I was renting directly from the homeowner and we had a phenomenal relationship before this awful company took over. Once they took over. Nothing got done regarding any repairs. I had a whole in my wall for 6 months after a plumbing repair in the master. They also raised the rent $400 the first time and another few hundred upon the second year (directly after the pandemic in which I paid all the way through the pandemic without missing once). I decided to move out because of how horrible key property management was. We went our separate ways and all of a sudden I'm being contacted by a collection agency saying I owe $6k on top of the fact they never returned my security deposit. I never received ANYTHING from key stating what the charges were or what it was for or how I could dispute it. BEWARE!!! Very very poorly run and clearly they operate in a shady manner. Rather than a phone call or something to reach me to discuss any charges, they just stay silent then send you to collections. The house was left in better condition that I originally rented it in and I just found all my pictures/texts and documents proving all of it. I'm pretty excited now. I take that back, I am VERY excited for the future. DO NOT USE KEY PROPERTY MISMANAGEMENT!!! Unless you want to have minor repairs take 6+ months, poor communication from the office and to be charged a bunch of charges and never be told until you see a collection agency calling to tell me that I not only don't get my security deposit but that I owe $6k for a house that was a forclosure with nothing done to it, when I moved in...... But they make you spend thousands to make units like model units in a down market. If I could get higher rents then the investment in improving all fixtures is warranted. If you don't replace what they want you to replace, although the fixtures work well and look nice, 5 star drops you. When they worked for me, they didn't listen to me and used their vendors instead of my vendor I told them to use. To me, 5 star cares more about representing beautiful units then helping landlords finding tenants I would not use 5 star unless you like you property looking great at the costs of thousands but never getting the rent to justify it. They don't help landlords in a down market. But this is my opinion. You my like to spend thousands to fix you property like a showroom but not receive the rents.

We recently had to go through some major renovations for our property before putting it back up for rent. Eventhough there is a bit of a gap between tenants, Ferran has been more than helpful with us trying to get the property up to shape. It is definitely not the easiest task trying to handle this while physically living in another state, and he has always been consistently available with all our requests (large and small, non-urgent and time sensitive) - not to mention extremely knowledgeable with any questions or concerns we needed addressed concerning the property or potential tenants. It was almost like we were physically there handling it ourselves with how timely he was with his responses. The renovations were completed recently, and within days he already had tenants lined up for us to consider. We've had our share of pretty bad/shady experiences with previous property management companies, and surprisingly our faith is being restored by this partnership alone. I'm sure they paid people to get to that rating. I have been the Treasurer for our HOA for 13 years. In that time we have had 6 different companies. We are a small HOA with only 70 units. Management Trust cost us more $ than the other six and did the least! We have had FCCMI for over one year and they have done the most. I have found them to have the best informative, up to date computer system. It is very important for the HOA board to see the budget, checks paid, violations and all that the other things needed to insure our community is safe, keeping up with NRS regulations and still a pleasant place to live. We also have one of the lowest HOA fees in our area. After reading the complaints against this FCCMI, I feel Homeowners need to be informed as to what the duties of the Management company are! They do not tow cars, they do not tag cars. A towing company has a contract with "YOUR HOA" not with your Management Company. The rules are set by the HOA BOARD. You as a homeowner needs to go to or call in to the next meeting. If you can prove that it should not have been towed, the HOA needs to refund you. The only major complaint that I had with FCCMI was the issue their phones not being answered. That was in the first 6 or 7 months. To date, that issue has been resolved. I would suggest that the people who are complaining with bad reviews, first check your rules and regulations and if you still have a complaint--GO TO A MEETING AND LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD. Oh, better yet, volunteer to be on the board. I am only on the board because no one one else wants to do this thankless work. Like Share
