I come here every three weeks for my threading regimen! and i have to say I Love the way it is painless and it always looks good afterwards.. when i leave this place i get compliments out the door and even when i get home my dh notices, which is always a good thing if you know what I mean! Sorry can't give all the stars because the wait in here at times is SUPER LONG and LONG! I dare not come here on a Saturday morning! you'll be in there till Saturday evening messing with them! that's why I go during the week when the wait is a bit shorter than the average 45 to an hour wait... Oh, the places you'll go and things you'll do for a pair of perfectly groomed 'brows. 24 Karat Salon is my go-to place for threading, and I don't even live anywhere near this area - so that's saying something! This salon is spacious and clean, with sisters Sharifa and Noor manning the threading stations. They're both very soft-spoken, polite, and efficiently quick. I usually drop by on a weekday after work and there's no wait - I'm literally in and out the door within 10 minutes. As other reviewers have mentioned, I feel like they use a special type of thread because I never feel a thing, and I have pretty low tolerance for pain. Prices are $6 for eyebrows, $3 for upper lip, and a $7 minimum is required for cards. They have expressed that they prefer cash, however. Don't forget to tip! read more

I have never came here upset after a session for brows! The ladies here do an amazing job. I've been coming here since they first opened back in 2011, I believe. They can get a little threading happy so I would advise y'all to ask for them to clean your brows with an arch (if you desire)! read more

This place downgraded tremendously. When I first starting coming here a few months ago, everybody was so nice and professional! I especially loved Sharifa, she was AMAZING! But they've had a change of staff recently and the new people are just awful... I came two weeks ago before my vacation to get my eyebrows and lip threaded. I got there at 6:05ish (they close at 6:30) and the lady was extremely rude as soon as I came in. It would literally only take her 10 minutes or less to thread my brows and lips yet she was sighing and telling me to not come so late next time...sorry? I was the only one there and when I came in, she was just laying on one of the chairs watching TV. Today, I was busy all day and couldn't come until 6:10. When I got there, the OPEN sign was off which I thought was weird because they're supposed to be open until 6:30. I see her (same lady as last time) still in there working on somebody so I open the door just to ask if she's still taking customers and before I can even open my mouth, she was YELLING. "We're closed! The sign is off!" Um...okay...you couldn't find a nicer way to say that? I'm going to find a new place to go to because this place honestly isn't worth it anymore. read more

Sad sad news. Found out that Sharifa (AKA the woman that does the best threading in Sugar Land) is no longer working there. And apparently her sister (who was also pretty good) is working much shorter hours. There are 2 younger ladies that now work there and they are no where as good. One I'm particular was quite rude to me yesterday, actually. She ended up being the one doing my brows and not only did she forget to thread between my brows, she seemed agitated in general. I'm sad to say I'll no longer be returning here unless someone updates a review saying Sharifa is back. She is basically what kept business running here because I know a lot of people come here for her. There's no way any of their current customers are satisfied with the ladies that are currently working...especially not the rude one I had! read more

I've been coming to this place for about 3-4 years now and I've gotta say, it's been wonderful! Between then, I've moved houses so I've tried to find salons that have been close to my house and that has been good enough to keep coming back to. I found one similar but nothing could beat 24 Karat Salon. I do recommend Sharifa for your eyebrow threading but all the ladies are just as good. Sharifa just makes the eyebrows clean and perfect! Time to find a new threading place :/ The ladies are very sweet and they also give you a slight massage at the end of the threading. I always get the same lady to do my eyebrows (she's the owner I believe and older than the rest) because the younger ladies tend to cut me. Sherifa and her sister, the owners of this salon, are very sweet. I have been getting my eyebrows done for about 7 years, and since this salon has recently opened for about 2 years, I've been very happy and pleased when I stop by for my threading. On top of being quick and relatively painless (one time a lady at some salon on HWY6 cut into my skin with thread, but that has not happened here), there is a special little face massage rub that they do at the end! Feels fabulous :) I always try to get my eyebrows/ upper lip done on a weekday, because while you can get lucky on the weekends and have a very short wait or none at all, sometimes I've waited for whole families of girls who get their whole face threaded. Sometimes though, they are polite and if you look like you're in a hurry or worried about time, the other guests don't mind letting you go ahead because really the whole eyebrow threading is only a few minutes. :) Cash is preferred, and I always tip at least $3 or $4 just because the ladies here are so sweet. I've also scheduled a facial here once. It was a different experience, because I thought it might've been like the typical ones where your face is steamed, peeled, pricked, bled, squeezed, and ouch! Nope, here, it was VERY RELAXING! In the cozy private room on a soft bed, there's dim lighting, relaxing water/birds music playing, and they said all of the face masks were naturally prepared. (Give them at least a 24 hour notice/appointment! ) I was given a soft tunic top to change into before the facial appointment, and they do this because your SHOULDERS and neck and upper part of your chest are massaged and exfoliated too :) I was very happy, and this facial/massage only costed $35 I couldn't believe it and she wouldn't let me tip her $15!! So I left the money and ran out of the door anyways. read more

