Food was amazing the chilaquiles Comes with home fries, beans, your choice of egg and bacon/sausage. Service was good, the place is clean and I would recommend. I will be back to try something else off the menu.

It was my second time here and I ordered the same thing as my first. Chicken fried chicken with white and brown gravy. A Belgian waffle with sugared powder and cinnamon powder. The portions are big and the food is delicious! It's also affordable, the portions are so big that it's almost a steal. The service is always great. I got there early and my order didn't take long. My family member ordered a Menudo and they enjoyed it. We asked the waitress for a small sample and they were nice enough to let us try it before we actually ordered the menudo. It's a nice hidden gem and a must have if in the area!

If you're looking for a quick, easy and cheap breakfast with no frills.. Leo's Country Kitchen is the place to go! Literally breakfast plate of eggs cooked the way you like, with bacon and hash browns for like $6.99 or something dirt cheap. It's a diner like experience and comes with diner prices! Belgium waffle, breakfast tacos, cheese omelette? They have it all; it's all as you would expect; and the cheese omelette and tacos are pretty large in size! Service is always friendly and fairly quick. There's usually a steady stream of people on the weekends but we never have trouble getting a seat. Parking lot is small but everyone seems to make up their own spots and it's always fine. Fiance loves coming here cause it's his type of place. We've been here a handful of times and when he wants a traditional breakfast, this is usually his go-to! Don't come expecting anything fancy and you won't be disappointed!

The food was really delicious! I had the pork chop, egg, hash browns, grits, and added a waffle which was incredibly fluffy and flavorful. I didn't do the powdered sugar, but the cinnamon and butter I believe was a game changer.

The food is unbelievable! The waitress was super nice, this place is a few blocks away from my house. Very quaint place. I had the liver and onions, mashers and green beans!

Decided to give it a try since it was 3 minutes away from home. I was not very impressed. I had higher expectations for this place. I saw the menudo sign for 5.99, so I knew it would be a miss or hit but still decided to give it a try. Also, I got the scramble egg with cheese just in case de menudo was a failed. You can't go wrong with eggs. Anyways, back to the food, the menudo was missing flavor it tasted like it was reheated. The cheese on the egg was just a cold slide of America cheese that I mixed with my egg to melted. I wish they would have melted the cheese, but no problem, still eat it. I did have the kids taste the menudo, and only the youngest said it was good, so I guess it couldn't be that bad l. The restaurant those needs a little maintenance and maybe a cleaning to be a new restaurant it need some keep up. Service was not bad, but those needs some improvement.

First morning in Houston after a long international flight and wanted a down-home sort of breakfast at a place that was nearby and open early. This fit the bill and did not disappoint. The menu is extensive, but I stuck with something fairly mundane--two fried eggs with sausage and home fries. All of it was great, the eggs cooked perfectly and the sausage and home fries delicious. The coffee was even really good. Nothing fancy, but good, honest food. Just what I was after. Thanks!!

I have been knowing Leo for over 30 years and I'm so glad and proud he now has his own place. Just like old memories this place feels like home. Food was great and the restaurant is clean and we AC. I will be coming back as many times as I can from now on.

Chicken fried chicken, with hasbrowns and eggs! (gravy was on the side as well as the toast)

Wanted to try a new breakfast place area and I stumbled upon this one! I noticed this was only 3 mins away and saw it had good reviews so decided to try it out. I had placed a to-go order over the phone this morning and said the wait time was about 10-15 mins which was great for me. I walked into the restaurant, it's a little bit small but very manageable first thing you see is the kitchen bar and it was decorated very nicely, and the food did not disappoint at all I had ordered the chicken fried chicken and it was really good! They give you either brown gravy or white gravy along with hashbrowns/ grits and toast/biscuit and the portion size was a good size I would say! I will say that the service was fast and they were very friendly. Will come back again with perhaps family and friends!

There were 2 servers that were assisting with the table. Both very nice and got our orders correct. I had to split the bill in a weird way and they followed instructions well. The restaurant is always nice and clean including the restroom. The restaurant has a lunch option for 2 items for $25. What a steal! I got the wedge salad because I love the smothered blue cheese dressing. I got the mahi mahi tacos. Tacos were a good lighter choice. I didn't realize that it came with fries. All delicious options and so many options for even the pickiest eaters. Always a good choice for a nicer lunch.

