Boca Rio Golf Club is exclusively for members and if they want to book parties etc. This place is very proper and very old Boca glamour. They had arranged a gorgeous room with beautiful flowers everywhere. For cocktail hour the servers were providing top notch service. As soon as I was done eating or drinking they took the plate or drink from me. And of course I went a few times to try all the appetizers. The shrimp cocktail, tuna tataki, smoked salmon, veggie dumplings, etc were all amazing. For the dinner segment, they had set up portable chef stations outside. This gave everyone the opportunity to look outside to the pristine golf course and enjoy the view. They had steak stations, seafood, Asian cuisine etc. I was stuffed from cocktail hour however I tried a few items. The only thing lacking at dinner time was the fact many of the dishes were very low on seasoning and a bit bland. Overall, the food was excellent but I needed a bit more salt/seasoning. My favorite dinner component was the endless arrangement of different kinds of salads. There is nothing like fresh greens. For dessert: I was thrilled they set up bite size portion desserts. My favorite was the carrot cupcake, which tasted divine. Overall, this club is gorgeous and if you have a chance to go, check it out. Class A act for sure.~

We ate outside at a dining table near the meeting room. I am re-writing this review here as I accidentally posted a review for the hotel I stayed at here. I highly recommend making a reservation coming during the day versus night because the price point is drastically different by day and time. We came on a Saturday from 12-2 and paid $40 for up to six people. The check in experience is phenomenal through their app. If you're looking to try something new on the weekend, check them out!

There are various settings and modes to accommodate the most novice patrons. There is a selection of wine, beer, and snacks. If you want any heavier food you are permitted to bring outside food to enjoy during your rental period. There is also plenty of T.V.'s and music and Miguel informed me that they always show the hottest sporting events. Overall this is a great place to hang out and I definitely recommend trying it out!

No one to be found. Upon check-in, the lazy, unfriendly cashier at check-in, barely looked up from her phone to provide any type of assistance. The only thing I got was "Pompano"? I said, yes I'm here in Pompano. She said no are you a resident of Pompano and I said no I live elsewhere in the county. She said $65 And then went back to her phone. After a couple of minutes, she realized that she hadn't pushed a button to activate the credit card machine. Are you kidding me!? Now we get out on the course and no beverage cart, no ranger and ridiculously slow play. When we finally called for beverage service, we were told to place our order online and someone would be out. When the beverage cart attendant showed up, she didn't have our order, was not friendly and argued about our order and whether it was even placed. We had to produce evidence that it was placed, and that she simply had not received it as of yet. Did I mention that she was rude?! Needless to say, we never saw her again. Upon leaving, again, no one to clean clubs and no one to help us with our bags. The only good part of the day was going to the restaurant that is not owned by the city, Galuppi's and they took great care of us. Find another place to play because this place clearly doesn't have their act together nor do they understand the basics of customer service. If I were in business today and had any control of this organization, I would fire everyone in charge!
