By the way, when I booked the massages I just asked for an hour massage, didn't specify deep tissue, relaxation, etc. Starting off, the experience was fine. Their women's locker room isn't spacious but it has what you need - soft robes, sandals, bathrooms, and showers. You get comfy and relax in the lounge while you wait for your service. This time around, the lounge attendant didn't acknowledge us at all, didn't offer a drink nor the heated neck wrap. It was fine, I brushed it off because our service was in about 8 mins, so didn't have too much time to enjoy. The massage is the reason why this review is only 2 stars. We get called back, and it's a couples massage so me and my sister hear each others convos. My sister's massage therapist was kind and making sure she was comfortable. Mine asked if there were and areas I'd like her to focus on, I said lower back and shoulders. She spent more time on my legs and arms than my back at all. When she was working on my back, I asked about pressure, she said she was doing medium pressure. I requested more pressure, she ignored my request. She didn't respond nor did she change her pressure. Ending the massage, she hands me the glass of water and says.. you'll really want to schedule a massage, you're really tense in your shoulders.. I mean.. isn't that what I just did? Why did her giving me a massage for the last 55 minutes not help my tension in my shoulders? $140 wasted on this massage. Yes, I got to hang out with my sister, but didn't need to spend $140 to do that. The only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars is because it's about Spalon, and not just the massage therapist that I saw.

I first got a lash lift that left my lashes the exact same as when I walked in. Since I had another gift card, I figured I could come back and ask for the solutions to be left on for longer and possibly a different rod, but again the service just didn't work. Luckily I was given a discount without asking. I tried their dermaplaning service which was great and didn't disturb my skin at all. Lastly, I decided to give the mini mask a try. I have quite dry skin and thought this would be a simple solution for my concerns. However, I developed 2 really large and pus filled breakouts on each side of my face the next day. Unfortunately, it would have been better for me to stick to my routine at home. I can't say I would recommend these specific services. As a side note I was also a tad frustrated when I explained I was experiencing some acne since starting birth control (a common side effect listed for many different forms) and was told that was probably a coincidence and asked if I was washing my pillow cases enough by one of the estheticians. I was hoping that with skincare experts, I wouldn't have to explain that hormonal changes affect your skin.

The very next day half of it was fallen out ( I haven't been wearing makeup, no oily products on my face, Did not sleep on it, did not wet them). By four days into it, I barely had it. I called the owner and complained about it and she was apologetic and I asked if I she could take care of it and she said she will get back to me soon. Instead I was booked for a touch up with the same person who did my lashes. My original appointment was at 6.45pm. She text me earlier and asked if we could do it at 6.30pm and I was fine with it. I was there at 6.20pm and she ended up taking me at 6.45pm. No apologies for taking me late and giving me a bad experience. I got a fill and the very next day the lashes started falling out! I was really disappointed! And it was not cheap. Please read the reviews before you go. (Do not fall for the name and where it is located).
