaded hanging shoulder straps instead of the special hanging straps. They never called me but swear they called and emailed me non of which I recieved. They only offered excuse after excuse! They didn't even to offer to fix the issue. When I told them I was going to call the news they told me to take the dress. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHING HERE!!!! Poor service and customer service!!!! read more

I have been using the cleaners nearest my house for years. The quality of service continued to worsen, so I decided I would drive to the nearest Brothers Cleaners. What a difference! It started with the polite and professional counter people. I was treated as if they appreciated my business. When I mentioned this was my 1st time there, I was given an envelope with coupons and brochures on services. I also appreciated that they asked for my email address so I could be contacted when the order was ready. When I returned, I again got the friendly counter service. Order was neatly on hangers, with my 8 dress shirts divided into three bags - not all clumped into one bag as done at the previous place. I was advised to bring my Maid of Honor dress to the North Ridge Brothers, for a clean and press before the wedding the following Sunday. I took the dress in on Thursday, and explained my time constraint and told them specifically that I needed my dress the next day. My ticket said the dress was due the next day at 5:30pm. The next day, they said they'd have it Tuesday. WHAT!? Do they understand how WRONG that is? They sent me to the Atlantic location, and the ladies there were very helpful. Despite the fact that they couldn't find it at their location, they still managed to locate the dress at the North Ridge location. I drove back to North Ridge to find my dress hanging up front, looking worse than I dropped it off. All I got from Allen, was a "you're good to go". I would never go back and I will never recommend this. My friends who recommended this place will also not be returning. The managers need to improve employee service and ticket processing. I think the managers should be embarrassed. The only redeeming point was their helpful and understanding female employees at the Atlantic location working this evening... I only wish I'd got their name so I could tell their manager. read more

I have found that 25% of garments still have unclean odors after dry-cleaning once ... sometimes even twice. Our family brought in a garment with urine/sweat odor. Unfortunately it still smelled after a dry-cleaning so I brought it back a second time for a re-do. Still the same after the redo. I plan to switch companies. On a positive note: I have never had anything damaged (including fancy decorative buttons) at Brothers Cleaners. Also, their drivers are extremely nice and friendly. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before using Brothers in North Hills. They got black axle grease on the lapel of a tan Polo sport jacket. When I pointed it out, they were friendly about it and took it back in for a "do over." When I got it back, it appeared clean, but now, a couple months later, the fabric is bleached out in that spot AND the grease stain is reappearing. I contacted them online asking how I could initiate a claim for this, and did not get a response at all. They are obviously not interested in making this right. Brothers Cleaners is my dry cleaning place of choice, they are always friendly and greet me with a smile. The service they provide is second to none. My clothes come back to me in amazing condition, now i will say their are very pricey but for great service and great quality of work its well work it. When your clothes are done they send out an email alerting you that its ready to be picked up. read more

Brothers is a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for -- in my experience, they're the most thorough and meticulous dry cleaner in the area. We've sent them everything from suits to comforters, and have never had a single complaint... though I do wish they were open later than 2pm on Saturdays! read more

tried them out a couple of times - on their recommendation had them not only press our fine linens but also clean them...BAD DECISION...DO NOT trust them. The linens came back torn + with a seriously bad attitude from the driver when we kindly expressed our concern...defensive, rude + accusatory. We have also had instances of sending out a bag of belongings + everything coming back at random different times - a piece of the suit this week, part of our sheet set the next. they must be very disorganized + messy. read more

Absolute WORST EXPERIENCE with these people. 3 out of 4 items I took to be dry cleaned were RUINED beyond repair. I had to go back and forth with the owner of Brothers to give me some kind of compensation or my ruined, quite expensive lace blouse that some staff member carelessly threw into a dryer when it distinctly says DO NOT DRY on the tag. He told me that the shirt "looked old anyway" thus only giving me HALF of what I originally paid for it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LEATHER THERE. My black genuine leather jacket came back GREY. Dropped off 13 shirts and got 12 back. No options or apology given. All they said was "maybe we miscounted when you dropped them off". I watched them count. I had purchased a second-hand duvet cover and shams, expecting to throw away the items filling them. Unexpectedly I discovered a very expensive goose down comforter inside the duvet cover. It was stained and smelled musty. I thought it was a lost cause. The folks at Brothers explained the risks of washing a down-filled product, but said that they thought they could get it clean and smelling good. Four days later - a beautifully cleaned, fresh smelling, very fluffy down comforter! Thanks Brothers! read more

Brought some shirts in to be dry cleaned and they ended up LOSING 3 SHIRTS. I never thought things like this still happened. Apparently they ship out a lot of their items to another location, but that is a sad excuse for losing a customer's expensive clothing. Wish I would have read the reviews before going here. Larry, one of Brother's driver is wonderful, professional and friendly. Whenever I need or have a question, he always has the answers.

