I don't know if you can set an appointment, but I have always done walk-in. The owner, Krishna is friendly and professional. I think she does great work, attentive to detail, and the price is reasonable. Every visit is $20, which includes a $5.00 (aka 33%) tip. I know she offers other services, but I never had experience with those. The place is casual, as walk-in, you might be the only one, or you might have to wait for 2-3 other people ahead of you, but most get eyebrow threading so it is quick. If I was the only one in the salon, I know I will be in and out in 10-15 minutes. She also has loyalty stamp card where the 6 visit will be half off. read more

This is my usual go to salon to get my eyebrows threaded but yesterday I went there and Krishna was not working I've always got my eyebrows done by her for the past 6 years. When I went it was a new pregnant lady and I drove 20 min because of the results im used to getting but I was disappointed. My eyebrows were barely cleaned up and didn't really thread anything but the middle of my eyebrows and underneath and this lady threaded my skin off under my eyebrow and also took a chunk out of my other brow plus while threading she caught a piece of my eyelashes. I am so disappointed in the new people they have to do eyebrows now. I went in to get my eyebrows threaded and thought the usual person that's there would be there but this was someone new and I guess they were still doing training and my eyebrows came out completely different shapes, hair in areas that should of been taken out and I could feel that she wasn't used to doing the left eyebrow as she took forever. Giving two stars because I want to acknowledge that this is an accessible, affordable option for people to get threading done. This was my second time at Suvna as I was satisfied with the first visit. I was also a walk in. When I go to threading, I typically request sideburns in addition to brows (I have brown hair and I like cleaning up this side profile before events/trips.) during the treatment, the individual threading my sideburns went well beyond my sideburns into my lower chin, cheek, and more, which I was not comfortable with as I have sensitive skin and treatment wasn't requested there. I have experience threading this area and it was well beyond other's scope. The individual had difficulty with my right sideburn, the first side she did, and proceeded to rush the left side. When I got into my car after paying and tipping, I noticed that I had three bloody marks on my lower chin where she cut me with the thread. This is highly upsetting, given I had come in for sideburns and this area never should have been in scope, and now the skin is damaged. I am happy to share photos of the chin cuts at people's request. I read through 1 or 2 negative reviews below and I would agree with the sentiment that there must be a few new staff outside the owner that are less experienced. Today she told me sorry she can't do full face but only eyebrows because she is getting late or it's late something like that. I just moved to the Twin Cities and was really worried about having access to a legit eyebrow threading salon. Luckily, I found Suvna! They are decently accessible by public transit considering they are in the suburbs; coming from the 7 Corners area, I was able to take the Green Line and then connect to the 87 bus which drops off right outside of the strip mall. The salon itself is located inside of the Phoenix Beauty Salon Suites. I have gone twice and usually get my brows cleaned up, along with my upper lip and chin. Each time I had a different person, but both times I was happy with the outcome. I prefer a more natural look for my eyebrows which can easily go wrong, but Suvna did not disappoint. I also like that they put aloe vera on you afterward instead of Witch's Hazel since it is much more gentle and calming. Coming from NC, the prices are a little higher ($24 for the three areas mentioned, not including tip) than what I am used to. However, with their stamp card, you get a free service after 6-8 visits which makes it more affordable, especially if you are just getting your brows done. read more

The only reason I'm giving them four starts instead of five was because it was slightly confusing finding the building. They are inside a place called "Phoenix salons" in one of their suits which was not clearly stated anywhere on their website! Otherwise service was great and quick. My eyebrows have never looked better! She really has a good eye for shaping your eyebrows in a way that look natural for your face. The threading can be a little painful if your hair is thick, but it goes so so quick - about 5 minutes, so it is worth it! She is very sweet and the price is very reasonable as well. I really will not go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done anymore!
