Supposedly this is the sister restaurant to Brother's Taco House in Eado. It is a much different atmosphere. When I showed up before noon, I was only one of two customers. The place is cozy in size similar to Andy's Home Cafe and there is a bar for solo diners to eat at. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is a steam table that serves a lunch special with multiple options. It is not manned all the time because customers may want to order from the menu instead. The prices here are cheap, even less than Frank's or Telwink nearby. My catfish and eggs were $11.99 and it was only $1.50 to add an extra egg. The catfish may have been swai though given how mild it was, but the portions were comparable to the diner competitors. You also have to season the eggs and grits yourself like at other diners. As I was eating, customers started strolling in for lunch. The bad thing about the place is the steep entrance and exit to the parking lot. If you have a low car like mine, you'll definite scrape the bottom no matter what angle you take. So I don't think I will ever return despite the food value here. read more

It was my second time here and I ordered the same thing as my first. Chicken fried chicken with white and brown gravy. A Belgian waffle with sugared powder and cinnamon powder. The portions are big and the food is delicious! It's also affordable, the portions are so big that it's almost a steal. The service is always great. I got there early and my order didn't take long. My family member ordered a Menudo and they enjoyed it. We asked the waitress for a small sample and they were nice enough to let us try it before we actually ordered the menudo. If you're looking for a quick, easy and cheap breakfast with no frills.. Leo's Country Kitchen is the place to go! Literally breakfast plate of eggs cooked the way you like, with bacon and hash browns for like $6.99 or something dirt cheap. It's a diner like experience and comes with diner prices! Belgium waffle, breakfast tacos, cheese omelette? They have it all; it's all as you would expect; and the cheese omelette and tacos are pretty large in size! Service is always friendly and fairly quick. There's usually a steady stream of people on the weekends but we never have trouble getting a seat. Parking lot is small but everyone seems to make up their own spots and it's always fine. Fiance loves coming here cause it's his type of place. The menu is extensive, but I stuck with something fairly mundane--two fried eggs with sausage and home fries. All of it was great, the eggs cooked perfectly and the sausage and home fries delicious. Decided to give it a try since it was 3 minutes away from home. I was not very impressed. I had higher expectations for this place. I saw the menudo sign for 5.99, so I knew it would be a miss or hit but still decided to give it a try. Also, I got the scramble egg with cheese just in case de menudo was a failed. You can't go wrong with eggs. Anyways, back to the food, the menudo was missing flavor it tasted like it was reheated. The cheese on the egg was just a cold slide of America cheese that I mixed with my egg to melted. I wish they would have melted the cheese, but no problem, still eat it. I did have the kids taste the menudo, and only the youngest said it was good, so I guess it couldn't be that bad l. The restaurant those needs a little maintenance and maybe a cleaning to be a new restaurant it need some keep up. Service was not bad, but those needs some improvement. read more

Wanted to try a new breakfast place area and I stumbled upon this one! I noticed this was only 3 mins away and saw it had good reviews so decided to try it out. I had placed a to-go order over the phone this morning and said the wait time was about 10-15 mins which was great for me. I walked into the restaurant, it's a little bit small but very manageable first thing you see is the kitchen bar and it was decorated very nicely, and the food did not disappoint at all I had ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was really good! They give you either brown gravy or white gravy along with hashbrowns/ grits and toast/biscuit and the portion size was a good size I would say! Update: Just finished picking up some tacos for me and my buddies from work. I ordered two P&E and two ham and egg tacos... total cost $21.30 w/ tax, a little bit much for tacos, but I'm willing to pay for some good eats. Sad to report that these were not even close to being good. The ham and egg are mainly hash browns with a little egg and ham sprinkled on in.
