I left with what can only be described as a mullet, strands that were far too long and awkward to wear down, with no shape, no balance, and no styling. It was so weird), My hair was so botched that my sister said it looked worse than when I tried to cut my own bangs in second grade. I told the stylist I was unhappy before I left the salon (I was in tears. I got into my car and literally cried), but she shrugged and vaguely offered to "fix it" within a week. I sat in the chair and said several times, hey this is not what I was looking for. I had reference photos that were as close to my hair type as possible. She kept kind of shrugging and ignoring me. As a small business owner and mom of two, I didn't have time to come back as it was also the week of the 4th of July. I've spent every single day since wearing a hat or a headband. The cost was over $100 to get my hair butchered, and I felt obligated to tip, despite feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied. In retrospect, obviously I should not have. I followed up right away via email, sent photos, and tried to communicate. The salon owner, Rachelle, responded a couple of times, I responded back with times that worked for me to come in for her to fix it, and then she just stopped responding completely. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. The lack of urgency, accountability, or a clear solution made a frustrating experience worse. I'm still out the money and now have to pay another salon to fix it. The attached picture is from immediately after my appointment. As you can see, nothing was styled and my hair is exponentially worse than when I stepped into The Studio. Who would walk into a salon and ask for the awkward growing-out-bangs stage for a haircut??? Horrible.

The price is the best I've seen in Cleveland and they give student discounts, which, in addition to client pics online and a good location, is what primarily drew me here. However, I do recommend double checking with your stylist about how much you will owe -- I went in thinking the price would be the same as online, but was charged more, so even though it's not very expensive, I would recommend double-checking. I got a very standard trim, and Jordan did a great job taking off all of my dead ends. I perhaps might have liked more layering than what she did, but she respected that I wanted to be able to pull all of my hair back into a ponytail, which was still very much possible. The main downside was that she waited far too long to straighten my bangs, so by the time she wanted to do them, they had already dried in a super weird way and needed to be re-wetted and re-dried before she could trim them. I told her this was going to happen, since I have super thin hair, but I don't think she believed me. But overall, I got a really nice cut, and will likely be coming back.

Since I haven't done other services here beside the Brazilian wax, a 4/5 overall review for this business is fair. BRAZILIAN WAX -- I visited for the first time in October 2021 for a full Brazilian wax. Much to my surprise, I came back again on 6 January 2023 for another full Brazilian Wax. This time around, I had Candance Haynes as the waxer. I preferred Candance over the person I had before (no offence) because Candance was a bit more thorough or attentive with the final cleanup process and she didn't leave any hot wax behind on my body. Overall, 5/5 stars for Candance doing such a great job on a full Brazilian Wax service. I highly recommend her especially if you hardly get this service done or if it is your first time. She doesn't accept male clients but there is another employee (Jessica I believe) who does take on male clients. I may come back for eyebrow threading in the future. I am used to getting those services done by South Asian women from India or Pakistan but I'm happy that Peach Fuzz offers this service. I had Angie the owner. I asked for long layer cut to land just slightly above my shoulders when dry. I brought pictures and discussed how I wanted the wavy look in the pictures. I have had this cut before with another salon (further away and way more $$) and it came out great. What I got was an uneven cut that lands 2in above the shoulder. Except for the uneven pieces that frame my face. I told her I scrunch my hair and barely use a hair drier. Angie said I should invest in a flat iron. She even put straightener in my hair. So right there I think her intent was for me to style my hair straight. NOT a good look on me. My sisters and friends that have seen it have been upfront with me. All were pretty sure I was exaggerating until they saw it. NO one likes it. My one friend couldn't stop staring and saying "WOW". But not in a good way. Some extra items to note: 1) Once she set to cutting my hair she launched into her sales pitch of services and cost. On and on and on...I could ignore it because it was kind of comical. 2) I did notice as I paid with cash, that they charge a percentage for credit card use. AND new customers are to give them a credit card to keep on file. I presume so they can charge customers their cancellation fee. No way would I leave a card on file at some little unsecure hair salon. I have wedding and graduation parties to attend. What am I suppose to do with f* up hair? Yes a bad hair cut can ruin many days/weeks/months until your hair grows out. Hope you never have to find that out for yourselves.
