I can see why the lines for Preet are so long. She really does a consistently great job. No matter what time of day, there is always a line. I just wish it was cheaper. I'm a very difficult person to please and I'm rarely satisfied because I know what high quality work is. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded by her since 2007 when Preet Beauty Salon wasn't even opened up yet so I'm a long time customer. I've never went anywhere else ever since I've found her. Due to my weird eyebrow shape and spots with missing hair no one has ever been able to shape my eyebrows literally no one. After just moving to Cleveland, I was on the hunt for someone new to thread my eyebrows. After receiving a few recommendations, and growing my eyebrows out for 3 weeks (they grow very quickly and thickly), I decided I would make an appointment and go. Upon arrival, I had to wait just a few minutes as she was finishing up someone else. It was my turn next, and I told her I'd like to keep them thick but more shaped. She nodded her head, and I hoped for the best. Five minutes later, she handed me the mirror to take a look and I was amazed! My eyebrows have NEVER looked better. Cleaned up, shaped with an arch and, still full. I was so pleasantly surprised as I did not expect this outcome. She was also extremely quick, and barely any pain although my hair is very thick and stubborn. I went again two weeks later and again, she worked her magic, I loved them just as much as the first time. It doesn't get much better than this, I have found my new spot and will continue going to Preet's. The service itself is very affordable, I believe it is only $10. Now I am always hesitant about eye brow threading. Based off the fact most "threading specialist" are just people with a tiny thread in their hands "claiming" to be a miracle worker. (I've had a couple of bad experiences). I was referred to Preet from a relative of mines who had the best eyebrows I've ever seen in awhile!!! So of course I had to get the 411 ASAP!!! When I first arrived I was greeted (which is rare these days) and a HUGE plus there was no line to be seen!!! So I sat in the chair and told Preet about my experience and that I have been growing my eyebrows out for the past 7 months in hopes of starting fresh! She said ok. I will fix it for you. I left that salon feeling like a brand new woman!!! If I could have done a cartwheel through the parking lot I surely would have!!! Preet always hooks me up! I found her through a fellow Yelper and friend. Best suggestion ever! My eyebrows usually look cut off but Preet threads them so they look fuller and longer. Preet appears to be fluent in English, but she either does not actually understand or she willfully disregards all requests regarding brow shape and size. She made my brows progressively thinner on each visit, despite my regular requests to keep them as thick as possible. Six months ago, she'd gotten them all the way down to 1-hair-thick, such that I couldn't even see them at all in some spots when looking at myself straight ahead in the mirror. When I reacted in shock and horror, she said it was my fault for coming in too often. So I stayed away for six months and went through the grueling regrowth phase until they were finally thick and bushy again. I returned this week to get them lightly shaped. I pointed out the exact spots I wanted them tweaked, and reminded her for about the 50th time that I want to keep them thick. She nodded and said "okay." Then she instead reduced them to about ¼ of their size, making them a skinny line only 3-hairs-thick, with a couple of spots just 1-hair-thick. I'm am sickened and disgusted. They're hideous, and I look disfigured. And now it will take me six more months to grow them back in again. I will *not* be giving her another crack at ruining them ever again. read more

I have been going to them since they opened they are by far the friendliest most professional and cleanest salon i have ever been to. I have never had to wait long despite the full seats in the waiting area and i have never been disappointed. I came here about once a month for about 2 years. I came to dread my trips to get my eyebrows threaded here. It always felt like an assembly line, literally the lady yells out 'next' most times without even looking up or looking at the clients. The husband at the register and wife doing the threading seemed to have little to no rapport w nor interest in their largely African-American clientele. (On one occasion the husband went out to yell at a lady who parked too long in front of his storefront business.) The woman threading was never interested in what my preference for eyebrow shape was, what I was trying to do "grow out", etc. She'd reply to me and everyone else "yeah yeah ok" or "ok ok I know". Honestly everyone getting out of her chair had almost the exact shape. Handing you a mirror to look when she was done was a rote habit. There was no interest in feedback. If you did notice a stray hair, odd shape, and had the nerve to say anything, it was made clear to you and all the other clients waiting - you were quite the nuisance. Before your knees were straight she'd be yelling 'next'. Trust me, I know what it is to need to get your eyebrows threaded, to swear you won't ever wax them again - I get it. Finally, I said no more and decided to never go back and committed to finding a new place. It wasn't easy but eventually I did find a great new spot. You don't have to be treated like a number. You don't have to settle for eyebrows that don't match your face, your hair growth patterns, or what you want. There are other eyebrow threaders out there who will value your business, you as a client and treat your eyebrows as unique as they are. This is not that place. read more

So not only did she miss a few spots but the base of my right eyebrow doesn't match the base of my left brow, AND she didn't really have to do much but just clean up because my eyebrows weren't fully grown out. I went to this place last week for my eye brows and today i went to get my manicure done. Honestly, im very satisfied with the service. She is very sweet and professional. Im a difficult person when it comes to my eye brows, because i like my eye brows to be thick and natural looking. She did a great job! And told me where i should grow the hair so they look perfect. My manicure was very clean and beautiful! Thin layers of the polish ( which i like the most) and very clean. One thing that she doesnt have many colors to choose from but she said she ordered it. So hope soon she will have more colors. But its a great place, i totally recommend it! read more