We had pick up and delivery service, spent literally hundreds a month and had to beg for an extra bag, lost and delayed clothing several times, had to beg the driver for a hanger box to return hangers to them! Always over starched and frankly not very good cleanings. After the fire at their main facility they told us customs to leave our dry cleaning out for normal pick up and delivery but that they couldn't give us an estimated return date.... Agh no, that's not going to work...cancelled our service. read more

Pick up and delivery service is very good. The attached receipt is nice and dry cleaning is done very professionally. The service manager was accommodating, as well. They even leave dog biscuit for our friendly lab. read more

In attempt to press my Grandmother's vintage wedding dress, a staff member admitted to forcing the dress over a form that was too large for the dress, ripping the princess neckline several inches down the center of the bodice. The original fabric tags that were sewn to the inside of the dress had been removed, perhaps in attempt to devalue the dress that had been made in Paris. I was shocked that Brother's Cleaners mailed me a bill for the cleaning of the dress and offered no apology. I did not pay the bill after disputing it twice with the manager and providing before and after photos of the damaged garment. I was given no compensation for the damage done to an irreplaceable item. read more

I actually visited the new brothers on creedmoore road and was greeted with a smile when I dropped off and greeted with the same smile when I picked up the young ladies that work there are very polite and professional my experience at this cleaners was one of the best I have had ever my clothes came back well cleaned and pressed I would recommend the cleaners to anyone ..that was my first experience the second one was just as pleasant dealing with the same young ladies Jennifer and Lori only this time my clothes were a little late but these ladies took very good care of me and were very understanding and they did everything possible to make sure I was a happy customer I will continue to frequent this cleaners and make creedmore my regular location.. read more

If I could give Brothers Cleaners a lower star rating I would....but 1 star is the lowest option on here. Let me start by saying--ABSOLUTE WORST DRY CLEANERS this side of NC. They have ruined and lost many of my garments. I hesitated to stay with them even before the fire as I my husbands shirts were constantly being damaged or returned without being folded (even though the "fold" tag was clearly still on the shirt) Now I wish I had left a long time ago because I ended up losing a ton of expensive clothing in their fire. Thankfully no one was hurt. However, as a small business owner myself, your customers come first--they are the ones giving you business. Not the case with Brothers Cleaners....it took several MONTHS for them to just respond to my claim for what I lost in the fire. Nor did they inform me immediately that my items were lost in their fire. I was expecting my clothes to be delivered (I was on the route) my driver came by and picked up more clothes from me but did not deliver anything....I figured I would give them a few days as they just had the fire but then my next delivery day came around and to my surprise.....none of my items from my pickup before the fire or the most recent pickup, ever came back! I called the Atlantic avenue location and then another location I believe and not a single person would tell me anything or answer the phone. I left countless voicemails (when the voicemail box wasn't full!) and emails and NO RESPONSE! A simple acknowledgment would have sufficed but again, NOTHING! Finally I waived my driver down and asked him, he informed me that the fire was a total loss and suggested I contact his route manager, since I wasn't getting through to anyone else in the entire company!!! So he gave me her business card and I called Christina, the route manager, she answered immediately and answered every question I had been trying to get answered for WEEKS! I was devastated to find out that all my garments (about 15 pieces) were completely destroyed. She was very helpful and apologetic and offered to help me initiate my claim process (since absolutely no one else in the company would get back to me) she emailed me an itemized list of each piece that I lost in the fire. She gave me the direct phone number and email address to contact customer service who was supposedly handling the claims....and again, no one would respond to any of my inquires. I felt so bad calling Christina again but it seemed that she was the only one who cared enough to help me through this process. I explained to her that I had researched the cost of each item I lost and I wanted to submit my claim. Although this was not her job, she assisted me in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE! She took the bull by the horn so to speak and took all of my information regarding my claim directly to the claims department....and finally I received a call back to confirm my claim information (this is now months after the fire). If it wasn't for the route manager and my friendly driver, we never would have stayed as long as I did. Since the fire, things have NOT gotten any better. My clothes do not come back in the normal 3 day turnaround like they should OR they come back with another customers clothes mixed in?!??? Half the time they don't honor my 10% coupon that I put in my bag and then they kept charging my cc even tho I had a "credit" in my account from the fire claim. There were a few times that my clothes did not come back as scheduled, I contacted the route manager and she informed me they were still In process but offered to personally deliver my clothes to me as soon as they were ready. That's amazing customer service! The fact that she went out of her way to insure I got my clothes before my family and I left town for a trip. I couldn't have been happier! However, my husband and I decided it was too much of a headache to stay with brothers cleaners and I appreciated everything that Christina had done to help me but the rest was out of her control and frankly it was bad business. Save yourself the hassle and try Tide Cleaners on Falls Of Neuse/Spring Forest Rd. They are friendly and the service is good. My clothes are always ready same day or next day.