When I lived in Sugar Land, it was very convenient to go here every month to get my eyebrows threaded. After moving into the inner loop, I have tried many eyebrow places and I have never been completely satisfied with my eyebrows, it was either too thin or uneven. I am pretty picky about my eye brows so now I make a trip back to Sugar Land every couple of weeks to get my brows groomed. The shop is owned by two sisters, Noor and Sharifa. They also cut hair and do facials but I have never tried those services here so I can't speak about them. Every time I come here to get my brows threaded I have to remind Sharifa I like my eyebrows thick to be on the safe side because she threaded them a bit thinner than I would've liked a couple of times. She does a good job grooming my arches and gives me a mini facial massage after the threading. The prices are great, $5 for eyebrow threading. I haven't been able to find a cheaper place and also does a good job. I usually go on Saturday and it's usually packed but sometimes I get lucky and the wait is only about 5-10 minutes. read more

Highly recommend for threading. I have been going to Nuri before this place even opened. She is wonderful. No pain or redness and it takes about 10 mins. For $7.00 you can't go wrong. Plus she gives you a little massage when she's done. I have never tried any other services so I don't know how they are. But as for threading hands down you can't beat Nuri. read more

My absolute favorite place to go to get my eyebrows threaded! The salon is clean and smells nice. There is hardly ever a wait but I usually go in the middle of the day. They are inexpensive and do a great job. I've gone to other places to get my eyebrows threaded and they were a little painful however when I go here it doesn't hurt at all. I went to get my eyebrows cleaned up and the lady there took off entirely too much from just one eyebrow. There also seemed to be an issue with communication. She didnt understand English very well. I'm so upset because it takes a long time for my eyebrows to grow out, as it does for most people I believe. Trusting someone with your brows is a big deal and so feel it necesary to warn others of the experience I had here. Not sure if she hadn't slept or is having personal problems, but now my face is paying for it and I have to walk around with only one thin line. She also wouldn't even discount the price. So, I paid for this. She can keep the $8. Needless to say, I'm never going back there again. read more

I've been tweezing my eyebrows for years. However, I recently went overboard tweezing them and my eyebrows were left uneven and perhaps no amount of eyebrow pencil could save them. After I let the hairs grow back I knew I needed help reshaping them so I gave threading a chance. This salon is right by my house and had such great ratings and prices! I've even started going there for haircuts, and she does an amazing job. (Forgot her name, but there's only one lady who does haircutting. Over a decade of experience in India). She can have a good amount of people waiting, but she will still take her time with me. She always goes back and checks after completing a cut, insists on blow dry and straighten.. and often doesn't charge enough.. she's the sweetest! The young lady I had did a wonderful job on my eyebrows. They charge $7 for eyebrows and about 60 to $65 for facials. I got the massage facial which was only $20 but it felt so wonderful and they still gave me the neck and shoulder massage as well. They were very attentive to what I wanted and the questions that I asked. The only reason why I gave this place 4 stars was because of the condition of the massage room. the machines could have been wiped down and I'm not sure if the tablecloths are changed after ppl get up. The towel used to wipe my face almost..maybe started to smell sour...maybe it was just me. Also the $60 massages probably weren't worth what they were going for, other than the massage facial. Besides that the ladies were lovely, the customer service was excellent and I would go back. read more

This is hands down the best threading salon ever. They also do other things like henna, hair-cuts, waxing, highlights, etc. It's clean, nice and a beautiful location.