We both ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. Sheri's was good, but mine was tough and gristly. The gravy tasted fine, although there wasn't much of it on the plate to begin with. The Sweet Chili Shrimp appetizer was the highlight of the meal and easily the best thing we ordered. I also tried the Soup de Julio. The flavor was excellent, but the bowl was mostly rice with very little else in it. Our friends ordered a salad and a burger, and both seemed pleased with their meals. I do want to give credit where it's due. Our waitress, **Sheila**, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. She was not responsible for what happened next. The total bill for our table was **over $200 including tip**. After spending that kind of money, we asked for a little extra gravy to take home with leftover chicken fried steak because the original serving was light. We weren't asking for a bowl--just a small ramekin. We were told there would be a **$2 charge plus tax**. That may not sound like much, but after spending more than $200, charging a customer extra for a tiny container of gravy felt incredibly petty. It's not the amount of money; it's the message it sends. Good restaurants build loyalty through hospitality, and this felt more like nickel-and-diming customers. The food ranged from average to good, Sheila's service was excellent, but the decision to charge for a small ramekin of gravy overshadowed the entire experience. Unfortunately, what should have been a pleasant meal ended on a sour note, and we won't be returning.

While I was leaving, Johnny Carrabba came out and talked to me for a second. What a nice guy. Full of natural charisma. Reminds me of an old wise guy from casino or Goodfellas. I thought it has to be a fancy restaurant to begin with. I forgot to check the menu. For being vegetarian, this restaurant is lacking dishes for me. Not a single vegan option on the menu, sad. Not sure why Yelp says there is. I ordered a large Caesar Salad. It came drenched with cheese. It looked ridiculous and tasted extremely salty. If I said no cheese, this dish would have been just a plate of romaine lettuce with 6 crotons. What a sad feeling. My friend ordered a stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens. He seemed enjoying it. The waiter was overly friendly and he kept pouring water into our glasses. He first warned us about the cornbread as second one will not be free. Heck. We barely touched it. It was too sweet for me and it has cheese. The crusty bottom seemed the only tasty part. Sigh. That was a no-go. The service was pretty good from entering to exiting. We came in pushing my friend on his wheelchair. Two employees already holding the doors open for us. Everyone was smiling and welcoming us. The hostess was a little overly enthusiastic. It kind of put me off. After reading the story and driving around to see the family restaurants, Mia's and Carrabba's, just around the corners. I think I'll be going to those restaurants next time.

Bottom line is that Milton's should be your go to place for just good old Italian fare but in an upscale but not stuffy atmosphere. Mark Sayre - the restaurant groups beverage director hosted the charity dinner for my wife and I and 4 other guests. We were served 9 courses family style including a couple of cold plates, a couple of salads, a couple of pastas and a couple of entrees along with a dessert. Everything was fantastic and Mark did a great job of hosting and explaining the wine pairings. The best of the apps was the Sicilian Tar tar. Tuna, scallop and salmon perfectly marinated on crostinis. The Hearts of Palm Salad was excellent, and they are definitely sharable, probably made for 3 - 4 guests to share. Of the two pastas the Cresta De Gallo stood out the most, but the Bolognese was also virtually perfect. Of the two entrees we enjoyed the Chicken Piccata slightly more than the Hanger Steak. On our second visit, Ryan was our server. He had been our server at Underbelly, One Fifth and Georgia James in the past and remembered us immediately and was a wonderful host for the meal. This time the table enjoyed the Chargrilled Oysters and the Parsley Salad to start. We also sampled 4 pastas - The Cresta De Gallo again, the Chitarra with Scallops and Uni, the Lumache with Vodka Sauce and the Sourdough Tagliatelle. All were fantastic. My personal favorite was the Chitarra. In the end we finished off all 4 so no leftovers. We then shared the Chicken Piccata as our only entree. This dish is so good. Juicy Chicken, flavorful sauce, and the Sourdough Tagliatelle was the perfect accompaniment. We also enjoyed two desserts - The Budino (which is more like a chocolate tort than a pudding) and the Tiramisu. Both wonderful. If Milton's wasn't over an hour from our house, it would become a regular on the rotation. But it is definitely good enough to warrant many return visits.
