That always makes me happy. I was able to get an appointment that week with esthetician Lauren. You'll probably miss this spot when you first arrive because its inconspicuously tucked away inside a nondescript office building. See my photos of the exterior of where to go and you'll save yourself a bit of time and confusion. There's a few metered spots directly outside the office building as well as a metered parking lot behind the building. Flawless is on the second floor and the elevator didn't look like it worked, so be prepared for stairs in terms of accessibility. Their space is super cute, welcoming and buzzing with happy clients. This was the first time I ever had a lash lift, and Lauren was great! She was very knowledgeable, walked me through the process, and followed COVID safety protocol. The building itself is older, and in her service room, it was super muggy when we started my service. I was overheating and she was kind enough to put on the AC specifically to make me more comfortable. I loved my lashes afterwards and they lasted longer than I expected. Comparatively, their prices are fair and even with other local businesses. They also offer tanning and other beauty services, and I won't hesitate to return here for a future service. I called on Tuesday night and she got back to me the next morning via text to schedule an appointment for the following day. Her place is not hard to find, on the 2nd floor above Starbucks in Legacy Village. Parking meters not expensive- I just put a quarter in for 30 minutes. Upon arriving, Laila greeted me and was very nice. She asked if I had had threading before or if it was my first time and I explained that I have been threading for 2 years now. She had me lay down on her table and I explained that I wanted my eye brows kind of thin but since my eye brows are kind of straight I wanted a small arch towards the tail end. She worked very quick and paid attention to plucking the stray hairs. After she was done she showed me a mirror to look and if i wanted any changes she could do it as well. I am very happy about the threading and how my eyes turned out. Just for this one session it was $27. Granted it is waaaayyy more expensive than what I'm use to (I paid $7 + $3 tip in Houston) I would recommend Laila's business to any lady who's interested in getting threaded.

I visited over a year ago in April 2023 and this review is being written in May 2024. CUSTOMER SERVICE -- In my experience, they have good customer service. I called last minute and I was able to get an appointment. NAILS -- There are a variety of styles and colours to choose from - you can keep your natural nails or add acrylic (fake) nails. I got acrylic nails for the first time with a pink gel polish. My actual nail service was a little rushed towards the end because I noticed that after the staff member was done, my cuticles or the skin around my nails were not smooth. There was still little bits of dry skin that could be cut or peeled off. The nail technician, a woman, didn't remove some of my dry skin around my nails. Granted, I could have said something to her afterwards but after already spending over 1 hour there, it was getting late at night and I needed to go back to my apartment. It was obvious to me though that the nail technician would know how to finalise a nail service. For such an expensive nail service, it would have been nice if they paid more attention to the little details. My cuticles and some dead skin were not done correctly. In addition, when I went back 2+ months later to have the nails removed, which I believe is free or $10, I noticed that my actual nails were brittle/soft/weak. It took over 4 months for my nails to feel strong again. A friend told me that the method that they used to remove the acrylic nails may have put too much pressure of on my actual nails and damaged them. I'm never getting acrylic nails and gel polish again whether here at Liz Nails or elsewhere. It works for some people but not for me. After my first peel and seeing the layers of skin coming off as my face felt on fire, I was scared. However, Marijana assured me this was normal and my skin would transform. Boy was she right! Having pigmented skin, I was skeptical about procedures leaving scars, but she was very careful in application and testing how the skin reacts. Over time, I trusted her to make the right choices for my skin. She is patient and will take her time to work on your problem spots. Look out for package deals. This is where you can save a little money on some of the treatments (pro-cell, jet peels, hydrafacials, etc.). Her schedule can book up fast. So plan ahead. The office will call you with a reminder about your upcoming appointment and to confirm. If you need to cancel a service, be sure to do so at least 24 hours in advance or there is a charge (maybe $25?). They can also place you on a cancellation list and call if something opens up before your scheduled appointment. The spa also carries various skin care products from brands like Eminance and Image. Marijana uses these products in her services. So you can experience them at home too if they work well for you! She will also order any of them for you!
