My mom & I stopped by to get our brows threaded on a Friday night. Unlike my usual location (at northtown mall) there was no line or wait. We were able to get service right away. My mom's eye brows took about 5 minutes, while mine being a bit thicker took about 20. I do have a bit of a gap on my left eyebrow where there's no hair and they always are nice about letting me know that. Lol. I do fill it in with makeup. Overall I love how brows turned out, I always like how clean cut they look. Even did a little trim. Finished with witch hazel. Always a good price as well. read more

Absolutely terrible, I usually never leave reviews but I had to. She messed my eyebrows up. She took some of the hair out of the middle of my eyebrow. Then she made one smaller then the other and damn near took half of my eyebrow off. Then has the nerve to say my eyebrows were uneven. Yes because of you. I would never go here again. I'm not so sure what the bad reviews are for. I'm very picky and scared of trusting anyone with my eyebrows, but figured I would put my faith in this place because my dermatologist who has the most beautiful thick eyebrows says she goes here and my brow lady moved to Florida. It was a good experience, of course it's always uncomfortable, but so is waxing. Beauty is pain, right. Also, so cheap! I got my lip and brows done for $23, not to mention she kept them thick! Before my friend brought me here I'd never had my eyebrows threaded. To tell you the truth, I was kind of scared; however, though it takes a little longer, I find it much less painful than plucking or waxing (about the same price at $12) and the results are much more precise. The lady at this place was rude and not doing my eyebrows well. She talked back when I asked her to hold on for a second as it was bit paining. She interjected and said my brows are the problem, they are thick. I visited this place more than once in recent past and again now to give it another chance. The lady seemed like a trainee who was doing my eyebrows threading and had a taunting voice tone when I asked her to trim, make it little more thin. They should be courteous and polite to their customers as we are not getting it done for free. Also they should stop conversing in their own language to other co-workers,it's rude to customer ; especially while she was talking in between with me to cross check what I said about her other co-worker . My two daughters and I like getting our eyebrows done at this location. They are quick and do a great job with threading our eyebrows how we like. They are consistently good which is a plus. We usually get our brows done at the Studio in Eden Prairie, but the new threader there is so bad that I had to drive a little further out to get the results want. read more

My sister and I were really in need of an eyebrow fix and we were on a time crunch so were limited on our options. I was weary about going to the studio here (not the stand) but we both got right in on a weekday evening. The people were pretty friendly and very quick (we were both in and out in less than 10 minutes). It cost $14 each for our eyebrow threading. It wasn't the best place I've ever gone to but certainly satisfactory and I didn't leave disappointed. Will always prefer threading to waxing! read more

While Brow Studio 7 has several locations throughout the Midwest this is one of the best! I went here last summer when I was in town from Nebraska and they accepted my punch card from a different location although there was a little confusion. Fast forward to now, about 9 months later I have relocated to Minneapolis and returned and they remembered me!! They are so good at what they do and the customer service is unmatched. Sometimes eyebrow threading can be painful and the people there are rude too, but not here! Truly would recommend to anyone. read more

Oh thank you, sweet Jesus, eyebrow threading exists in Minneapolis! My eyebrows were feeling particularly not on-fleek after 1 month of negligence, so after performing several online searches, my yelp-y senses led me here. Normally I avoid eyebrow threading mall stands like the plague, as from experience, I've left with prominently uneven eyebrows with the occasional cut on my eyelid with the lady not even blinking an eye (or apologizing) before charging me 15 dollars. This is NOT the case here. Honestly, Brow Studio 7 has me rethinking that maybe mall threading stands are not so evil after all... For all who do not know or are tried-and-true waxing babies who are looking for something different, threading usually pulls out hairs from the root, meaning that they take longer to grow back vs. other means of hair removal. In addition, it leaves the target area less irritated. Personally, I find threading's pain scale to be on the same level as tweezing, as they are similar actions. The thought of waxing just pains me; I can't even deal with ripping a bandaid off my arm until it starts peeling off in one corner. ....ugh... Anyways, back to my experience. I was greeted immediately and asked to hold my eyelids. If you don't know how to do that, the lady will guide you, as your eyelids need to be tight for threading to work. The lady who threaded me did work slower than other threaders I've gone to, but I appreciate that she was taking her time rather than rushing her way into a half-assed job. Also, just a tip: before you close your eyes, let your threader know your preference on how you like your brows to look: arched, natural, or just a clean-up. They usually know what to do afterwards. I wish I remembered the name of my threader, but she did a great job. I'm not normally a fan of arched brows, but the way she shaped them made my brows look more visible even though she removed hair from that area. I appreciate that she didn't take off too much hair because nothing bothers me more than looking like I have thin, drawn-in brows. After the threading, she even offered to give me a sample of their brow powder to make my brows look fuller. That was extremely sweet of her, and even though I did not end up buying their product, I left with my eyebrows ON FLEEK. uhmm yes! One eyebrow threading costs $12, which is higher than what I normally pay. But honestly, that beats paying $35 for a single eyebrow waxing, which seems to be the norm in MPLS. I don't know how you ladies do it here. Point is, check this place out! I feel like this location is quite the hidden gem and especially in a dinky place like the mall, Brow Studio 7 deserves more recognition! read more

I have been coming here for the past few years and was satisfied it but I went back on Wednesday to get my eyebrows done and I asked for a clean up. While she was doing my brows I felt more pain than usual and asked her to stop and give me a minute. She asked me if it was painful and I said yes and she said she will be more careful. Well she continued but it still hurt. After she was done and I paid and left I still felt pain. I went to sephora and looked in the mirror only to see that she had taken sick off in three different spots and I was bleeding. It's been two days and is still painful. read more

I've never had my eyebrows threaded before, but thought I would give it a try after reading all of the positive reviews of this place. I have been here a couple of times, and each time I'm surprised at the lack of hygiene that occurs. They technicians go from person to person with out cleaning their hands, they handle money, touch peoples faces, sneeze, cough, put the thread in their mouths, and just continue on without washing or even using hand sanitizer on their hands. Also, each time they tore my skin under my eyebrows, and around my lips. I don't use any products that would make my skin super sensitive or thin, I think that they just don't have good technique. They've got an actual store front now, it's not just a kiosk which is nice. $16 for a thread and they do a great job. I've gone to 3 different local brow studios and have paid $30-$40 so it's great to find something less expensive but with great brow shaping. They also have a frequent client punch card which is nice as well. read more

I paid $16 for eyebrow threading; which is double the price I pay at my usual spot, Seva. The service was the same and the outcome was the same. Nothing spectacular to back up that price. Would not visit again unless the costs was more realistic read more
